They sound better in nfs, no game has accurate sound let's just make that clear for everyone, but some games have good sound quality and that is what this video is about. So i don't understand how Forza has better sound in no.2 which is the Mazda RX7 sound, i mean sure it might be your own opinion/taste, but honestly just listening to the backfire in Forza makes me wanna cringe and puke. It sounds like someone is slapping a piece of hard plastic on the wall. The sound itself is not as good imo just becuase i have heard actual Mazda rx7 sounds and they don't sound like that or close for me. Nfs is a little bit more close, but it's more of a tunned madza sound. No. 4 to me goes to nfs too, yea seems pretty biased but no way does the bmw in Forza sound like that in real life or even close. Plus nfs has a personal relationship with the bmw company which is proven in the E3 with the release trailer of the m5 f90 in the first place which is their primary car, they should know better then anyone how to make the sound or have better copies.

NFS Payback turbos just sound like mini jet engines there's nothing else to them. At least you can supercharge cars in Forza and actually feel the power of your car lmao. Also you don't need to use cards to upgrade your cars in Forza rofl.

Forzas engine and exhaust sounds are, compared to the original / real sound of each car, way to "thin" and flat. Forza is a great game no doubt but nfs sounds better and more realistic. A lot of cars in horizon sadly sound very comparable and some like total shit, even more on a regular TV sound system instead of a big surround sound system...

For real, they only got a few cars sounds right, also a Maserati Grand Trurismo sounds like a Ferrari 458 when it's sound like a deep rumbling V8, also in fh3 they got the actual car sound right but in FH4 they fucked it.
F-14 Tomcat Tobar They fixed it recently in FM7, along with a load of the Honda I4s and a few V12s. Didn’t add them to Horizon though sadly :/

Sound in NFS are better because it has less cars, imagine recording the sound of 550 cars vs 70. Also, Forza has cockpit camera and they had to record even more sounds per car. And Forza has a lot more content too, like bigger map, better physics, more visuals with customizable fov etc. And don't forget that upgrading your car in Forza will result a sound change, you will have turbo whistle and supercharger sound, in NFS the sound is always the same.

Also, there are a lot of cars in Forza that sound pretty good.
And payback has a lot of flaws, Forza has just poor sound and customization, but it's due to the amount of cars in the game. (550 vs 70)
Well forza had lots of time to work on sounds and make an update after releasing the game, yet we’re still here...

Do you know that updates require a lot of work, resource, money and time? And anyway, sound updates are coming for FH4 and you can check them on youtube, meanwhile payback is still a bad game and it will be always remember as a bad game, cause some updates can't make it a good game, payback needs a total rework.
I'm a forza horizon player, but I gotta admit, the engine sounds are a lot better in NFS. They got more bass and are much deeper

In forza there are 2-5 versions of the same car and this makes that 550 but in reality the forza has about 150 cars

Is just me or Every car in Payback has the same high rpm revving sound. Especially when you bounce the rev limiter. The crackles and pops definitely go to payback but overall sound goes to Forza.
