Just rented the Jeep Grand Wagoneer Series 3 model from Enterprise 3 weeks ago, driving from Miami, Florida to Macon, Georgia for 5 days. "I DIDN'T WANT TO GIVE IT BACK!" 😊 This vehicle has everything anyone would want. Power, luxury, roomy, technology, cargo space...... You name it! This vehicle only had 3 miles on it when we picked it up.We brought it back with 1,700. Folded up in the glove compartment, the new car sticker said 118,000 dollars! Still can't believe we were the 1st drivers of a Grand Wagoneer Series 3.. I can't afford it, but i would recommend this vehicle to any and everyone. Great review! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The one thing is doesn't have is decent fuel economy. If you can afford to buy one, then $150 fill ups is probably no big deal, but ultimately being that thirsty is a notable disadvantage, despite all the other luxurious attributes it offers. Thanks for the comment!
GC fan here, I have a WJ 99 and WK2, still waiting for a decent hybrid version (not a joke range) and I was hype about the Wagoneer S, just to find out later that is smaller than the GC. is a joke. I'm a father now and now more than ever I want a confortable car, like the GC always been, but electric, or at least hybrid with 100 miles range. and the Wagoneer S is a joke, most or none of the GC or Wagoneer lovers will ever consider the Wagoneer S, it has nothing from the essence of the brand. I just an electric random car. the GC was the most sold SUV in the US for several years. they didn't redesigned it for like 10 years (wk2) and was minor redesigns from the wk. They archived the peak of the function and design, they just needed to upgrade the technology, make it a good hybrid or full electric, why nobody can see that? And then 2 years in the future Jeep will be saying that the market is hard and they are loosing money and the can't understand why. Dodge Ram go it. they are making a ram 1500, hybrid, the v6 will just charge the batteries. No transmission or anything. And they have the full electric ones (but the range while towing will be a joke). They didnt make an stupid "modern" cheap Chinese design of the ram and put an S in it. Imagine having a Grand Wagoneer L, with the v6 recharging a battery pack that has like 200 miles range (which is not a lot with these days technology), and have like 2 or 4 motors with 600 Hp or 800. That is what the people need. The confortable American car, that can be driven like a normal car, and put gas on it, and you can charge it at home. And if you drive it less than 200 miles a day, you will be 100% electric. but if you travel, or tow, or you live in a condo or apartment without charger, you still can use it normally. Why are they making the switch to electric this bad? they just make people hate the electric cars.
The conflicting priorities it seems here are wanting something large, while also wanting something electrified or partially electrified with a large EV only range. Technology will evolve, but right now to make a Grand Wagoneer sized EV that has a usable and sellable range would require a LOT of extra weight and cost. Maye solid state batteries will offer opportunities, but this truly is a North American problem. Travel the world and families elsewhere seem to get by with smaller-sized (and not super-sized) vehicles. This is also why US automakers haven't been leading the EV race as they're still focused on building large vehicles which at present doesn't align with sustainable ones. And I'm speaking as a father of 4 who has had a Caravan (not G.C.) a Montana and then a Grand Caravan as family vehicles over the years.
Is there such a thing as a standard garage anymore? But I know it most likely wouldn't fit in my garage. I didn't try, but it would be hard to imagine.
Not sure why I keep hearing stuff about gas? I guess the people that complain about gas were all Honda or Kia owners before and their great aunt died and left them $120k and they brought a grand wagoneer to show off to the neighbors. I am a Mercedes-Benz owner of a G63 wagon and this is NOTHING close to the gas that truck takes. But I don’t buy or rent these types of cars and then complain about the gas! You can get a Jeep grand Cherokee instead so why even rent this or buy it if you going to cry about the gas? When I travel for work this is the only thing I will rent! I’m in one right now and I will do a real review on it to show why it’s worth it! I just put 62 miles on it and the gas needle has moved! I am driving it in sport mode to burn all the gas out because they must’ve put 87 octane in it because it’s very sluggish. The last two I had were not “Grand” but “L” and seemed to have a lot more power. This is my first “Grand” and so far I don’t think the extras are worth it. The sound system, power and room and comfort in the base model L is just fine. I am big on the audio system and the Grand audio system sounds very similar to the regular one just without the fancy name poking through the dash. The 22’ rims vs 20’ rims give it a bit harsher ride as well. I have only had it a day so after I run this gas out and put the 93 rating in I am hoping to feel 510 horsepower. My G63 gives me 577hp so i am looking forward to feeling that from it soon. I believe all the other models I had were 420hp but I was very impressed and that’s why I was excited to get the grand but so far I am disappointed.

Would that fit in a standard garage?
