3 red snappers, whole (1 1/2 lbs each)
Seasonings per fish
1/2 tsp kosher, salt
1/2 tsp black pepper, ground
1/2 tsp garlic, powder
1/2 tsp paprika
Olive oil for coating
Herbs per fish
6 sprigs (small) thyme, fresh (lemon thyme)
2 sprigs of dill, fresh
2 sprigs of parsley, fresh
2 sprigs cilantro, fresh
2 sprigs marjoram, fresh
2 sprigs rosemary, fresh
1 lemon slice cut in half
Pico slaw
12 oz tomatoes, fresh
1/2 medium red, onion
1/2 bunch cilantro, fresh

Great Video! Thank you for this. We were unable to find the smaller whole red snapper but one large one. It just fits in the basket (same one you used) I think its about 3.5 to 4 pounds. Will it still work? Any tips? How long should we cook it for?

I have grilled yellowtail snapper before, it’s delicious.
I want to try red snapper, but its population is under pressure and so it’s bad for the environment, so I will try this with another type of fish.

She is mistaken about why you want to score the fish. It’s more to make sure the fish cooks evenly. The tail section cooks much faster that’s why you want only 2-3 cuts and stop before the tail. Yes it helps to get flavor in the meat but it’s much more for the even cooking effect it gives rather than a flavor booster.
Scoring the fish serves both purposes. The flavor is also important. She isn't mistaken.

Over cooked by putting it in the oven. It was checked when it came off the grille and it was done. Other than that it looks awesome. Don't over cook great fish.
She didn’t overcook it. She grilled two fish and that was a third fish that she used to demonstrate you can also bake it on oven, not just grill it.
It’s not true it’s how you choose to cook your fish.I can tell you never bake fish you don’t know anything period
@@joylynfrederick3773 I've baked fish plenty of times! Always comes out great! Not sure how you're doing it, but nothing wrong with baking fish.
