The twisted world of Tim Burton shares many key traits: Love Strangeness Whimsy Misunderstanding Heart of gold Solitude Innocence Bittersweetness Eccentricity Hidden beauty Greatness
Every time I watch his movies it makes me feel not alone, makes me comfortable to be myself, makes me relate to Jack Skellington and Edward Scissorhands
Now I'm crying my eyes out in my room in the middle of the day! I honestly relate so much to Tim Burton's characters. Some people tell me that his movies/characters are weird and creepy. For me, they show such meaning and comfort. I feel like others honestly aren't in this world of loneliness, solitude, weirdness, introverted and that is why they don't understand it. I love to escape and stay in the world of Tim Burton.
I honestly don't know why this doesn't have more views. You have an amazing voice for storytelling. Your script is beautifully written and the editing is equally wonderful. You made me realise why I love Tim's films so much.
Wow this was really incredible. A very insightful and in depth look at Burton's work. I myself have always identified with his characters and felt like an outsider. I recently got to fulfill my lifelong dream of meeting Tim in person and I made a video about it on my channel. It was the most important experience of my entire life.
I've seen so many videos on youtube lately where people bash Tim Burton for all kinds of untrue reasons. It made me feel sad to see people who don't even try to understand why his movies are important to so many. So instead of going in the comments there and calling them stupid or ignorant(as we do nowadays), I thought I'd better come here and thank you for celebrating this man's creative genius. So, thank you! Great video.
Thank you! Yeah it's "trendy" to negatively bashing, yes maybe Burton is on the hollywood list and even mainstream to some degree, but he has a distinctive style and has a very thoughtful way of approaching cinema. Thanks for watching =) - Øyvind
Ive always felt like an outsider, like i cant fit in any "group", which often makes u feel alone and different but seeing how in Burton's movies, the characters also feel that way, makes u feel comforted and accompanied.
Thank you so much! I remember I had a cold, and constantly had a cup of warm tea with honey for each take haha. It's comments like yours take matter =) I read virtually anything, and it's people like you that keeps this channel alive. Cheers! Thank you for watching :D
Wow. Just.... wow. This DEFINATLEY one of my favourite videos on the internet now. Brilliantly written, brilliantly edited. Thank you for making this -- I think its safe to say that any Tim Burton fan watching this is grateful for it. :))
Hey, I just wanted to comment that this video is pure art and I don't know why this didn't get more views. Good job in the realization of this introduction in the work and art of Tim Burton.
Micaela Acuña Thank you so much! ☺️ This was a joy to make, sadly I ventured into gaming territory but I’ve been meaning to return to more essay oriented videos! Thank you for watching Michael! This comment made my day ✨🙏✨
VERY COOL!!! Come on People, let's get MORE VIEWS for this video! Tim Burton has given us so many Great Movies, the least we can do is share this video as much as possible! This is about the master of Films, Originality, Idea's & Spooky more interesting ways to look at things. I love how Tim Burton gives us a new story everytime!
Thanks for watching! Aww, well if you're watching then that's enough ^^ I had a lot of fun and learned a lot making this video. I've been thinking about making another video in similar style. Thank you for watching ^^
@@KungFuKuya Thanks for replying. Thank you for bringing attention to the Greatness that is Tim Burton! He has given us so many Gems that he deserves way more attention that he gets! He basically defined a whole new realm & genre that no one was really tapping into. Hell, he made it cool to be Dark and different. He helped make it easier for a lot of us here in Detroit to be different and I will always be grateful for that. I sent your video to my cousin and they're big Tim Burton fans so I know they're going to love it! I hope you get what you need to make more videos, you definitely have a gift!!! We will keep watching. Have a great day and keep up the wonderful work!
I can definitely identify and relate to Tim Burton's characters indeed because I felt different from everybody else. I led my own path and not be a follower, I never was in The in crowd doing what everybody else is doing I have a mind of my own. To the point that I felt that I was all alone, don't get me wrong I have friends but for the most part I was mostly alone but that's okay because it gave me a lot of time to think of what kind of person I have become. I remember when I was in school there was this picture of all these red apples and in the middle one green apple and below the picture it said Dare to be different and I was like hey that's me I'm that green apple! So when I see the Tim Burton movies with these different main characters like Beetlejuice, Edward scissorhands, and so on I feel like those characters are me.
Hahaha taaakk! På mange måter er det her jeg burde holde meg til, men neida tenkte Øyvind x) Har to videoer som jeg har prokrastinert i noen mnd som er litt i samme stil! Takk for at du så på :D
@@KungFuKuya technically so was nightmare before Christmas, it was just his story.....it was probably because the book was Neil gaiman and directed by Henry selick, I don't know if tim burton played any part in that movies creation.
@@mosesappleby4357 that’s a good point. No he did play a part in the movie during production but it’s true he was just there I think less than a week. But since the director did not have free flow to do whatever he wanted or adding anything that was not TB - it still tilts as “his film” according to Auteur Theory of Cinema. But it’s certainly nuanced and weird at the same time
Thank you for 1K views!

can you do one with Guillermo del Toro?

@@KungFuKuya cool
Scorpio.
What movies do you wanna see in the future from director Tim Burton?
He peaked with Ed Wood. He did great work once, but I don’t imagine ever will again. He could retire and I wouldn’t notice.
Being different from others since I was born, Burtons movies always felt like a "safe place", for me.
you forgot Coraline tho
Ah, same vibes yes. But it's directed by Henry Selick.
