The beginning of a legend.
Nope not at all
This family is a Chevy family why disgrace your family with a Ford
@@robertquackenbush5547 cry abt it
@@TicksOnRoblox you must be a former lover
I'm pure Chevy all the way
Wow guys soon as I seen that falcon my eyes filled with tears. My best friends dad had one few years ago that I was gonna buy but didn't because more important things came about. Well just a year an half ago my friends dad passed and the car was gone it was sold. I felt horrible for not try to figure a way to buy it before it sold. Well as soon as I seen that car I had a mental picture of Dave Sr sitting behind the wheel an hit me hard emotionally. I'm so very glad to see such a cool car bought buy an amazing racing family. Can't wait to see it one day! NORTHERN KENTUCKY LOVES SRC. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS
Those old Falcons are beautiful. Can’t wait to see what you can do with it.
Ive watched the video a few times now and it looks pretty straight to. And that last pass that Billy made in it, it wasn't all over the track. And that surface looked pretty sketchy. If this car can do 150's on this surface, Imagine what it will do on a surface like Marion, Muncie, Onondaga, or at Trails this weekend. This is going to be fun to watch.
@@Pyle81 now look at what their doing with this car lol they have barely changed the setup too
Man I love the car. Can't wait to see Tommy wheeling it. Original steering wheel and most of the interior is awesome.
I love that everywhere you guys go you always always pay attention to the kids... thats what gets them to stay interested and race when they get older.
Chris is a great dude and fabricator ! You guys got a nice piece.
Gonna be so great to see Billy and Tommy racing again. Y'all be safe this weekend and bring us a W
SWEET ride! I am a Chevy guy but I love those little Falcons. (Ford Nova's) lol
Exactly! Ford's Nova!
Yeah, lol!
Same ! I love those little Falcons ! And the GM power makes it fast !!
My thoughts exactly
Workin mans mustang
That's so cool guys congrats. The best part was the last pass that billy made and Bill laughing and clapin hell yeah can't wait to see what the Src team does with her🤙✌
Especially with all the drama of the last week. The long trip to WV looks like it was worth it. And those boys look like they had fun with the RC cars. Boys can be pretty fun at that age.
Dudeeee! So hyped on this. I think it was a really smart move to not to tear down a perfectly good working truck and try to make all these changes. I’m in a similar boat with my competition drift car. Want to upgrade it. But it wins as is. Really need to build a new car entirely. Anyway. Hyped to see this and what you guys can do with this thing applying all your old school knowledge with the help
Of the new technology.
Big fan, didn't expect to see you here lol.
It’s nice to see even you watch these guys
@@thrifty9797 right
Thanks man, we’re really excited to learn some new things and have some fun while doing it!
@@thrifty9797sameeeeeeeee made me double take lol
With a little tuning and getting used to car you will have a
"Hillbilly rocket ship"
and it still has the
Hillbilly D lux interior intact !
Very proud of you Billy, for getting the falcon for Tommy. Family is all we have .You both will do great ,Mr.Bill you have a goodhearted family & it shows in video's like this.
Everything in that car looks very professionally done great pick guys this is going to be a lot of fun watching where y’all go from here!
God Bless always!
Chris does great work. Its a great car and everything is done right
I couldn't hardly wait for this video! I'm so happy for you guys! I would love to meet yall one day, just to soak up your hospitality
You guys got the perfect car to learn the whole tuning game with now. Once you learn the software and get the car the way you want it you will want to keep it. Great purchase and perfect for the channel
Omg.I’ve always loved a 1960-63 falcon.actually working on mine right now.it has all factory interior.nice car guys👍
Brings tears to my eyes for all you guys... Billy, Tommy, and the Ol Man.
Ok, I was not expecting that! It's awesome! I love the tail lights.
Thats awesome you and your brother have a great relationship may God continue to bless yall
I dunno about you guys BUT I am convinced tha 'ol Man is absolutely EXCITED about what the SRC team can get done with this little rocket!! No doubt about it,, you can hear the excitement in his laugh and see it on his face.
Not a Ford guy but I couldn't be happier that it has a heartbeat in it. Excited for you guys to try the EFI stuff, I think that your Dad will come around quick on it with his knowledge. Judging by the smile on his face he's already loving the quick adjustments.
How awesome is that, so happy for Tommy to be able to get into a race car. Well I think it was inevitable that a changer is coming with the LS platform and all the sensors. Good luck guys.
Guys, this thing fits the persona of these channels so well. Yeah sure, the Holley EFI is new school to y'all's old school, but with the combined knowledge, and the newfound data before and after a race, it's going to be a sweet ride for you guys, and the surrounding family of these channels! Cannot wait to see you guys shape, and be shaped by, this new car! Good luck guys!
Love the Falcon. Can't wait to see the potential with it.
I was giving Fords a hard time on your dads channel the other night.
But after seeing it's not just another Mustang I'm on board. Can't wait to see it with Tommy racing it!!
Good luck to both of ya this weekend.
Damn Billy fooled us. I thought for sure it was going to be another LS swapped fox body. This is much cooler
Im not an LS swap fan but that is nice to see some old iron out there no matter whats moving it
@@young11984 yup! And anything but a fox body!!!
The tight shock towers and the wide upper fenders, I couldn’t figure out what it was. At first glimpse I thought it was an old dart 330.
I was praying all night it wasn’t a Fox body!! Nothing against them at all, I actually love em but there’s too damn Many of em out there! But I’m extremely happy for you guys and can’t wait to see wait the “why brothers” do together!! It brings back memories of me and my brother many years ago!
That Falcon is awesome. As you said Billy, that car has some soul. An old "Grandpa"with some modern muscle built in to it. This will definitely add some nastalgia to your family. Have fun and I hope you're family stays safe. You guys are awesome.
Ohh my YES!! I join all others who have been a fan of the first gen Falcon for ever. Back in 1962 my highschool best friend sort of inherited his big sisters '61 straight 6, automatic Falcon. He drove the wheels off it just as would all kids from our generation. We took it thru fields, over jumps, spun brodies, etc., etc. and never hurt it. He bought a '64 El Camino our senior high year and passed the little Falcon down to his little brother. Most of us went off to VietNam or college after graduation and that was the last I saw of it. Since those days I've known a few who chose this body to build Super Gas/Pro Gas and gasser cars. YES, most were small block FORD powered - 289, 302, 347ci, etc. with an assortment of transmissions. Most popular was the bullet proof Chev PowerGlide. We're so looking forward to the SRC channel with Tommy handling the dutys in the pilots seat. Rock on SRC!!
When your buddies at Hughes get a hold of it, lots of your problems will be solved but first get a dyno for a base and see if the engine has any weak places. Other good news is...you have plenty of room to add weight in the trunk.
Those old Falcons where built to put 6 of your buddies in the trunk to go to the drive in movies in the early 1960's. Dam rights there's plenty of room.
Falcons are small, and you'd be lucky to get 2 buddy's in the trunk.
That converter needs to be tightened up
Im sure Hughes will take care of that little problem There's probably parts already being over nighted already. With another box of hats for the ole man 😉😉😉
Definitely !
And then it's Game on !
Oh SNAP!!! I learned a lot on a 65 Falcon Sprint my Dad had when I was a young man....Happy to see this in the family! Good luck with the EFI boys!
p.s. Your'e going to make an amazing Dad one day, Billy
Now here we sit not quite 2yr later. This is the BEST purchase racing wise that Billy has made bar none!! This car is a absolute beast and they have just been learning it have yet to lean on it. Billy has proven to be more than capable on the laptop kid was taught alot from the best Chief. I see 2023 this Falcon is gonna be tough to beat. TTG is an animal!!!
Im in love with the car! Tommy bout to take some names! Love how billy made sure car was safe before letting his brother drive!!!
I get wild ideas I can't shake all the time.....and my wife remembers every one of them ! LOL !
You too?.......LMAO!!!!!!!
Yeah man, it’s a guy thing! Just ask any one of us
yep me too and my wife can also remmber all of them from cars to tattooing to rc raceing drones fpv that ive been into for a few years now and i still drag race as well my mrs says im a big kid at 54 i say no love just a man that loves his toys lol have a great weekend everyone
LoL. That's how nearly ever business deal i got into and started happened. Thats how true American capitalism works, We build empires (Some big,Some small) off a crazy idea. I laugh at people that say that "The man" won't let you get ahead. Bull shit, as long as you have your heath and you're will to do what it takes. Then you can build something from nearly nothing in this country. It's not going to be easy, But NO ONE will work as hard as you do if you really want something. And I don't care what color your skin is, What God you pray to, Or who you sleep with. Why do you think people are willing to die in the 100+ degree heat of the desert. Or in a dark shipping container for weeks to just take a chance to set foot in this country. Or wait years and spend thousands of $$$ to legally navigate the US imagination system.
Once Tommy has his truck back, maybe Bill could run the falcon once in a while. 🤔
He doesn't care to race anymore....
Hey this could be a nice ole street car!!!!🤔🤔🤔
That thing is awesome. You guys are going to fall in love with the LS setups and the data/ tuning that comes with it. Hell, in just a couple passes you can see a huge difference.
I’ve been waiting for this video for 2 days now and it proves one thing, you put Bill and Billy’s minds together and they will figure it out quickly. And for that Eddie guy, here is proof that he is jealous of the father Bill Sr is. Proud of you guys, SRC family is top notch.
Eddy who.......... 🙏🇺🇲🏁
@@Pyle81 Eddie Grimes that started crap when they were at KD Drag strip the other week.
Looking forward to seeing you guys get into the LS platform. Still really dig the small block stuff but it'll be neat to see both.
Mike Lough Racing Engines for the win! Local engine builder 10 miles from me.
Billy, Dude.....I absolutely love the beginning of this video. Your editing skills are off the charts man. I recognize all that scenery from years of driving that road day and night summer and winter and every month in between. Your way you put a video together is pure art. Don't stop doing what you're doing, its definitely working.
You can feel it. That’s awesome
I don't care if it goes 9s in the eighth!! I love this car! I been looking for one for about a year!
Put a Lil more on the launch, looks bad fast with minor tune
That damn things gonna be nasty once it’s dialed. And like Sr said, tighter converter. Wish you guys the best diving into the LS and EFI world! 👍👍👍
#Hughes to the rescue.
I love it i had one with a straight axle with a 428 CJ . Damm I wish I kept that car . Good luck Tommy
i want a straight axel 60 ranchero
Billy, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE Don't throw that steering wheel away or remove that old AM radio away. "This car has soul" is a understatement.
I agree. Old soul too.
That thing was RRROLLIN' on the last hit. CONGRATULATIONS SRC!!! Tommy deserves it. Been a team player and supportive with zero complaints the whole way. Alot of people could learn alot by watching Tommy operate. Humble, supportive, loyal & positive. Now its showtime. BILLY & TIG. THERE BACK!!!! Go get'em boys.
I’ve been waiting for this video I’m excited to see what you guys do with this car
Change is always a learning process, hope you guys get what you're expecting
Damn, that thing is nice! So happy for you guys! It should be a fun ride! SRC to the front! Let's get it!!!!!!!!!
I'm die hard Ford and I don't like that business of sticking a Chevy there. After watching you all rock that thing, I'm stoked about it! Good luck and keep doing what you're doing!
Kinda looks like a future Molly car 😁 being a Ford that is 😉
Thank you. Been waiting all day. That’s car is cool. Can’t wait to see Tommy2Gunz drive that car.
Hell yea! I have a 63, 64 sitting on a 2018 chassis(unfinished) and now I just picked up a 66. Have all generations. The 63 is track car, 64 will be street cruiser, the 66 will be the drag car.
Thank you for getting the Falcon. I get tired of seeing the Camaro Firebirds Nova Chevy II S10 Mustangs to me doesn’t matter the drive train the shell is what sets you apart.
That falcon is going go rounds for sure ‼️ best of luck dialing it in
you should keep that car and put the old man in it after tommys truck is done i am not a ford guy but i love falcons and mavricks with chevy motors of coarse
Hell Ya! Gonna be nice to you and Tommy running. Good Luck Brother!
THING SOUNDS INCREDIBLE!!! I dont even care what it runs I just want to go to sleep listening to looped audio of the burnout!!! Haha
Congrats, it looks like a solid piece you can tune on. Best of all its painted to match Tommys socks :)
The body is just a rapper the goods are what’s inside
After watching many videos of the S 10 you can surely tell that the falcon is slower but they got themselves a very nice car to have fun with.
That is awesome Tegroe back behind the wheel. Good luck to both of you.
Y'all have inspired me so much! I'm driving a 1975 monza with bbc! Keep up the good work man!
I like the Monza and Vega. That engine compartment has got to be completely stuffed with a big block.
HAFRODs Builds sat for two years got it running took it to test and tune last Saturday got it back in the 6s
@@850outdoors That's awesome.
I've got a video on my account check it out
Definitely awesome car Bill and Bill I've always loved those old falcons 👍
Well... now time for a WHOLE new thing! You folks are going to need to upgrade the SRC Compound with all these toys and racecars. That little 2 bay+ isn't going to cut it anymore!
And now it's the most consistent and trouble free racecar out of the fleet.. way to go LS .. who ever built the falcon is a monster and needs their own channel
I loved lookn over that big ole steering wheel wow that was sweet
The horn button was made when cars like this had meaning. To find one that still has almost all of the oem interior at this day and age is pretty hard to do. There's guys that would drive a long way just buy that stuff if you decided to do something different inside of it.
Wow that really blew my mind I was like WHAT A FALCON lol but it looks sharp thank God it has a Chevy powerplant
I just went back through your videos because I never got to watch this video. Its awesome to see you drive through wheeling WV. I live 10 minutes away from there!! Hell yeah billy you guys are definitely doing some great things!
Old man was pretty happy messing with a FI, LS powered Ford. Congrats on the purchase. Best of luck this weekend.
I love ford falcons. It's just a shame it's got a chevy motor.
Everyone saying it was a mustang in the last post and asking me how I knew it was Chris pilatos car. Well, when he is from your area you tend to get to know the cars. BTW I heard you all at the airport. Literally 10 minutes from my place
It definitely looked like Ford Motor Company shock towers. Im NOT a Ford historian by any means. So my early 80's Fox Body guess was a little off. I guess it shows how well of a design those front ends where to continue to use them from the early 60's all the way into the mid 90's. Hell, I think they still utilized those on the Mustangs in the early 2000's. Again im not a FORD historian. This little car sure has the makings of something special for SRC.
@@Pyle81 1979-2004 is all the same fox body platform. Even then they didn't vary much from the fox design from 2005-2014. But either way the fenders even if i didn't know the car would of gave it away. I understand not everyone knows fords. But when I told people what it was they acted like I was crazy and didn't know when I literally know the car. Thats mainly what my OG comment is referring too
@@fourwheelerjock right the foxbody covers alot of fomoco cars from 70s-90s!! I learned this from dirt racing!!
Ive watched this car run a bunch at the Airport .Always hooks and leaves hard , im stoked you and the Fam are going to take that thing to the next level !!
One of my very favorite cars, a Falcon It looks nicely done too. It has the most important item you could wish for, a SRC sticker! It did not seem all 'that' as you said, but you folks are pro level tuners so you can get it where you need to go, (IMHO). Good luck to Tommy and you all.
Dad, try to be an inspiration for your sons and watch your language. They feed off of you and all of us will answer to the Lord someday, not criticizing you just trying to help.
I’m trying.
@@theoldmansgarage yes Mr Bill! My dad is pastor and loves ya channel so was excited to see this on daKid channel! He was lil disappointed in the language after the 3rd one..lol ! I am single father of two boys myself but moved in with my dad after losing my mom in house fire 2 years ago! So basically me and my 2boys are all my dad has left! Anyways he walked into living room one day over year ago when me and my youngest was watching SRC on UA-cam on the TV and since every day he ask me if there is new video on here...lol! We have no racing background but like watching and when the C virus shut baseball and oyher sports down in 2020 we started watching the cashdays on 6sixty and 1320 and then found yall! Anyway...cant wait ti see this car on the track and will proof watch SRC vids before show him cause he even said ya never used THAT MUCH bad language on the "garage" channel! He is human and even kinda gave ya an "excuse" of being excited but rather not hear it over and over! YALL BE SAFE AND RACE ON...HOPE to finally see yall in person when back in NC (Recon with Turbo John when he defends his "king of track") since missed Dig or Die cause youngest was at his moms for weekend with stepbrother!
Really ….it’s real life calm down the lord loves him either way the old man does great things
Ain't any lord sunshine and I think Bill and his family are descent people trying to do right.
I did all the paint & body on one of these 50 years ago, plus I crewed on it as well. This was Al Vanderslice's "Dutch Treat" that won B/A at the '69 March Meet. It had a aluminum head 427 FE with Hilborn's & a C-6. Ran consistent 10.90's, won 39 races in a row at Fresno.
Put your spin on it. This is a sweet ride. Awesome to see Tommy get back in the seat.. good luck this weekend SRC family
I dig the falcon, excited for your little bro, dig the previous owner's dually
OUTFRICKINGSTANDING!!!!!
That car's gonna be a BEAST!
Good luck this weekend Team SRC!
Heck yeah gentlemen. Y'all are awesome. Tommy's going to do amazing things in the Falcon. Watch out Billy, your bother is coming for you. This is going to be awesome. I love it. Y'all keep doing the amazing stuff y'all are doing and don't change the way y'all are. Y'all are great ppl. Anyone would be blessed to have friends and family like y'all. Thank you very much for all the awesomeness I get to watch through y'all. I greatly do appreciate it.
Love it! The old man’s ability to watch a pass and diagnose it in his brain, along with the data and power of an EFI system, I can see this experience pushing you guys to a whole new level.
I'm glad yall did that. TOMMY been a trooper and now he can race. Good call guys
had one my self ...actually towed my white blown small block chevy 61 falcon with the only registered 1959 ford Frontinac gasser, both white...(Falcon sold in Canada under this name for a second or two) straight axle in western Canada. was epic to see.. all emblems have Maple leaves in them! love that car...
I must say your videos are more real then most of the drag racing channels. Inviting the world into your family cant be easy. Thanks for the effort I for one enjoy them. stay safe
Hell to the Yes!!!!!!!! The Falcon flies again. That ol car looks sweet. I was born in 62 so anything in that era is dear to my heart.. Id call it "THE PHANTOM FREAKIN FALCON" or THE FREAKIN PHANTOM FALCON".
That's awesome!! I was so hoping that you were going to put Tommy in it. Im glad he finally gets a ride... and a sweet 1 at that!
@12:10,, "Thing looks like a little rocket sitting there doesn't it,," YES IT does. Well, the SRC team just need a little time and a gob a laps and they'll have that little FoMoCo taking Billy's S10 on in a grudge! :) If for no other reason than data collecting eh?
Yeah boi!!! Love the fact you guys don't go for the cookie cutter stuff.. Falcon FTW!!
U boy are really smart and know how to set up anything and I'm sure more seat time tommy gonna be flying hope y'all come home with the W an second
It's a sight to see everyone getting hyped and laughing we can feel the emotion coming through the screen. 💪 SRC Boys gettin' down
That first pass in a totally different car would be a nail biter. Especially with the builder watching! Cool little ripper !
Can't wait to see Tommy pedal to the metal in this little Falcon! Go over this car with a fine tooth comb: change oil and filter, cut open the filter; take off valve covers if they come off in the time allotted; check some valves, spring pressures; check as many nuts and bolts as you can!!! It's gonna be a little rocket!! Will need a much tighter converter for sure!!
That car is very cool. My little twin turbo Vega wagon turns a lot of heads man, but I really dig that Falcon. Looks very well built from what I could see. When you get it dialed in that car is gonna be plenty fast. Turnkey you can't really ask for more. Great find! Congratulations! Y'all Stay Fast and Be Safe!
Them were some pretty good passes and driving Billy for a car you've never made a pass in!! Good luck too you guys
Cool millennium falcon can't wait to see y'all in the winter circle. Good luck Tommy just be patient you'll get it you got good family to help.
I came home on my 16th birthday to two, 63 Falcons from the junkyard $100 each and a set of Buffalo wrenches. My uncle told me I could get one working car from the two with a little hard work.
I don't know what he was thinking but I put in the work. We just ran out of money. I did make a profit when I sold what was close to a running car. The fellow who bought it loved it.
I sure wish we could have finished the good one.
It was cool seeing the glue stick to the tire and stretch @12:18, shows how sticky that shit really is.
Im glad I wasn't the only one that picked up on that. Good eye.
Best investment for the channel to date by far. The falcon has made it awkward for alot of people alot of wins and can't wait to see what they can do with the new ride.
Definitely a "Run What Ya Brung" type race car....I approve ! :-)
One of my first cars had a 64 Sprint and a 61 coupe to haul my Shepard around and a flatbed trailer for bikes and mini bikes seeing that really brought back a flood of memories👍
There was one similar year, giant Blown BBC Tires so big you seen the tires end 1/2” between the pumpkin on both sides when you look at it from the back. Car was called shotgun. It was Engraved on the double barrel scoop on top of the blower. It was a,ways at the Smartie Arties car cruise in Dravosburg outside of Pittsburgh on Friday nights in the late 90’s when I was a teenager. That and the Phantom of the turnpike sedan delivery are the ones that stand out in my memory. This brings shotgun back for me.
Awesome!! Doesn't seem near as fast as truck but might need some SRC garage time!! Be careful Tommy ! SRC to the front and a new steering wheel would be a good start!!
