Hello fellow Gamerz, my name is Swank & I’m predominately a Tekken player & more recently a content creator. I love playing gamez as well such as Yakuza, Final Fantasy, Metal Gear & many other gamez. As of now, I’m currently a Hwoarang main sitting at Kishin. I love trying to improve myself & helping others to improve. My short term goal is to make as much content covering all the characters for Tekken 8 so that there’s something anyone can learn regardless of their mains, as well as ranking up to the higher purple ranks/gold ranks & be able to hold my own. My end goal is to help as many people gain the ability to make it to those higher ranks as well & to eventually make my way to Tekken God whatever the highest rank is XD. This is really simple advice but you called me out so hard. I couldn’t figure out why I could always win one round or game and then id lose the rest. Trying to be more unpredictable seems obvious but actually trying to do it takes some thought going on autopilot and just throwing stuff out obviously isn’t going to work but we do it anyway. No lie I went on a 5 game win streak after this video

I actually figured out the flamingo grab on accident maddd long ago and been loving it ever since. It catches ALMOST everyone off guard if you dont flash duck ur toast !

Hi! I'm extremely new to Hwo, but i hit Tekken King with Paul. Is this guide still relevant for the latest patch? I'm assuming it is but just want to make sure. I used to hate Hwo but my god i have a new found respect for Hwo players, this dude is hard as hell to play.
@@Dunkaholic18 for the most part. I think I mention his df3,4 PC which is different now at-14, but otherwise everything’s the same

I’ve watched a ton of replays from a ton of different whars an u the first I ever seen use the i14 flying kicks as a punish like in Punishment training 💯💯
@@Mailman037 I mean it’s +9 on hit. The frames allow for more opportunities to get bigger damage or just to mess with my opponent.

I just started playing this game maybe twoish months ago and hwoarang was my go to character. he doesn’t seem as beginner friendly as i initially thought but i’ve been having the best time playing him & this video was so helpful. i started watching replays and realized i do exactly what you were saying about always going for block strings & my mix ups and defense needs work but im gonna take all of the info i got from here and go crazy. ty for the great video! can’t wait for more

Haven't played Hwo since he was Baek. Started two days ago, and this is one of the best guides. F34 f3~4 has been bugging me because you're the only one that explained how to do it. The notations don't look the same on a lot of guides, really love this vid.

If you pay attention there’s some anti Hwo stuff in most of my videos… but I do plan to make an anti Hwo guide eventually so keep your eyes peeled.

Swangky, how to deal opponent who is literally faster? Like Steve. It's hard for me to hit once Steve start his string at me, hard to find the gap in between. The only one I could find to hit him in between is a left jab.
If you learn the match up it makes things easier but one thing is, even though Steve is arguably faster, he doesn’t get an easy Launch punish, it takes him like 20f before he can consider it, so sometimes you can try something unsafe & there’s only so much he’ll get from it as long as you don’t keep doing it

I did briefly say in here but -2 is great -4 you’ll probably be fine if you side Step to the weak side or if the move you’re stepping has no tracking & -6 you probably won’t be able to side Step unless they do something kinda slow
@@swankygamez69420 so below -5 is sidestep able and any above those frame is not.okay noted thank you
@@KojiroSasaki21 keep in mind that it can also depend on the move… some moves track well, others track a lot to one side. So part of it is knowing where to step, or just give it a shot & see if it works

I saw, but I promise it’s not as bad as it looks. The only real need is to his df3,4. And as long as you’re not predictable with it it should be easier to figure out
just got this game, glad i found this channel, hwoarang was my favorite to play in tekken 3 so i chose him as my main, its funny the 4,4,4,4 string is the first one you learn in practice mode so i figured every new player probably spams it, trying to learn how to really play this character and your channel is helping a lot

Do either of these moves have different frame data, or is it just more damage?
Blue sparks version for both gives better frames & damage but Flying eagle gives more damage while lightning halberd gives more frames.
