- Hop aboard as we travel around the Grand Strand Model Railroad club's HO scale model railroad! We start off in the staging track and head out around the east bound main. We then traverse the track up to the branch line. We meet the local passenger train and head down the steep hill and through the yard. We make a final lap with a detour through the peninsula and back into the engine facility. We take a spin on the turn table and tie up in the engine facility. Beautiful layout! Lots to see. (I would have a word with that signal maintainer..... That green light on the main while the UP freight was entering the block, lol!) Otherwise, it's more than I could ask for in a layout. Lot of work there. These videos give me inspiration for my Needles Sub layout I want to build for my 70's Santa Fe collection to run on.

Layout modeling was beautifully done. Cab ride video excellent but audio was way too loud and distracted from the viewing enjoyment. Lower the locomotive sound, tell the members to cease talking during filming. Kudos for a great modeling club.
You could always just turn down the video volume.
A super model railroad. Great bridges, especially that long wooden trestle! Of course it wouldn't exist on a modern railroad. Listening to the diesel sound got annoying after a few minutes though. I'd rather listen to the wheels on the rails.
