Now that is the right size for a cruise ship! I suppose it is what one would call 'understated elegance' but it was all too monochromatic for my tastes. Thank goodness for those few colourful pieces of art.
It takes a lot of effort to make that many spaces feel fully antiseptic. I looked longingly at the orange life rings and a couple brightly-bound books. Get Joe Farcus!
Excellent job, as usual, Peter! I love the open bow observation area, but I'm not too impressed with the décor. For me, the best part about her is the outdoor spaces.
Thanks so much, Russ! I actually enjoyed the decor and watching it progress as more supplies arrived during the cruise. The artworks looked fantastic in their neutral surrounds. I totally agree on the deck areas, though. The bow, top and pool areas are very, very cool.
It was an inaugural cruise, so some work, especially during that early post-Covid era was to be expected. The ECLIPSE Is much larger and much more lavish but then so are her fares. :)
Thanks for posting. I actually found the color schemes soothing to the eye, especially when the rooms were filled with guests wearing some vibrant colors but I get what you are saying. The artworks also added much to the vibe once they were installed.
@@midshipcinema - I agree, Peter. The very neutral colors are perfect for the sleek lines of this vessel. I’d be happy to sail on a ship that doesn’t accost my visual sensibilities with lots of color, textures (which I generally like) or busy patterns. I really like this ship, and I really enjoyed your tour of her - thanks!
Nice little ships. The interiors looks pretty drab though. Not sure if that is just on video of if it feels like that in real life. The decor lacks some finesse and warmth in my view.
Thanks for posting. To be fair, there may still be some missing elements in the decor like soft fittings, plants and some artworks that still had not arrived by the time I disembarked.
Great video, as usual! But what a bland,, characterless and dreary looking ship. Shame her sister is going to be identical, because this one is a tragic missed opportunity, spending so much money on something so ordinary.
Seems to be a consensus on the color scheme or lack thereof, although I found her new artworks and furnishing helped a great deal. Thanks so much for posting.
Just got off Azzurra in December and Sakara in February. Love them! No more big ships for us!
Nice! Thank you for watching and posting. :)
Love the ship. I have been a fan of small cruise ships for a while, but I really enjoyed the way you did the tour. Thank you.
Fantastic, thank you, Paul. I appreciate that. :)
Luxury plus small number of guests…brilliant
LOL, the only way to cruise! :)
So happy to see calm colours. Rather than the loud colours of royal Caribbean, Uniworld, etc
Agreed! She is soothing to the eye. Thanks for posting.
Those were not calm colours, that was an almost total lack of colour.
Wonderful presentation thank you
Thank you, Mark. Much appreciated. :)
Well done Peter! Thank you for sharing this delightful video!
As ever, thank you, Matt! So glad you enjoyed it. :)
Excellent video Peter, cheers!
Thanks so much, Bernard! Appreciate your watching. :)

Thanks for sharing. We will be on the Sakara next summer. Did you notice any extra noise given the proximity of the elevators to your stateroom?
No, did not notice any elevator noises. :)
Muy interesantes todos los videos, solo tengo una critica, baja resolucion, solo 480p, estaria genial 720 o 1080, saludos desde Argentina
Thank you so much, Hugo. Greetings from California! :)
Currently at Mykonos island 🇬🇷❤️🙌🏻
Thank you. :)
this a delivery voyage?...lots of work still going on. curious to know your thoughts on the difference between this yacht and the scenic eclipse

No casino?
Nope.
Badly needs some colour.
It all looks very appealing, but I would become depressed amongst the grey and beige.

It does not have an elevator. So, those with problems with stairs, cannot go.
It has two lifts, which are elevators in ship speak, so, yes, those with ambulatory issues can go.
@@midshipcinema Thank you!! Can you give me their phone number? I have been trying with no avail.

The furnishings look really cheap for a "luxury yacht". If that is what they were going for they missed the mark.
Okay, sure.
Goodness...what a basic and bland interior design. Hard pass!
Thanks for watching and commenting. :)
