That 6 cylinder is so quiet, but it has an insane amount of power. This is a 6,500lb SUV that really pulls hard. What a beautiful SUV, I never thought Chrysler was capable of this kind of quality, but this thing is just as nice as an Escalade.
Honestly the Grand Wagoneer is the best looking SUV I ever laid eyes on. It would literally be my daily driver. I don't see how anyone could look at this and not like it, it just screams luxury and status to me waaaaaaay more than the Escalade does. Not to mention everyone and their mom has an Escalade these days but so very rarely do I see one of these cruising around.
What's with that turning radius? I was so sure you wouldn't make it, but I'm seriously impressed. Gotta give it up for the 3.0L inline 6 for it's smooth power delivery. The design of the Jeep Grand Wagoneer suffers from the profile aspect due to the thick, body colored pillars. Designers use thin roof pillars (Lincoln Navigator) to lessen the visual impact of large vehicles, and Jeep did just the opposite! Thanks Miles.
In a vehicle this large, one or two degrees of steering angle makes a huge difference in terms of maneuverability. You isolated the stylistic issue well, Edd. The eye is drawn to the pillars instead of taking in the whole profile.
Series 1’s still have the V8s. I drove the 6.4 on Saturday. It doesn’t feel fast. I’d rather have the flatter torque curve, smoothness and efficiency of the turbo I-6.
19:28 That was your moment to mention one of the competitors that passed by, the Lincoln Navigator L passes by the Grand Wagoneer L. What a coincidence 😆 Overall, nice video Miles!
I get that the Escalade looks nice but I dont get why some people dislike the wagoneer look... they're all just big boxes so tjings like trim? Wheels, grills, and lights distinguish them more than the shake of the rear window for me. They all look nice outside but the interiors are where the differences really ring out in my opinion and I haven't heard anyone dislike the Wagoneer interior yet...
Probably going to go for the Grand Wagoneer Obsidian pack. I like the interior over the lincoln and caddie, the exterior looks good in obsidian but I couldn't do the chrome one at all. The adjustable ride height and offroadability advantage seals the deal. But a durango hellcat I'd take over all of them except for the Escalade V which is absurdly priced.
Gonna be continuing to shop these two. I have a 2020 Navigator L now in Black Label trim. I think I'm leaning Escalade ESV when they refresh it next fall mostly due to the availability of the diesel engine. I just can't get over the looks of the Grand Wagoner L as much as I want to. I like the front and don't mind the back but the side profile is tough for me to overlook. Things I like about the Grand Wagoneer - awesome cargo and third row room. I like the idea of the moon roof over the 3rd row and the large side windows back there (but that's what makes it look "bad" from the side) makes it much less claustrophobic than the Escalade in the 3rd row (small side windows). I found the seats to be comfortable and the massage feature is likely better than the Escalade (and much better than our Navigator although I heard it's improved since the refresh). The availability of Night Vision is nice as well. Features-wise for the money the Grand Wagoneer is great. Feels a touch cheap here and there to me when operating switches and closing doors, etc. For Rear Seat Entertainment the functionality is much better than Escalade (and equal to Lincoln's new Lincoln Play ... Lincoln Play was terrible when we bought ours so I avoided it). I'd love to avoid GM's as well and put in our own, but can't at the trim level I'll choose. Early reliability on the Grand Wagoneers is not great either. The Obsidian trim makes the exterior a bit more tolerable to me, but I don't love how overly black the interior is on the Grand Wagoneer (and I usually love black interiors). I would opt for the Sea Salt interior which is a cream or light gray, but a person has to stay at the Series II trim level to get that interior color. I'm not a fan of the orange-y tan interior on the Series III. The passenger screen up front is novelty rather than function. As of now I'll likely be ordering an Escalade ESV when able next fall after the refresh (production set for November 2023 as of now) as long as the LZO diesel is an option and the refreshed look and features are fine. Backup will likely be a Yukon Denali XL. However, Cadillacs are so so so hard to come by of late. Thanks for your input in the video!
For the exterior, it kind of depends on the color. The silver zenith looks pretty awesome. The interior is really where the Grand Wagoner blows away the competition. I don't like the Obsidon interior (boring all black), but the Agave or the Tan look really awesome. The Escalde looks dated, and more like something old people drive.
The Grand Wagoneer, if nothing else, looks very nice. The engine seems to have pretty decent power, but it would be cool if it had more - certainly no Escalade V level of power
Imagine if the Jeep grand wagoneer have massage seats in the second row because for example if you going to Disney like Epcot and you are walking to much and if you leave Epcot Disney world and your legs and your body is so tired you can you use the massage seats while your parent is driving home and your parent can use the massage seat to make you relax while driving in the highway.
You talk about optional engine. Please tell me grand Wagoneer L or Grand Wagoneer Not L. I mine the regular grand Wagoneer. But i hope Grand Wagoneer L with V8 6.4L engine. I want this model but available or not my lord.
I have the 24 grand cherokee L summit with the obsidian trim it’s just as good as the grand wagoneer but it’s got half the features and half the power than that beautiful behemoth
When Chevy announced the 2019 Chevy Silverado, I thought they went out and created the ugliest exterior of any vehicle ever. Then Jeep went ahead and upped their game. I don’t know who buys these.
IT’S A JEEP! You’re confident to drive through any terrain. For me, Jeep status is hard! 🦾 I would purchase the Grand Wagoneer over any other SUV in the same class. Not always in love with Jeep’s body style changes sometimes. But it’s a Jeep! And the American flag? ✋🏾🎤
I really love this car. I got to sit in one at the Detroit Auto Show in September and I was blown away by the luxury features
Jeep brought its A-Game with the interior
Yeah they are very comfortable they drive nice as well!
I love the profile of this vehicle. It’s different. It’s unique. It is its own vehicle.
This luxury SUV is the most luxurious SUV in the entire world and I'm going to get

It should have been a Chrysler town and country, not a Jeep.
@@manuelsmiley7125 I suppose Jeep sounds better than Chrysler

already miss the 6.4 v8 was a true American truck
Still available in these.
@@doggedlydetermined7022 nope just checked the official website for 2023 model year definitely got rid of v8 for I6
You can get that engine in the standard Wagoneer, but yes, it's gone for the GWs.
Series 1’s still have the V8s. I drove the 6.4 on Saturday. It doesn’t feel fast. I’d rather have the flatter torque curve, smoothness and efficiency of the turbo I-6.
Beautiful car but soo expensive!
Gotta pay to play in the upscale world.
It not only expensive but there are better options for this price.
Its rivals are similarly expensive, but you've gotta love the look for that price, I agree
TBF this is a completely different class than your average CUV/SUV
@@kevting4512 for less money I would take a longhorn ram 1500 or a ford f150 limited.
I need to see the Jeep Grand Wagoneer Hellcat
Hellcat all the things

I really really really want this car. Beautiful SUV.
This is my favorite 3 row suv. I love this better than the Escalade and new Mercedes’
Exterior looks is based on perception. The Wagooner looks tuff
My favorite Jeep SUV! Amazing job Miles.
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!

I like that hurricane engine sound real smooth
SOO BEAUTIFUL!
Man those roads!
That 6 cylinder is a great rival to the B58
Imagine it in something small and light 🤔
This should be used in the challenger or pacifica.
Interesting but expensive

I really love the car
It’s crazy I had a 2003 keep grand Cherokee it had very similar chimes, not as many though.
Car and driver did 0-60 in 5.0 seconds without rollout for a 2023 Grand Wagoner L, 4.9 seconds for the regular Grand Wagoner
Would love to see some side by side comparisons
Think I'd go for the Escalade.
Safe Journey!
CHOLULA!!!
In my opinion, the vehicle's exterior could be better (Idk how) but they nailed the interior so it makes up for the exterior.
Buen vídeo grasias por mostrar en la carretera ese vehículo
this Jeep grand wagoner is better then my dad’s 2022 Cadillac Escalade

Oooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
hurricane 6 👍
When is this coming out? I haven’t seen any for sale even online.
On the screen display, I noticed it was flashing red. Is that the camera or a sensor in the truck?
That's the infrared sensor. It's only visible on camera, not to the naked eye
I wonder if you can get the 6.4 L V8 as an off the menu option for the jeep grand Wagoneer L.
Probably not, they are getting rid of the big Hemi V8s, this Inline 6 is a better option anyway, it’s more efficient and more powerful.

Escalade all day, everyday.

The handling. You can’t compare the Escalade.
That's not a Jeep, ladies and gentlemen, that is literally a Chrysler Imperial wagon with a bogus jeep grill and badge.
Its out door profile look like as if a pickup truck is add behind cover.

what is the difference between Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer? Its the same cars?
It's like a Esclade and a tahoe. The Wagoneer is a little less luxury compared to the grand. You get massaging seats and little things in the grand
