Just about a year ago I bought a 2022 sport touring. My 30 something daughter fell in love with it and got herself a sport. Two weeks later her car was totaled. The new airbags deployed as promised. She and my 8y old grandson were not injured. I'm very happy we have Honda Civics.
I'm impressed how this Honda (and other makes) keep their windshields intact for many of the events shown. At worse we see a few spider cracks. Newer cars are much more rigid than ever.
Car & Driver magazine has the Civic in first place and the Mazda 3 in second place, for how they drive. They had the Corolla in 5th place, but it might be the most reliable at 200 thousand miles.
I mean the trunk is basically a giant crumple zone. The rear is probably already the safest place a car can get hit, if they figured out how to protect from other collisions so well the rear probably fine too.
Im the tester for that…..some newer rolla hatch rear my beautiful boost blue hatch on the highway when we had to come to a sudden stop. I managed to stop about 3 feet away from the car in front of me them i look in my rear view and see the rolla. He hit me at about 50 mph. He completely totaled his car, my airbags didnt even go off. My crash bar and spare wheel well got bent and bumper is cracked and that is it. No alignment issues or anything like that. She is a fucking tank.

But it's mostly plastic
@bravemeisterr , no. The body is sheetmetal. The structure is reinforce steel.
The top 3 safest compact sedans are:
1. Mazda 3 (2019-present)
2. Honda Civic (2022-present)
3. Toyota Corolla (2020-present)

It’s surprising what and how you can style up a Honda Civic
This is a well built car. Thank you all for ALL of the hard work that made it what it is. You all are awesome.
I couldn't damage a Honda Civic like that🥺
So that's what I have to do to get the mirror caps off
😂😂😂
Why isn't there a rear impact testing? 🤔
Who doesn’t like to get hit from the back 😀
@@Dis2good well is all good if it doesn't kill you

RELIABLE💯BUILD💥FUTURUSTIC✨️
How many cars did you wasted?
Honda: Yes.
If they have a good safety rating why are people dying from a front end collision?
This has to be a fun job
impresive durability
2023 H. Civic it's like a gas version of teslas.

I'm very impressed with this vehicle.
