I've read about your frustration with Google's analytics a few months ago and as it so happens am now looking for an air filter. This video and your website are such an incredible resource, I hope that you are able to stay in the game. Thank you so much for the work you do!
Thanks! We actually went to visit Google HQ last week to speak to their engineering team about how they can value sites like ours more - so I'm hopeful but putting all my effort into YT as seeing a lot more posistive feedback here thank on Google search. Will stay in the game as long as we can! thanks for your support.
What do you think is the best to remove mold spores from the air? We have had some penicillium in the air since fixing the issue and I’d like to filter it out. Thank you!!
Depends on the layout of your home but I like larger devices for hall/open areas and then individual for each room. Even the largest of devices won't be able to clean outside of doors/walls. There are systems that can work with your existing HVAC system but I don't know too much about them and they can cost a lot.
I see you have the QT3 and the Westinghouse portable filters behind you! Could you please do a review of mini portable/desktop filters like these? Maybe include the levoit pure enrichment? I have been struggling to find information on these smaller filters and I would love some data to help me decide which ones to invest in or what each one would be best to use for (public transportation, sitting on your desk in the office, on a table at a restaurant for some minimal mitigation, etc) (you may have already but so far haven’t found it on your playlists - thank you for all your content it has been amazing!)
Sorry I thought I replied but it never sent! It’s surprising as they are fairly simple devices but the multiple marketing messages out there make it confusing to anyone. Let me know when you need and I’m happy help you choose.
Hi! With your knowledge, can you please tell me if this air purifier is Ozone Free or not it’s the Russell Hobbs RHAP1001B. It states on Amazon (UK) it’s Ozone free, it even has it in the title but i’m sceptical. I tried to look for the product on other websites but couldn’t find if it’s actually Ozone free or not. Thanks in advance.
It doesn't look like it has any ionizer so there wouldn't be any risk of ozone. But looking at the CADR score of 80m3h/47 cfm it just seems very low for that price point. I would suggest considering the Levoit Core 300 which has a CADR of 219m3h/129 cfm and is currently £84.99 on Amazon.co.uk as it will be much more effective at removing particles from the air.

Any particle filter like hepa will deal with this. Just make sure you get a big enough cadr for your room size , you want 4.8 air changes per hour.
Let me know you room size and I can make some recommendations.
Is it better to get 1 small air purifer per room, or just get a bigger one per floor, or should i just get one super high cfm one for the whole house?

Glad the A231 is working out out for you. Thanks for your kind words and I have lots more videos I want to make!

Yes, I have plans to cover a few different portable devices, so I will make sure to do this video soon. Thanks for sharing this idea!
This is very interested & informative, I didn't realise how much you need to know before buying one, I will wait for reply before i buy one
