My mother is a great mom, she made sure I was always looking well, made sure I knew all the basic skills for living on my own.. just overall got me (along with my dad ofc but they are separated and live in separate countries so I only saw him on vacations) to where I am, about to obtain my electrical engineering degree but she was abused as a child.
A person’s success in life doesn’t always mean they had a poor upbringing. Some people just like to do better than their guardians did. She said she’d never let me go through what she went through

The mother is absolutely pathetic. She's immature, mean, and petty. I can see why she was a single mother. No man would want to deal with that! She's probably jealous of the daughter. I hope the daughter has cut her off. It's ok to disengage from abusive people

Judge Mathis needs to understand just because a parent whether it be the father or the mother, feeds you, clothes and provides shelter till your 18 years old doesn’t mean they are a good parent, it’s their obligation to do that. And verbal and emotional abuse is real

I can't stand when Judge Mathis always take the side of the parent without hearing any of the evidence. Just because they gave birth to you does not mean that they are a good parent and providing basic necessities is what you're supposed to do so you don't get a pat on the back. Bottom line is the scumbag of a mother ran the utilities up in her daughter's name without permission
