I have one. I actually really like it. Deployment is smooth and opens every time with the flipper. The thumb disk is a bit slippery, so it's not my preferred method of deployment.

I didn't particularly like the thumb stud style that you have and chose the Swiss Tech 7" Assisted Flipper Pocket Knife, AUS-8 Steel 3" Blade, 4" Aluminum Handle, Multi-color model instead for $10 less on sale! More unique in my opinion. Maybe not for everyone but I love it.

This was my first knife purchase I still carry it every day to work because I don’t care to beat it up plus i practice my sharpening on it overall it’s a pretty good knife although it definitely has it’s shortcomings I give it a solid 6/10 I think it would be far better in the 20$ range though it’s a pretty good beginner budget knife though and you aren’t gonna be afraid you use it hard it’s far better once you take that junk clip off that keeps coming loose

Why in the world would want to take the clip off. The clip is on the knife for a reason.

I of just purchased one also they do a multi tool so I purchased one of those I think they're very good for the money and also you're absolutely spot on about the super steels even though I have a few of them I can sharpen Oz 8 and 440c and many other Steels buy sharpening 400 one side 600 the other 600 one side 800 the other and they will last as long as many other super Steel even sometimes better depending what degrees you use 15° 17 degree angle and many others and that is all by Ant sharpening but I've just got a Ken onion sharpener and I can sharpen a knife to a Razors Edge within 5 minutes and they are a popping Sharp that good I can split an air I hope this helps give it a go anyway thumbs up I'm sorry for writing a novel

So I was looking up reviews for this knife because I need to replace a daily beater I lost and I come across this channel. If I understand correctly you specialize in reviewing gas station and mall ninja knives? That is actually an amazing concept for a channel. Keep up the good work.

That is correct! I try to stay objective while working within the context that “none of these are good really…but let’s see what they have to offer, judgement-free”. Enjoy

@@JJJinks yeah some of my favorite knives i have are gas station knives or something i got from like a giftshop in some national park and they hold a lot of sentimental value for me since i got them wehile on road trips with some of my oldest friends so theyre never goping to see hard use anyway

Can you suggest an inexpensive sharpener that works well for this blade?

Do you have any that you like better than the Swiss Tech for under $35 ?

Great question! I do, but many of them I bought 5+ years ago, so it’s unfair to compare with contemporary prices. I got a Spyderco tenacious for around that, and a couple of Honey Badger knives around there too. I’m also on the fence on comparing a retail price to sale prices, but I have a plethora of Kizer knives for less than that price I think are great, and I recently picked up a QSP Penguin with carbon fiber scales for $30. All being said, it’s tough to beat the Swisstech.
