That is absolutely 5-star luxury. Stunning, I have not a single suggestion or criticism. Cunard 100% knows how to do it, and THIS IS IT. The other Queens should receive these appointment, or be refitted by whomever is responsible for this. Blown away! Great stuff, thank you for posting this.
I came across this video by accident and thank you for producing it because we will be occupying suite 8178 in a few weeks time when we celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary and embark on Queen Victoria's V927 ('Northern Lights') cruise.
@@stuarthowells1451 Hello Stuart - we had a wonderful cruise and were fortunate enough to experience a spectacular display of the Northern Lights. No, the rough weather was on the previous cruise in the Med. We enjoyed our stay in 8178 but had a lot of disturbed nights with very loud footsteps above our heads on the Lido deck - late at night from passengers and 5/5.30am from the crew. Did you experience this?
Thanks for the info. We had planned to do a transatlantic crossing before covid, and now we've saved plenty to do an upgrade and visit Europe for a month. We planned on taking the orient express to Vienna.
Nice suite but if I gather correctly at the stern of the ship? Not ideal. Also there wasn't one man's shirts hanging in the closet that should have left the store.
Thanks for sharing. Just a couple of questions. How does this ship compare the the QE2? Same class, size, etc.? It did not look as formal as the QE2 just as far as formal attire. Also, are all the shown bottles of refreshments complimentary with your suite? Thanks in advance.
goutvols103 Hi. All the refreshments you see in this suite are indeed complimentary. We travelled on the QE2 many year before it was retired from service and in relation to dress code we would say that all the current Cunard fleet have a slightly more relaxed dress code; Eg. all sea days are no longer enforced formal nights. Additionally ties are not mandatory attire for gentleman on other (non-gala) evenings.
goutvols103 On a 10 night cruise we've just completed (Dec 2019) there were three Gala nights where we reckon the dress code was respected by 98% of guests. In fact this is one of the factors which continues to draw us back to the Cunard brand.
interesting thing seemed to have changed since this was made. These suites are now (2023) labelled "Queens Suites" and down graded to Q4 and Q5. Mind you its a down grade I could live with!

Hope you had a great time. Was that the rather rough criuse in terms of weather?

Great video, thank you. Cunard did a really good job with the refit. A lovely ship.
A brilliant video! Thanks for sharing
Absolutely gorgeous suite!
Many thanks-Good video !
That is a beautiful room. I will remember that - Q4 on the Queen Victoria.
More than perfect 👌
damn that is a perfect british style Inside the penthouse suite thanks for the return
Now regraded by Cunard as a Q6 with the two inner as Q5 and the wrap round cabins once again as Q6. NIce cabins, but why the downgrade?
i Don't know really
This suite's decor is actually much nicer than many of the midships Q4s. Possibly downgraded because of noise? The pool deck is right above.
Yes you could be a bit more chic for the suite anyway great visit & charming company 😂👍

Nice.
Just perfect 👌
When I win the state lottery, I will book this suite, and get the drink package if there's any money left over....

Thanks for the info. What a spectacular ship which I hope to get onto going forward.
Assume it is possible to configure the suite as two twin beds instead of the king?
Hope so as I’m onboard with my sister in August. We were told they could.
Are all penthouse suites like this? Q3 or Q4?

Call it Versailles. 😉
How much would this cost?
BossyBoots TresChic Hello. The best value we have seen for this cabin is around GBP 2,500 for 10 nights. It can be in excess of GBP 5,000.
Rather small for the price.
That depends on the proce / deals on offer :-)
