I do costuming for plays (church group). Can the Ditto do the same pattern in different sizes, like for different actors wearing the same costume? Thank you.
As long as it is a Ditto pattern, yes, you can do that. At this time you cannot load your own patterns into the system so you would need to work with one available within the program. That might change down the road but for now, that is how it works. If you live locally you should stop by a Quality Sewing store to test drive the ditto for yourself as we would love to show you how it works!
Can you ise Ditto for appliqué for quilts.
Currently, the ditto program contains patterns for clothing. They might add other things down the road but for now, those are the patterns that are available.
I don't buy from any of the pattern companies that I've seen for Ditto. What do you do with that.
At this time, the ditto only works with the patterns in their app. They are constantly adding new patterns and designers.
What do you do about marking your pieces?
Marking is so easy! Since the pattern and all the markings are projected onto the fabric, just mark any needed marks.
Once cut out, clip any notches.
Transfer the marks to the bottom fabric layer is actually easier than it would be with a paper pattern.
- remove the top layer and mark the bottom piece.
- if marks need to be on the reverse side of the bottom piece, simply flip the pattern piece in the ditto app and then align the cut piece and then draw the marks where needed
I purchased the Ditto can you tell me how I can get the 3 month free pattern subscription, I scanned the QR code which was included with the Ditto. This took me to the App Store. downloaded the app went to plan to subscribe to the pattern library, but was asked for a coupon or a code which was supposed to be on the Ditto box. The only thing on the box is a bar code which isn’t excepted. No response from Ditto online. Please help
The app goes through the Ditto company and their site says to scan the QR code to get the free trial. You can find more info on their FAQ page. There is also a contact us on the page so you can reach out to them. support.dittopatterns.com/en/articles/8688083-subscription-faq
Unfortunately, we don't have more information on the app than that. If you need help with the projector, we can help with that.
@@QualitySewingWA I appreciate your response. A Ditto rep finally contacted me. I followed the instructions as stated but for the subscription plan I was charged full price and still didn’t get the 3 months free. Thanks again for your assistance
Are their patterns expensive, and what do they look like? it work for plus size people? Thanks
Most of the Ditto brand pattersn are $12.99 each . The size range is 0 - 28 for most patterns.

I can buy a lot of patterns for $799!
You can,, but you will have to cut them out, make adjustments as needed and then store them. With Ditto, patterns are stored digitally and you can get a custom pattern ready to cut out in a fraction of the time. 😀

@@cleanqueen75 ....Absolutely! Sewing is like a morning cup of joe', it's to be savored and enjoyed not rushed. Plus there is something therapeutic about sewing that introducing too many electronic devices take away from the experience. Cute, clever, ut it's a no for me.

I almost thought this Machine was a good idea when I saw it on the Joann site. But in fact it is not. I have been sewing for over 30 years and I have many patterns. I thought that I would be able to put my pattern in there and resize it because I'm so for many different people in many different sizes. So this actually does not work. Why would I want to buy $12.95 patterns when I have a boat? Load of patterns already that just needs to be re adjusted. Thank you but no thanks.
