That’s actually not the worst, just try to turn that into learning to whiff punish on reaction… people tend to be very impatient in this game so you can turn that toxicity into a strength

@@jayythechosen again, a lot of people do that, I do it, especially with Hwo we didn’t have a panic rage art last game. So it’s awesome, but like with b3 try to turn that into a strength on whiff rather than a panic tool that can be reacted to by my dead grandma.

Thanks man, yeah he seems like a good dude n very informative n I maybe would’ve came up with this at some point on my own but it was watching some of his videos that really lit the spark for it so I couldn’t leave that one be.

@@swankygamez69420 naw It’s all good 👍. I just find it funny because in the orange ranks using those moves pushed me up into Garyu. Now I’m realizing my gameplan is too much D3,4. Which makes it easier for my opponent to catch on and make a guess to catch up in damage cause it’s just constant 17 dmg I’m doing.

just got this game, glad i found this channel, hwoarang was my favorite to play in tekken 3 so i chose him as my main, its funny the 4,4,4,4 string is the first one you learn in practice mode so i figured every new player probably spams it, trying to learn how to really play this character and your channel is helping a lot

N maybe it’s cuz I’m more experienced but I see them n my brain just shuts off cuz I no longer have to think anymore. It’s frustrating. But I’ll take free wins. lol

(I did this so much in T7, It's fun abusing it when the opponent does not have Hwo experience) As for current ME, As soon as I see 1,1~ It's like a macro in my arm, And I have a grin if they finish the string lmao ifykyk)
@@Rome_ForeiignSSE Yeah, but i don't see that one nearly as much... never in those matches but you are correct, come people abuse them like there's any kind of a mix up there... I love doing the 1,1 on it's own but yeah, the whole string's usually a no no

You really need to be unpredictable at higher ranks. Everyone knows the matchup, and sidesteps what you think are your dangerous tools. I throw out downforward 4 to train them that sidestepping will get smacked.

just got to fujin and a big part of it was almost always going for mid mix ups on d3,4 and JSFR helped so much. After heat engage it's a 50;/50 d3,4 or jsfr and you get so much reward with no risk basically

On heat eng. I found good to do is uf 3,4 rf d 4,3,4 it works on red ranks 90%
it's good that it works in red ranks but if you keep doing and relying on that eventually you'll find it harder to break those bad habits. so keep that in mind
Any plans on advanced combo guide? Esp interesting to see someone explaining that Korean combo like "b3-u3-Lfs2-rff3-4-u44-finishers
I can do one for sure. That wouldn’t be too hard but I have done combo guides where I’ve went from easy combos n built up to more difficult combos so it’d just be its own separate thing.

I just showed you like,,, 4-5 different things,,, (he says jokingly XD), df4, b3, 1, d3, d4, there’s also 3~4, uf3, f3, f4, but that’s a high but also an 8f start up rather that the 13f jab everyone does. What do you mean??? Like pressure? I have 2 1 hour videos that cover pressure & ideas to learn if that’s what you’re looking for as well

Any tips on doing jfsr from LFF?i find that jfsr is much easier to do in rff eventhough the input and timing is the same

This video needed to be longer. Gotta sprinkle some knowledge berries about punishment follow up pressure. 1,2 into flamingo. 4,3 into delayed SS+4 etc..
But none of that was what this video was about, it was about pointing out bad habits n alternatives

rfs into 34 is also a good mid now in this patch. feels like homing and safe, used it a lot. might just be my default autopilot option
That’s a very good option, especially if you learn the JF version but even without it, mid/mid… only -3 I see no issues with that autopilot or anything.
I do uf 3,4 after heat engager and now im plus on block in right flamingo... i either do a f4,4 ch or df 4 ch launch or even d3,3 for the low option.
That’s decent but just remember that all those options can be beaten by a crouch jab cuz you’re only +2 in RFS. It’s not terrible but it’s not the best either.
So your saying its not a true 50/50 because your opponent can option select with down jab? @swankygamez69420
@@TheMetalInsideUsAll yes & no, it’s true that all those options can be beat with a crouch jab, but now the true 50/50 comes from either f4, or uf4. Cuz the uf4 will low crush. Main issue there is your taking all those + frames & putting yourself in that situation n all they have to do is block n they can even punish the uf4 if they just stand there. A better option would be ff3, is +6 on block, leaves you in rff, between that & d3,4 where you’re back at rfs like before but if you hit them you’re at +14 rather than just +2 on a blocked hunting hawk, chances are if they block low they’ll go for a low parry either way so it becomes an in interruptible 50/50 where even if you’re blocked it’s still your turn

@@TheMetalInsideUsAll I mean don’t get me wrong… so few Hwoarang players do that, that you could probably get away with it for a while, but once you get into the higher ranks or deal with different opponents that won’t matter n it’s better to knock a… I wouldn’t say bad habit, but am ideal situation either. It might be okay to have that in your back pocket though
I'm trying to see speed kick video to start practicing my hwoarang since I haven't touched hem since tekken tag 2 I'm not bad with hem but there is a lot of things I need to learn since I'm tekken king with mu victor so I want to try different characters now being thinking off getting a arcade stick but don't know

Swanky what're your staple b3 and jfsr combos?
B3, F4, 3~4, UF3+4f, UF4 then ender which is whatever I feel in the moment, JFSR, Backlash, dash u3, 2, UF3+4F, UF4, Ender.

Every bad string you showed is exactly what i do to my hwoarang. I practiced that 44 move and how to cancel it but that only happens in lab in live match i still do it. God help me
you just have to practice it until you can basically do it in your sleep. But if you're trying it you got this, you're trying to improve so you'll get there

@swankygamez69420 yeah, there's just less mistakes than there are knowledge checks and frame advantages. As a hwo main, it's extra sweaty. People know the match up, and i gotta resort to fundies, if which hwo isn't the best with. But doable. End up playing the keep out game and little pokes, back into neutral.
It's a big change lol as i was climbing i could flow chart quite a bit, but have dialed back on that a heck of a lot, just to compete with them.

Running 3 leaves you in +6… I got confused cuz the dummy did the move n I looked at the frame data on screen. Cuz it reflected my frame data not the computer’s.

I like 44F, but I feel like it should be +frames instead of being minus 2 frames (irrc) since you're going into flamingo.ive been jabbed out of stance so many times by mashers before i can even do a jab after .lol
That’s why you have to create the mix up,,, plus when you’re at -2 you have access to f4 which is an 8f start up

I plan to remake all my videos so they’re cleaner, shorter, & overall easier to follow. I do appreciate the feedback n hope to do these videos better Justice in the future
