Despite the fact I don’t wear a lot of 60s/70s clothes, since I normally opt for 1930s/1940s vintage, I really love your style! 😍😍 I found your channel this week after looking for an alternative haircut I could do after giving myself a Hime cut (which looked great when I had straightened hair but not when it was naturally wavy). I used this haircut of yours’ as inspiration to reshape the previous cut I’d given myself and it works really well for me now! 😄
Tips for the smaller shoe Put some fluffy socks on (to add space) then hit it with a hairdryer while your feet are in em. Then stuff them n lean them against a window to chill the shoe quickly n boom, it’s stretched

Hey Devyn! I recommend taking your shoes to a local cobbler, or someone who sells leather shoes/Dansko clogs etc. to have your shoes stretched. They usually have special tools for this and they sometimes charge you a small fee. I’d call ahead to check.
Also, you can looking up “freezing shoes to stretch them” and there are some good instructions online.

Shoe stretch spray is really good and it works .. spray inside of shoe , stuff with newspaper until its really tight , leave for 1 week - and u should b good to go !

I love 60s mod type of makeup but I have asian hooded eyes 😢 so does anyone have any tips for recreating those types of looks? And what type of make-up looks did girls with Asian and or hooded eyes wear int the 1960s, cheers!
Hello Im not an expert but I have hooded eyes as well and I think if you go just a tiny bit above where the hood of your eyelid is and maybe just do a tiny bit of shading to add to the effect you should achieve something similar but like I said Im not fully sure
SAME maybe you could look up pictures from that time of asian trends (ofc american and asian trends aren't the same but you can try)

You can put plastic bags of water into your shoes and put them toes down (make sure the baggie fills up toe) in the freezer. The water will expand into ice and stretch your shoes. It works really well with leather and so-so with other materials. A cobbler could also stretch your shoes for you.

Love it!! take a ziplock bag and fill it with water. place it in the shoe you want to stretch out, and stick it in the freezer. let it freeze completely, and then take the bag out of the shoe. It will have stretched the shoe out for you! :D Hope that helps!!

You two are so cute!! This eye makeup you’re doing I don’t think I can do it, because I have a hooded eye, and it doesn’t give me room to create the cut crease, and I wear glasses except when I’m filming on UA-cam. I’ve never tried false eyelashes either because of my glasses..

Just a quick question for all the 60s lovers: how do you girls deal with hair teasing? 😂 bc honestly I always want to have the look and i’ve tried so many times but it’s just a nightmare for me! It always ends up looking terrible and it’s absolutely horrible to wash it later with all the tangles on my head. Any advices?? 😂💓
Hi, very late reply, but try to tease in one side (the side facing away from you) so that you can have it nice and smooth when you brush it down a little.Also tease it in sections going from the very top of your crown downwards. To disentangle it faster try using a wide tooth comb starting from your ends upwards. Personally I clip up and separate the hair I'm not going to tease away from the section I want to tease so that I won't get frustrated. Hope this helps! :)

Get some shoe stretchers or take them to a cobbler and they should be able to do that as well.

I can never do that cut crease thing. I’ve tried it when I went as Lana del Rey for Halloween one year and it’s never perfectly rounded like yours...I think you need super big lids and eyes to pull that off aka like yours

Try to put some thicker sock on to that smaller shoe and wear it for few days, it should stretch it :)

How can someone who is such a fan of vintage and the 1960’s do the banana crease so wrong.
Please do not come for someone’s technique without a profile pic provided to support your argument. And btw true muses of the 60’s look care less about doing their eye looks ‘wrong’ - what makes it ‘right’ is if they're happy with the look. Good day x
STACY JANG okay Stacy I can respect where you're coming from. but I can't respect how you're gonna use a profile picture to try and invalidate my opinion. you're supposed to trace just below the brow bone. her liner is on top of it. it looks awkward and unflattering hence why it was done under the brow bone
death yeah - I see where you’re coming from and I apologise for that. She did, however, specify that the lipstick would be used as eyeshadow and not liner. This look seems more expressive, not to mention the brow bone is mostly covered by her bangs. I believe she’s made more precise looks with liner on her other makeup videos - her rendition of Cher’s look may be more suited to your standard. p.s.
