Despite our population of 350 million people, we have so much room that there are places you can drive for a couple hours and not see another car or human being. My average sized state - Oregon - is about the size of Germany, but we have a mere 3.5 million people compared to their 89 million.
Hey Matthew good to see you back uploading videos again bro. Can't wait until football comes back in like August. You will see a lot of new faces as many guys have left for the NFL and younger guys will not get a chance to be starters. Also, many NFL player will get traded to other teams so don't be surprised if you see Arron Rogers in NY or Lamar Jackson in Chicago, Indianapolis or Texas. There's always plenty of player movement in college and the NFL. Hope you are doing well Matthew and everything is good in Sweden. ♣ Yeah, the US is a massive country full of natural diversity. There are mountains, deserts, long coastlines, frigid tundra in Alaska, swamps all along the gulf of Mexico, tropical islands in Hawaii, etc. But we also have some craziness too. lol...😛😛 But its home and we love it. It’s not that the U.S. is more “expensive” it’s more that because the U.S. is spending money everywhere from Japan to Ukraine keeping the world safe the purchasing power of the dollar is going down faster in America.

The cost of healthcare in America is high because America bears all the burden of research and development. It costs hundreds of billions of dollars per year to discover new drugs and technologies. America pays billions of dollars to do it. Then of course it’s cheap when Europe just copies it without having to do the trials or research.
This video needs to be updated. These stats are incorrect. The USA has 330 mil ppl, the GDP of California is $3.37 trillion and the defense budget is $885 billion. I hate when these videos give misinformation. The GDP of the USA as of 2023 is 26 trillion dollars.
Purchasing power parity or PPP is kind of deceptive. It is a good way to get an handle on how the people live. It is a good measurement of how much food, medical care, etc. as well as common luxuries like personal vehicles and the like you will find. However it does not reflect well for big ticket items. Big Ticket meaning massive civil, scientific, or military projects that a nation has that really show off it's ability. A new aircraft carrier is going to run into the billions on research and design costs alone. The fact that you can save a few million on steel is not going to be a significant factor. This is even more on research projects or things that rely on a lot of imported goods or expertise. So while China is near the US in PPP, it has a lot more people to split it among and is not well suited for upgrading their military to be a true modern force or creating the next massive space project.
The reason for the health care cost being so much more expansive comes down to two main issues of people seeing doctors in the hospital setting versus local or small clinic and the obesity epidemic. 1 MRI machine that can handle people larger than 300lbs can cost upwards of 5 millions dollars and specialty ambulances can range from 4 to 9 million.
A video I find interesting that I haven’t seen anybody react to yet is welcome to the USS Constitution museum and Charlestown Naval Yard. You can find it on the USS Constitution museums UA-cam channel. It’s about America ship of state and the world oldest ship still seaworthy today.
It's still expensive with insurance, because we have huge deductibles, in the thousands. When Obama developed Obamacare, he destroyed our personal medical insurance policies, which worked. They were usable, now the deductibles are so high that you can't reach the point where the insurance company has to contribute. And the price went up on the cost of our policies too. We have coverage, but can't afford to use it. I just stopped going to the doctor. Yet, we still have to pay for the unusable policy.
