We like to refer to our little group as the Committee. We are a loose band of westerners with many backgrounds, styles, and definitions of what it means to be "western". Some of us rodeo, others climb and fish, skateboard, run rivers, hunt, ski, backpack, farm, ranch, play music, howl at the mountains, and we all love travel and adventure.
We originate from Montana, America and somehow we all ended up making clothes and gear, far from any of our minds growing up. Now it has become a passion. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our products, love of adventure, and western style with you.

Introducing the Shonkin Jacket - Insulated With Lavalon Wool
Переглядів 1494 місяці тому

Lavalon wool is made from a blend of Virgin Wool (82%) and Polylactide (18%). Polylactide (PLA) is a corn based, biodegradable fiber, that makes the wool stronger and more durable. Chisholm admits, "All of them figured out a way to ...
Traditional Cattle Branding In Central Montana - Waid Ranch est. 1897
Переглядів 158 тис.6 місяців тому
Not all traditions are dead, there are some are worth preserving. The Waid Ranch branded its first animal in 1897. Since then thousands of cattle were raised and sold. In the old days the cattle were driven down to the railyard and sent off to the slaughter. The Brand was the mark of ownership. Without a brand a rancher could not prove he was selling his cattle or his neighbors. Today the brand...

New York's Garment District Still Carries the Torch - Clothes Made in the USA
Love your videos! I’d love to connect-I built RanchWorkUSA, a free platform connecting ranch hands and agricultural workers with farmers. If you're open to it, I'd love your feedback!
I can't imagine living with the people who are also my employers 24/7 if you make a mistake step you have to own it, asking a child at fourteen, to take over a operation and make sound judgments .has to be the toughest position a family has to go threw
Made in China.... this needs to stop, bring it back home Smith & Rouge Montana USA
Don't let the environmentalist tell you lies. 100 years ago there was millions of buffaloes. Now we have a fraction of that number in cows they are not hurting the environment they are helping.
His song Bloodline is awesome!
Ranchers are the group that appear among the professions with the highest suicidal rates in the US. And these are the people that feed the world. They provide what can arguably be describe as the most important service mankind relies on. These people have to sacrifice themselves on a daily basis for that. And they do not get the acknowledgment they deserve. And yet, western society continues to make stupid, egotistical and shallow people rich. We are at a point where it’s time for us to reevaluate our priorities and values.
"Bloodline" is truly a deep and sentimental song...you definitely don't have to be Alan Jackson or Kenny Rogers to write a legendary song.
Why do they drag the calves and sort of step on them and cover them?
You think the animal is going to stay still getting a hot piece of metal on its ass lol come on now
@ well is good to hold em and comfort them
What type of goat is it?
Love the content. Peace from Alberta.
Liked your song.

I have worked at Massey university in New Zealand. Working hard on reducing emissions.

Love It ❤
How does it compare to Egyptian cotton?
Its very similar.
What beautiful country you all live in...
The song "Bloodline" needs to be on spotify. Chisholm can sing and should not give up on his side job as it could potentially make him some serious money if it isnt already.
I love ranching. I grew up on a ranch in Buffalo Montana.
Outstanding!
So called “plant based” or printed meat is disgusting! Best meat is real cattle raised by hard working families. Everyone I know is a real carnivore!
Respect!
AMERICANWEST BEEF 🍽 😘
wonderful. no bullcrap of the corporate world. loved this.
“501k” love that
Where do ya'll get your packs?
People don't realize where their meat comes from and how. From a member of a Turkish farmer family to every rancher and farmer in the world, thanks for doing this.
Thank all of you for making this World better!
God bless you and your family
god bless you guys
Excellent cinematography and great story told. One of the biggest reasons I am moving again is to get closer to nature. Real nature, like this.
I love your videos.so cute.
I would have loved to been able to live a life like this. It is hard work but I wanted to do something like this since I was a kid. I wound up joining the Marine Corps in 1970 and I served for 30 years. But I read about the art of being a cowboy. I thought I knew how to ride a horse but these people make it an art. Great video!! Thanks for sharing it with us.👍🥹🙏💯🐎🐎
Great documentary but please lower your prices. An average flannel for 50 dollars is ridiculous.
Hello from Holland, I have two little goats too. I wonder how you made the saddles en tirering belts. I love your adventure with your goats. Greetings Jan
Phenomenal video! You folks are incredible!! Ranching has been my life long dream. I come from farming and livestock country. I've always understood that it's not glamorous and it's lots of hard work and uncertainty. Keep up the great work! God is good!
Ranching is hard work, but the most rewarding
Even people that eat beef don’t appreciate the work and effort that goes into raising cattle. I want to say thank you to all of the people that raise cattle and I appreciate the work you do.
I am a young Frenchman from the countryside. I'm not a farmer's son, and there's no ranch here, but I grew up in the country and those are my roots. I must admit that I discovered the ranching life thanks to Yellowstone, but the simplicity and authenticity of this way of life is very dear to me. I envy your freedom, the freedom to do what you love. Here in France, you can't have your own land. Even if you buy it, it will always belong to the state. Whether you're a landlord, a farmer, or whatever you want and you can’t do what you want on it. I dream of a simple life like yours, even though I know it's hard. Nothing is more authentic, nothing is truer than to have your own land, to work it, whether as a farmer or a rancher, and to support your family or the country. I envy you and I hope that God will give me the opportunity one day to live a life like I want to live, with its ups and downs, but simple and authentic like yours. Thank you for what you are doing in your life. God bless you and your family
save money and move to Nicaragua. here you can buy 40 acres for 60K with rivers crossing the property. And also cattle starting $800 a heifer. think about it. Im a rancher here and its a great business. workers earn $200 A MONTH .
I’m glad the T-bones not going anywhere
I am glad to hear this young rancher views of ranching and climate change. Unlike others who climate crisis deniers. Congratulations.
My Mom's family homesteaded in eastern Oregon in 1903 and my uncles were still ranching when I was growing up. So even though I never lived on the ranch, I've herded cattle on horseback, milked cows, branded calves and fed hay off a horse drawn wagon in January. It's the hardest work I've ever done. However, we ought not to perpetuate the romantic mythology about ranching in the American West. Homesteaders were able to get land because the US government conducted a century long campaign of genocide against American Indians. Let's not sugar coat that reality. Also, it's intellectually dishonest to ignore the cost paid for raising food this way. These folks work their butts off, it's true, but they couldn't survive without the ag subsidies and public lands to graze. Those are public resources they depend on, from the government and all taxpayers. Unfortunately, decades of overgrazing and heedlessness in ag waste management have resulted in severe habitat loss, damage to water ways and pollution. So, yes let's appreciate the folks who produce our food, but not ignore the social and environmental costs that go with it.
Is it law in Montana that all the kids names have to start with the same letter, because it’s fuckin weird
Большое уважение к Вам и Вашей Семье из РОССИИ!!! 💪😎👍
