vinyl film comes in many designs and just sticks to the glass with water. I recently got rid of the blinds in our bathroom and added film. So much cleaner and if you pick the right design, no one can see in from the outside. Good luck! Love the dresser transformation!
I love the arches! It makes this dresser look so high end. As for the little window...maybe remove the curtain and place a patterned window cling so you can't see in. Then place a cute faux potted plant.
I love the dresser! Since you are doing a Japandi style, you could make small shoji screens for the windows. I think it would look a lot more elevated than another curtain or blinds.
Hope you had the best birthday, Tina 😍 (despite the rain) The dresser turned out so prettyyyy and it has arches again I’m dying 😍 Can’t wait to see the rest of the room makeover! 🤩💜
I agree with a couple of commenters - use window cling. So easy! And there are so many options; Lowe's and Home Depot carries as well as Amazon (as if that's a surprise!!). So many pretty designs. And a beautiful, yet faux, hanging, flowing potted plant. Sweet pea, pothos, inpatients, anything with color. The arches really elevated the dresser! Who would know this was from IKEA,? Maybe a nice funky mirror on wall above the dresser or!! One of your beautiful prints??!!!! HAPPIEST! TINA! Hope it is the best ever!!!
Love that!! ❤ We have a basement room, and I did that kind of window cling or window contact paper that let's light in but provides privacy. It makes for a much cleaner look too, and our windows have a ledge big enough for a little trailing plant. 😊
Hi Tina. Since you love cutting arches, I remember seeing this on Danie’s channel. They make a circle cutting jig for your router, similar to your DIY compass. Instead of the pencil in that hole, you would attach the router to cut a perfect circle. Danie went at it in different passes for different depths until the board is cut through. You do a lot of arched I thought this might help to get THE perfect arch, that would be more finessed. 😅
For the tiny window you should try one of those peel and stick window clings that looks like stained glass or the textured ones to let light in but keep the privacy!
Privacy window film would be great to replace the curtain. It will allow light to enter the room and provide the privacy so you cant see through from the outside. Love the dresser! I have the exact one and will think about doing something similar.
Thank you for showing your process! I have malm dressers and Billy bookcases I’ve been wanting to put legs on and I’ve been trying to figure out the best way to do it. The frame you built and attached the legs to is a perfect solution. Thank you again! Can’t wait to see the rest of this makeover journey!
Wow Tina! I love it!!!❤❤❤ It looks marvelous. You have done lot's of Ikea hack's but I'm really excited about this one and how last weeks tables are vibing with this one. I can't wait to see what you do with the room.
What if for the tiny window you get rid of the curtain and rod and replace it with a diy Japanese style decorative screen that’s light filtering? Like a shoji screen? Would be super cute for the Japandi style theme
You make it look easy😅I would definitely try something like that. I love the Asian inspiration you going for. I can’t wait to see what’s next. You always surprise me.
You did awesome with that dresser!! It sure does look high end. Maybe a mirror that also has an arch at the top. Which furniture piece are you going to do next? I just loved your birthday pictures with your friends. A painting party looked so much fun!! I think I want to do that for my next birthday.
this hack is brilliant! i love that you are doing a 'nothing new' challenge for the room...totally can be done :) i remember the Vietnamese coming to America and some staying at our home during a holiday and becoming pen pals w/ me as a young teen- yes i am old LOL
I watched this, and I am pleased with your results ☺️. Then I went and finished the previous video: I really liked the two art pieces, and odd/ go together nightstands.
Oh goodness Tina, that dresser makeover turned out incredible and I think it made it look brand new and so stylish, I really love that arch and your thoughts on making it Japandi. That tiny window I would remove that curtain and like that other person mentioned put a vinyl design or a window cling and then a faux plant to really give it a cool look. You are just so great at these transformations and I have really loved seeing all of your videos, and I am super happy that I subscribed to your channel. I am wishing you and your sweet husband a fabulous 4th of July tomorrow. Sending love and hugs, bye! 🥰😍👋🙏👍🌹🧨✨🎉⛩💜
I think instead of a curtain for that small window, maybe putting some frosted window cling so that it still lets light in but obscures the outside/inside?
I love the arches in the dresser. Cool idea. I might try that on a dresser that I have that’s similar, but not IKEA. And I will give Brian credit for trying to help paint. Looks like he wants to learn.
Hello I just found your channel! You do great work, I love your content! I want to try to add legs to my malm dresser, would you happen to have the measurements for the base? Also what kind of wood did you use? Thank you for the video! 😊
What about some foil on the window, instead of curtains? Maybe there is something that looks like stained glass .. that would bring some color into the room
My friends just lost their house and have so much furniture theyre leaving behind. Its a shame youre not closer to Elgin. There's a lot of beautiful pieces that just need some love
My family recently moved to Texas and we are so close to an IKEA now! It’s honestly so dangerous for me 😅 also, where is that green and white swirl tank top from?? So cute! I love those colors
I wonder if this is the same malm dresser that got recalled? We had one in our house, called Ikea and they picked it up for us for free and gave us a refund of the $ amount it was around the time so we got a $250 gift card to ikea from a hand me down.

Happy birthday 🎉🎈🎂🎁🎊
Happy Birthday. Yes Brian I agree Tina is so talented ❤
Better than new, it's one of a kind!!
Happy happy birthday! 🎉❤
I LOVE your “nothing new/secondhand approach!! I hope it continues!!

The dresser turned out very well.
You keep getting better and better. Fun to watch your hubby learn also.

Love how you are taking your time and showing us the design process each video. Hurray for thrifting!
There are all sorts of window films that are easy to install, would give privacy without blocking the light and possible add texture to the space.
Tina, you never disappoint with your furniture flips… I luv it!! 🧡🤩
I really do love how you always bring new life into old pieces! This was a good one! Also, happy belated birthday, Tina!!! 😍❤️
You should do DIY/faux stained glass in the window!!

Love the hack. The look is so elevated! You have such a wonderful artistic eye. Look forward to the next video

Dresser looks so pretty🎉😊Privacy film for the Window and that's it
The dresser looks so good! Such a simple idea really elevated it. Love the colour you chose. Your videos are inspiring😁
Wow Tina! I love it!!!❤❤❤ It looks marvelous. You have done lot's of Ikea hack's but I'm really excited about this one and how last weeks tables are vibing with this one. I can't wait to see what you do with the room.
Oh wow Tina ! What a beautiful transformation ! You took it from drab to fabulous ! Can’t wait for the room makeover ! You are so talented !
How perfect the two nightstands fits now!?! Totally impressed by your work and looove the Art!
What if for the tiny window you get rid of the curtain and rod and replace it with a diy Japanese style decorative screen that’s light filtering? Like a shoji screen? Would be super cute for the Japandi style theme
Great job on the dresser. Can’t wait to see what you do with the room 😊❤
The dessert looks great! Looking forward to the rest of the makeover!
Wow! It’s gorgeous!
That mirror they have is so cute
WOW!! I love that idea. I think I might do that.
Really looks different. Looks great. Glad you painted the new legs.
Looks so good!! I really like this paint color too! 🙌🏽
turned out very nice .... love it

i know its a basement so you gotta keep it bright but i do hope you do a dark paint feature wall down there to contrast the beautiful dresser!
Maybe some faux stained glass in the window? Not sure that's in keeping with the Japandi theme but I'm sure you could weave your magic!
That dresser is stunning 😍😍😍 you are so inspiring!
I love it! I can’t wait to see the room transformation!
Amazing as usual, love your channel Tina😊
Love the transformation 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. What about the film that lets in light and skip a curtain 🤷🏻♀️
Maybe try adding standard sized curtains to the floor and do the same thing on the oppostie side to make it look like two matching windows!
Oh goodness Tina, that dresser makeover turned out incredible and I think it made it look brand new and so stylish, I really love that arch and your thoughts on making it Japandi. It looks great!
Simply stunning!
Oh that's so nice!
Wow turned out great❤😊
You could add a panel light below the existing window and cover ist with a sheer simple long curtain. So that it looks like a bigger window.
The window would be a good spot for a macrame plant holder that attaches to the ceiling
I would put decorative film on the window. That would help let light in but no one could see inside. Dresser is great, but everything you do is!
Realy a beautiful transformation 👏👏👏
I think instead of a curtain for that small window, maybe putting some frosted window cling so that it still lets light in but obscures the outside/inside?
Awesome job Tina.
looks soooo nice!!!
You Always do such a great job!! Nothing surprises me on what do so perfect, Take care !! 😊❤ Love your videos ,you inspire me !! Thank you!!
I love the arches in the dresser. Cool idea. I might try that on a dresser that I have that’s similar, but not IKEA. And I will give Brian credit for trying to help paint. Looks like he wants to learn.
U DID AM AMAZING JOB ON THAT DRESSER..LOOK FOWARD TO SEEING UR NEXT VIDEOS...😉
Ahh I can’t wait for the full room transformation 😍🤩🎉🤗💕✨💖
The window just needs some privacy film and faux or low maintenance plant
For the window use a decorative window film for privacy and sunlight
It looks amazing
that looks amazing!!!!! great job!!!
Really good!!! I may try it
I suggest you replace the curtains, on the tiny window, with simple paper blinds. They are inexpensive and very easy to trim to fit that tiny window.
What sofa do you have? It looks super comfy.

Beautiful!
My friends just lost their house and have so much furniture theyre leaving behind. Its a shame youre not closer to Elgin. There's a lot of beautiful pieces that just need some love
I would craft a quilt cover for outdated brass headboard & footboard.
I think if you could somehow connect the drawers at the side pieces and in the middle it would look even better
My family recently moved to Texas and we are so close to an IKEA now! It’s honestly so dangerous for me 😅 also, where is that green and white swirl tank top from?? So cute! I love those colors
I'm surprised you didn't take that commission that sounds like it could have been fun and possibly a few videos
Amazing!
Could you do no curtain and just do a window film or even the Elmer's glue hack.
What’s the paint color? Can you please put the link? Thanks
Dear Ikea, please start making these ❤
Looks very pretty. Nice color
What brand is your couch?
it's an empty scent/portal to add your happy scents and bring them together.
Oh no, Brian forgot his painting shirt!
Great tina.👍🇺🇸
Tina it looks great. Lose the curtain and paint the walls.
Maybe a stained glass in the window
Can I get the measurements for the legs !! Looks too easy !!
A mirror under the window ... And removing the border (You probably have that planned already. Lol)
Stain glass the window, for privacy and light.
I wonder if this is the same malm dresser that got recalled? We had one in our house, called Ikea and they picked it up for us for free and gave us a refund of the $ amount it was around the time so we got a $250 gift card to ikea from a hand me down.
❤
😊
It was on sale for 779.00
❤
nice.
🤗❤️👍🏼
👍👍👍👍👍👍💕💕💕💕💕
👍👏👏👏👏👏
Please redo all your parents house , it makes me nervous to see all this staff laying around..❤
