  • There is always an adventure to be had when traveling to a different country. Language barrier, exchange rates, cultural norms, customs, driving etiquette, line-up protocols, and making friends and sometimes unintentionally making enemies with some of the local guys/gals.
On this one we had just the right amount of adventure and to top it off the waves were good most days, but the paddle outs longer than a handful of football fields.
Big Al (Alan Adams) shared some thoughts on what surfing has been for him over the past 50 years or so. And shared a little bit about his buddy Rick Heinemeyer who joined him in the line-up. Both of these guys have been surfing for more than a century combined and they continue to keep the stoke high, wave after wave. Makes you wonder how may waves you can catch in a lifetime?

Special thanks to Kevin Moyer who helped plan and organize our trip. And for providing camera assistance.

Thanks Kurt. We should think about making a travel surf film in your neck of the woods.

Great video - looks like too much fun! Where’s the shots of Cody? You guys killed it, so happy for you to make the effort and take the time to take this adventure!

Thanks Dan! Cody was behind the lens. Yeah you are right, glad we took the time to film while we are there. When the camera man surfs too, its hard to justify staying on the beach and running the camera. It is all worth it in the end.
