His career ended out of nowhere, one minute I'm watching him wrestling in the summer of 1993, he disappears for a while then by march of 1994 he's a manager

@@jasonhuntley4203 They're glorified stunt men. Like any high risk stunts, there's high probability of injury. Wrestling is still completely scripted and choreographed.
@@David_R922 i kno but i hve been watching it since i was a kid like 5-6 yrs old i'm almost 43 it sucks completly now but back in the day before all the secrets got out.. it still meant somethng ofc its scripted {their all friends, like family} and all they do get hurt if the moves arn't performed right ofc but thats why they call it "sports entertainment" god bless...

Ted is one of the best wrestlers. He wrestled before my time but i would watch videos of his matches

I saw him 12yrs ago. From Arlington to Dallas. He was my 3rd favorite westler.
I saw him once at a Houston airport in 1988. I was 12 and made eye contact with him, but didn't dare go up and say hello. I was too afraid and thought his ring attitude was real haha Love ya Ted! Wish I would have said hi!

I love these interviews. You two really seem to get on too. It’s nice to see. This is the most interesting wrestling show out there.
I loved his promos sure he still go to wrestle shows
When Ted went off wwf tv and he didn't show up in WCW (I saw both TVs) my parents said he went out west.
I'm always surprised to hear people from the US saying they didn't have access to one or the other.
Even in Germany I could watch both WCW and WWF shows including all PPVs on free tv.
Only downside was that broadcast was around 4 weeks behind. Then again, nobody had internet in the early to mid 90s, so it didn't really matter, no spoilers to be found
My dad had that same surgery. It messed him up good.
I always wondered what happened. He quietly just stopped wrestling and was suddenly a commentator and then a manager.
Good to hear about it. He was an amazingly talented wrestler and and I wish him all the best.

Getting tired of this God grace of God etc that has nothing to do with anything you and whomever make things happen no boggie man has anything to do with it. As far as his injury he was in an active sport wear and tear things happen Ted was probably going to retire soon anyway and he went on to other interests simple as that.

God is part of everything. He can make you sick....make you well....make a situation understood...make a sunny day cloudy. He can allow something to happen ....and he can fix stuff. He's the boss.
