    The few scenes where Walt and Jesse teams up is the highlight of the show for me. Despite their toxic relationship it was really fun seeing them accomplish unreachable feats together.

    Gale was in the game. Part of the drug trade and he paid the price. Not innocent.

    • @juno6602
      @juno6602 3 місяці тому +18

      Agree. Gale was about as innocent as "in the game" can be, but he was still in it. And that made him, unlike a civilian, a legitimate target.

    • @Sursion

      He's even less innocent when you watch Better Caul Saul. When Gus recruited him, he was actively working on making an already addictive drug even more addictive lol.

    Jesse’s plan to escape and have Walt give up Gus to the DEA wasn’t that bad at all, guy was willing to start a new life and have Walt back to his family but of course Walt’s ego just wanted to “cook”

    • @johnrex9612
      @johnrex9612 3 місяці тому +7

      @cn Cartel is not some magical organisation. All they can do is plain and simple hit. Even after they have failed to kill Hank, they did not manage to kill him when it was obvious he is the target.
      Gus also doesn't have more capabilities. He can threaten Walt as long as he stays in shadows. Gus is capable only of gathering very basic info about people who are not in his organisation and he can only attack by surprise. At this point Walt is not protected by the Police, that's why he is under threat.
      In both cases, Cartel and Gus can't do anything if they are exposed and possible target knows he is the target + he has the DEA/Police protection. Also I doubt Cartel would've even try to find Walter at this point. Gus is nothing more for them than an asset for them. If Walt talks, Gus gets arrested and his organisation is getting shut down. But that's no reason for Cartel to have vendetta. One reminder, nobody in witness protection ever get killed.

      @@johnrex9612 Exactly. The cartel isn't gonna be able to get past the DEA. The higher ups wouldn't even attempt it.

      I honestly don't think he's being manipulative here, the original plan was to have Jesse just get his address so Walt could take care of it, he was genuinely asking for his help. Walt absolutely did manipulate Jesse throughout the series, but this was not an example of that.
