We had a whale watching experience in Okinawa in mid 1990s. Rough water. Much seasickness (thank goodness for plastic trash bags). But, I did get to say ‘Thar she blows!’ (someone had to say it).

Too bad you ran into bad weather. I went whale watching at Tadoussac 33 years ago, and it was wonderful! I've always wanted to go back, but never found the time. Was this filmed aound July 1st? I was camping on the South Shore, near Rimouski, and it did rain one night, and I heard that in the Charlevoix there were very violent storms and hail.

Dude, whale watching out of Boston or the Cape. What is wrong with you? Big boats, plenty of whales. Up close and personal, breeching, mouths wide open, almost close enough to touch them. and if anyone ever finds a role of film in one of those things, it is mine. Sadly some of the best pictures ever. P.S. I hope you got your money back.
SUCH A TINY BOAT! AND I DONT KNOW IF THEY WERE TALKING ABOUT A BABY ON THE BEACH SINCE I CERTAINLY DID NOT SEE A BABY WHALE. WHALE WATCH OUT OF GLOUCESTER AND YOU SEE SO MANY WHALES YOU ARE ALMOST SICK OF THEM BY THE END OF THE RIDE.

Whale watching off of the South Cali area coast may be a better bet? Newport Beach/Laguna or maybe off of Catalina Island? Groupon has deals.

You do know they have whale watching in Florida ... and it's warm there. Probably cheaper too
