Noddy your an awesome old chap. I really like the way you end a interview. I wish i saw slade in concert back in the day. I would like to say i love all of the slade albums but one my favorite cds is whatever happened to slade. It rocks, really heavy sounding. Thanks noddy. rock on!
I love Noddy he's so candid and down to earth. The way he answers the question about being accused of fathering children is so funny, I expected him to say no, but he just comes out with "Several times."
l loved Slade l was a young boy and l was obsessed l had my bedroom walls coverd in pictures of the greatest band ever my dad. Even made me a guitar out of hardboard and spayed it silver fantastic
Noddy Holder is a fantastic interview !! Quick with wit and absolutely brilliant! I'd put a 3rd mortgage on me farm to have a tea and chat with him... Noddy... Noddy?? ... Sir?
Could listen to Nodd all day long such a genuine and fascinating man with all his life's stories and experiences in the music business. He wouldn't rip off or harm anyone plus I hope he brings out some mens toiletries lol. Slade my all time band since a kid and always will be the best by far live that ive seen so loud so tight and what a front man Nodd was.
Noddy Holder is my favourite singer of my favourite glamrock band SLADE! Love this guy, he laughs a lot, think he's a real nice guy with a Sunny character! Squeeze me, pleeze me, Noddy! :-)
One of the great Brit bands of the early to mid 70s, tight, talented and were really on top of their game and Noddy one of the the best frontmen of his generation. Had they not focussed so much on the U.S with endless tours they could have quit at the top at the end of the decade. Their 80s output never as strong or consistent but any band except for a few exceptions rarely have staying commercial power after 5-7 years. A handful of songs will live on for a long long time. MXE being the favourite of course but Everyday, Far Far Away, Gudbuy To Jane & How Does It Feel are the ones for me.😎👍
I was surprised to hear that he was considered to join ac\dc when bon scott died. He turned it down because he was dedicated to slade. Would have been intetesting to see how they would have sounded with the extra guitar. Great voice and loved slade.
The line on the side of a ship is 'The Plimsoll Line' named after the safety designer who yes as the name suggests influenced the sports shoe of the same name hence the line on a 'pair of plimsolls'
great bloke Noddy we are doing some work on his song come on feel the noise ukulele and quite like what weve done to it...if you message I'll email a copy to you..from Den / ukulele theatre
Still got the personality that made Slade magic. I did a survey quite a few years ago among all my old mates and all those who excelled in their chosen professions were actually loathed by their old PE teachers who all appear to have been sadists. heh heh heh. Unbelievable. Doesn't do much for the Olympic spirit. though. heh heh heh.
Yeah you got that right. They used to say bands in the eighties who crammed their old videos with gorgeous totty were covering something up, well in that case does this idea of two men bathing together have a hidden meaning too? The interviewer seems quite good at it. Rather than this crap why not have an interview wif Nod the God in a pub during last orders or a pub brawl. Maybe then they could actually remember to talk about his band days.
Just saw an interview of him from 1984. Too bad we all age. He was a handsome young fellow then. It's sad how he now sounds like an old man. You can hear it in his voice. So sad.
Favourite band. Noddy hasn't changed. Slade alive great album

What an absolutely wonderful guy, sounds like he is enjoying himself and life overall and it's so satisfying to see.
Noddy and the rest of Slade come across as the nicest guys you could meet.

It's great to see and hear my childhood hero doing so well, being healthy and happy. Looking pretty good too for his age i might add.

What the fuck is the bath theme all about?
I thought Alan Partridge`s deep bath was far fetched but it appears real Radio shows have stupid ideas too!
