Tess throwing her vote was such a good strategic move. She solidified herself as the swing vote. She will be great with either duo she chooses now
Also she actually know that ellie cold win the tie and she will be in the bottow with aiden if that happen + she know Ellie ins't trusted but is a shield she cold use ...
Soo if cyan team loses again she or should get revenge for Lake or take the bigger strengh theath that is Tom .
Definily i hipe she make final 3 because of that decision, and dont be the dumb for last time to agree being eliminated when she cold tried to they vote ally over her .
I disagree, she should’ve voted Ellie. Even if lake looses the tiebreaker, who do u think Tom would rather eliminate? Ellie or tess. But if lake looses the tiebreaker then lake is in the best position on that team so I guess it makes sense for her game, even tho lake was a loyal vote for tess

I gotta disagree. The move Tess made was for the best. Her throwing her vote for Tom means she's still in favor of Ellie and Gabby, and if Tom and Aiden want to survive, they have to completely rely on Tess' vote.
Also, Tess knows Ellie from college so she didn't want to vote her off.
Thank you for saying this. This was my thought exactly. I feel like you also need to take into consideration that Tess didn’t know who Tom was voting for so this way she didn’t accidentally force a tie and leave an enemy in the game. Plus I feel like it’s worth mentioning that Tess had like five minutes (honestly that’s probably being generous) to make her decision of what to do.

It's extremely smart from Tess' point of view.
Ellie is too powerful with her alliance with Gabby, and after that Elimination, she'd be even stronger.
If you payed an ounce of attention, you'd notice the whole reason why Lake was eliminated was because she showed a hint of disloyalty to Ellie, imagine if Tess voted for Ellie, she'd be next on Ellie's kill list.
Despite the obvious tension between Tom and Ellie, they're very smart competitors and know that voting together is the most beneficial way to progress.
If Ellie's eliminated, Tom would be next since he saw how close Lake, Aidan and Tess are, and Gabby can much easily make friends with them than Tom could.
It's called a hate buffer, you keep them around as long as possible because you know that they'd be eliminated before you, and Ellie is Tom's hate buffer, so voting her out is idiotic.
And Ellie knows that her alliance with Gabby and Tess is only so strong, and she needs another vote to guarantee her safety which is why she keeps Tom around, just in case Tess or Gabby decide to vote for someone else.
Tess realized this and couldn't vote for Ellie because it risks losing her alliance if Ellie won the tie breaker, but she couldn't, in good conscience, vote for Lake either, so voted for the only other person she didn't know personally.
Something I've noticed is the Season 1 cast is much more strategic than the Season 2 cast, seeing as both eliminations were the Season 1 cast voting together and the Season 2 cast splitting their votes.
Yeah I've noticed that the season 1 cast for the most part aren't friends but allies. Season two cast are really only here for their relationships instead of the pruze itself. Tess is weirdly enough the most strategic member of season 2. Likewise, Jake is the least strategic out of the season one cast.
I really like Ashley and Jake's friendship. Jake doesnt have anyone that takes his side ever. Ashley is a good friend and Jake needs that.

After seeing the first two eliminations, this shows me how the writers aren’t scared to boot off our favourite characters 😭😭 I am deathly afraid of who is gonna get eliminated next (IT BETTER NOT BE GABBY, TESS, ALEC OR GRETT)

I do think it’s smart for Tess to play the middle. It keeps her in good graces with Gabby and Ellie, and it also set up Tom and Aiden begging for her vote
Gotta say that this episode was really fun. Loved seeing all of the new character interactions this episode!
Alec and Connor were a pair that I didn’t expect but REALLY enjoyed! Really hope to see more of them throughout the season. Ally has also become a lot more interesting within the first few episodes already imo! And I think her and Hunter represent two different ways people take in hate comments on social media. There are people like Ally who take any and all hate to heart (which same girl LOL) , meanwhile Hunter doesn’t seem to care because he has a “they don’t really know me” type of mindset. While I understand where Hunter was coming from, it felt wrong for him to completely disregard Ally’s feelings.
Jake and Ashley’s friendship is definitely going to be interesting to follow throughout this season. I like how Ashley is able to validate some of his feelings while also telling him to not jump to conclusions.
Even though I’m not a big Riya fan, I am actually getting somewhat invested in her and Connor’s drama. Her feeling as if she needs to put on a fake persona so that she can be successful in her life. Hopefully it’ll be written much better than season 2.
Also the elimination HELLO!? I was fully expecting Lake to make it to the final five at the most but second eliminated!? Damn! It was also really intriguing seeing how opposite her and Ellie are. Lake not being willing to throw Aiden under the bus to win while Ellie will throw away her morals. I really do hope we see Lake back again playing a cameo role later on!
Overall, loved this episode and your reaction!! Your performance as Trevor was also stellar as always!
I remember us talking about shocking early eliminations for all stars back when the cast wasn't even finalized yet, but I had no clue they actually went with Lake as more than just a "wouldn't it be funny if..." situation
I think tess did the right thing, she knows ellie can have the game in her own hands and she won't make herself a target just so she can be loyal to one of her friends
Top tier episode nobody can tell otherwise
Tess move wasnt even bad, that was a good move for her to survive in the game, Tom and Aiden will probably keep being friends even though he voted for Lake, also Gabby and Ellie are pretty unsepareble, so Tess would be in the middle again so the future of the Cyan team is in her hands.
This episode was great! Honestly when lake was out I literally screamed ELLIE YOU BIG BRAINED QUEEN
When I found out Alec and Conner were on the same team I was so happy because they were like my favorite characters from their seasons (I loved Kai too) and them interacting is just my favorite thing ever-
I assumed that that would probably be who Alec stuck by if he could (unless he befriended Riya- but either way he was probably going to get close to Connor in the beginning because Miriam voted him out and Gret and Yul are kinda against everyone else) but seeing Connor sticking by Alec? I love it so much-
I also love that Alec is like kinda helping Fiore off on the sidelines- I'm expecting him to double cross her soon but oh well, it's nice for now.

I think the betrayal will come way later. Assuming he does betray her. I think she’ll be 100% loyal to him this time though. Considering he’s the only ally she really has. However he doesn’t fully trust her with good reason. So him being completely loyal to her wouldn’t make as much sense.

I think my disagreement of your take on Tess's move makes me realize something, Tess went on DC for the money and she was sure that she would have no connections emotionally. This time around she is driven by her motions and adding that to her game strategy. Old Tess would have just said whatever and went with Ellie. The writing team slays.
I see alot of defense for Tess’s burn vote in the comments. I get the argument, but I slightly disagree it automatically puts her in power.

In their own ways, Ellie is currently leading her team, but Ellie’s power especially if she gets cocky (which is character flaw of hers when she even thinks is in a good position), can be is usurped.
With Tom voting Lake, Aiden is not going to be happy with Tom. Also, Tess’s burn vote for Tom is as playing it safe to not risk a tiebreaker working against her favor. However, people overlook Tess actually wanted to vote out Ellie based on her ending confessional. The elimination sets up a cycle of transgression between Aiden, Tess and Tom. In S2, Aiden was the swing that ousted Tess. Tess burned her vote on Tom. Tom voted Aiden’s closet ally, Lake. While things are fractured between the three of them, it can be repaired as all transgressions are on a game level. A lot of Tess’s power will depend on how if she can connect with Tom since I can see Ellie target Tess next over Aiden or Tom. If she does connect with Tom (which there is something she can do to make that happen if you about her in S2), Tess can get the firepower to blindside Ellie out of the game next.
If nothing much happens with them or the focus with Tom is more with Gabby or still on Aiden, Ellie is going to screw over Tess. Notably, Ellie will think she doing Tom another “favor” by sending one her allies out while keeping his little buddy around. In turn, everyone knows Ellie is only Aiden around viewing him as the easiest to beat in a tiebreaker as a worst case scenario. Meanwhile, Tess and Aiden will think Tom is Ellie’s puppet when Tom is trying to keep himself and Gabby safe with needlessly upsetting Gabby. While Tom and Aiden have been bonding, people are overlooking Gabby helped Tom get his current job as a cop.
That said, Tom is not exactly in position of power right now. It will likely be Ellie again or Tess, depending how the next episode goes.
I think it was an amazing idea that Tess threw her vote because of 2 reasons. 1. It shows that Tess is thinking further down the road and not just in the moment, which is very smart. And 2. Tess didn’t burn any bridges, except with Tom(who she barely knew anyways).

Your reaction to this episode was really awesome. Even i was shock on how the elimination played out because i thought Lake was gonna go to the final 3. I predicted that she would at least finished second place in the game. I don't know whats gonna happen in the next episode,but I'm excited to see what happens next in all stars.

This episode was intense! I can’t believe Alec is pulling all the strings, he has Miriam sabotaging for him, saving Fiore and could possible recruit Connor. I don’t know what Riya’s deal is, she won’t make it to merge unless she stops fighting with Yul. Cyan team might be ok if they keep an eye out from sabotages. Seeing the staff interacting was fun, im hoping Derek and Trevor get their own episode.

I get that you don't like Riya but dismissing her as an evil person is just not true or fair. I mean c'mon the conversation with Connor proved underneath she's a good person. A total evil person wouldn't be talking about her vulnerabilities and struggles and she showed multiple times how thankful she's for Connor putting with her attitude. Her decision to end things with him was a mature decision and even though it was done for selfish reasons it's showed she cares about Connor feelings. As you done character analysis I thought you would at least acknowledge some things I just mentioned.

Lake was with James in the opening, with no hint as to her storyline this season. I'm not hugely surprised by her going in retrospect. (Possibly a little in the moment) I'm betting yellow is losing a player next, and it might be Miriam since she was mostly on her own, but she might be a villainous force this season, so I'm not packing her bag just yet.
