Very informative video
Hi! I’m actually an international student that got on this year and want to note that having home fees isn’t required for all courses. Scotland courses (so Glasgow and Edinburgh) have a separate funding body and just require that you have the right to work without restrictions. I believe Royal Holloway also has this rule! Everything else is spot on :) and also just owe you a big thank you as your videos helped so much in my application process!!
Hi! Congrats on your offer!! May I ask which uni have you got on this year? Are there any other uni that does not require home fees?
@@kittyf.6254 Thank you! I got on at Edinburgh and was reserve list for Glasgow. And the unis that don’t require home fees are just the ones I mentioned above - Edinburgh, Glasgow, and I believe Royal Holloway.
Could I ask how this works? Is a work visa sufficient as evidence of the right to work without restrictions? This means you probably had to apply for a job in the UK before applying for the DClinPsy?
(If it's not too much to ask, would you mind telling your story? I would love to hear it)
If it’s possible could you say what type of qualifications you did that made them want to choose you?
Thank you so much for this information! really gave me hope for the future to studying for postgraduate in the UK!!
Thanks for this useful information.
Hi Sharon, thank you so much for the video. Do you know if you still need a right-to-work visa if you are going for a self-funded spot?
Hi Sharon! Thank you for this informative video, it has been very helpful :) Would it be possible to interview international trainees that have pursued/are currently pursuing the doctorate about their experience of the application process and the course itself?
Hey thanks for watching!! I have been in contact with someone so hopefully this video should be coming soon!
@@SharonBplease that would be very helpful
Hey Sharon, does it mean international students with undergraduate degree from outside UK won't get any NHS fund?
Government research council
Charity org common wealth scholarships
UK based funds
Oh UK is 3 to 4years and USA is at least 5 years.. wonder why is it..
Write to work UK visa
Do I need to submit a research proposal for the admission procedure ?
Contact BPS to get accreditation
Hi can u do a video on clinician associate in psychology and psychological well being practitioner as well as non psychology jobs that can be done with a psychology degree
This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while! Because I don’t have personal experience in these roles, I’ll look for someone who does!
@@SharonB thank you
How bout an international student who has completed the undergraduate from a uk uni and now wants to be the Clinical psychologist, what will be be her way?like normal national way that applies for the other uk fellow or what?and whats the funding Process then?
Hi did you get a reply about whether you would be self funded or NHS funded for Dpsych?
@@carcinogenesis3700even after a conversion Msc course/Bachelors course in uk by an international student, is it really they still won't get the NHS fund?
