While it may be fun to watch a big rotator you can see elsewhere, you can really measure a man's skill when he is underequipped but gets the job done with what he has as opposed to his preferred truck. Making the smaller truck do the job is great to watch.

@@SumterWrecker Just to make a little light of the situation. I'm an over the road trucker with about 27 years experience. A couple of years ago, I did a boo-boo. Not this bad, but I did stick my front tires up into some guys back yard, that edged along a commercial warehouse. Oh yea, the home owner seen me do it, & he called the cops. They told him there wasn't nothing they could do about that. So anyway he was double pissed off. He came out as I had just got loaded & was doing my bills. He came up casually & struck up a conversation about the situation with me. I knew I did wrong & admitted guilt to the guy. I tried to show him that I wasn't the only one using his back yard as a pivot point. At the same time I was feeling bad for the guy because I knew I did wrong. I asked him If I could fix his back yard up in a way where it would protect itself from other truckers like me, if that would please him. He said yes it would. I told him a local landscaping crew would be by within the next week & show him the plans. We shook hands & off he went with my name, phone number, Company I drove for & number to my Safety Director, & my drivers license number, just incase the landscaping crew didn't show up he would be able to file a damage report to his home insurance company with a police report. I contacted a local landscaping crew who was more than willing to help us out. They had a big mammoth rock that just found itself a new squatting place. Along with a few flowers & some sod, his back yard was appealing again. The old boy emailed a picture of the yard after it was complete. Looked pretty good. It cost me just a little over $1250.00 for using his back yard as a pivot point. I'm glad he didn't file charges on my dumb butt, & was happy to pay the bill.

Have you ever watched those videos of big trucks over loaded and attempting to cross a bridge built out of plywood?🤪 And some actaully make it. Well they just don't have the same concerns as westerners, like private property, and road rules, everything is just go go go,and if you get stuck ,then all the villagers gather around and physically lift the truck out of the hole. And also along with the weight ,oh it's not heavy not much...it's all good what's the difference between 10 to 100? No problem. I'd like to add, drivers in the 50,s in the western world, had some pretty horrible accidents. I remember one guy, thought he could beat a freight train got stuck on the tracks and him nor his front end of the rig were seen again. It isn't that this just started happening,it's that we all have video cameras now,and there are thousands of more idiots on the road. I don't want to leave anybody out,it's not a race thing,it's just perspective, and then don't even get me going about the drugs ,truckers doing all sorts of crazy drugs. And having all sorts of shenanigans behind the wheel of the big Riggs ,and that's not a new thing. Well ,stay aware ,stay safe, and again It would get the better of me ,and I would have to point out just how incredibly ideotic these guys are...I'd need special training, councilling if I were a trucker , especially if I were a tow driver. Peace!
I drove a truck 40 years and I never ever wore yellow shorts and boots and not to mention I never would let myself get in a situation where I would drive into someone's yard to turn around. Great job Mr. Hal.
Mr. Hal , I'm not going to taint your channel with my Opinion . If that was my property , well I guess you know what I've got on my mind . Great video and again you had to use the shovel instead of the truck driver . I don't know how you tolerate some of the people . Stay Safe Sir .
Looks to me like yet another driver who found his CDL in a box of Cracker Jacks. I started driving professionally in 1972, no CDL's back then, you had to get a 'chauffeur license'. And it wasn't easy to get unless you really knew how to handle a big rig and could prove it. Seems now if you can sit in the seat and your feet reach the pedals and you can see over the steering wheel that's the only requirement. Common sense optional. Great job, Hal and Joe!
LOL...... Hal, when you said that that driver can't drive very well I would say that was a pretty fair assumption given the spot he was in, frankly, I don't know how in the world he got his CDL.

Mr. Hal I drove truck for a short time, pawpaw told me once " yah got truck driver's then yah got wheel holder, I used to deliver rolls of paper as tall as the box trailer and 2" from the walls of trailer when I lived up north ( central Maine) paper mill would load heavy then hauled it to New York City, point is that a driver should never turn around in a residential yard yah don't do it. As always awesome 5 🌟 video you and Joe I believe did an amazing job God bless y'all from Gaffney South Carolina viewer 🙏❤️💯

Retired trucker here great tow truck work but as for the driver its time to find a new career. Cardinal rule don,t go on private property. If he worked for BWM all your work would comes out of his pocket the lawn repair too.

Peace!
Mr Wynott thanks for watching and commenting. Those were some valid points. Stay safe
I drove a truck 40 years and I never ever wore yellow shorts and boots and not to mention I never would let myself get in a situation where I would drive into someone's yard to turn around. Great job
Mr. Hal.
Mr Terry thanks for viewing and commenting. Stay safe out there
I think the homeowner should have gotten the sheriff to come out and write the guy up for the property damage.
Mr John The sheriff department did come out before we arrived. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Mr. Hal , I'm not going to taint your channel with my Opinion . If that was my property , well I guess you know what I've got on my mind . Great video and again you had to use the shovel instead of the truck driver . I don't know how you tolerate some of the people . Stay Safe Sir .
Mr D Vint thank you for commenting and stay safe
Hate to see the bill on that one. Two heavy duty wreckers plus property damage. Not cool.
Mr Allen thank you for watching our videos and stay safe
Looks to me like yet another driver who found his CDL in a box of Cracker Jacks. I started driving professionally in 1972, no CDL's back then, you had to get a 'chauffeur license'. And it wasn't easy to get unless you really knew how to handle a big rig and could prove it. Seems now if you can sit in the seat and your feet reach the pedals and you can see over the steering wheel that's the only requirement. Common sense optional. Great job, Hal and Joe!
Tanker Yanker thanks for watching our channel and stay safe
When you know that you are stuck...stop ! Don’t dig a hole.
Red eyed Mongoose. That sure would make our job easier and less damage. Thanks for watching our channel and stay safe
i love your old truck
Mr Everett She is little rough but runs and works very well. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Ausome video thanks
Mr Alan thanks and thanks for watching our channel. Stay safe
Great job, he really made a mess out of the yard.
Mr Brad thanks for watching our channel and stay safe
LOL...... Hal, when you said that that driver can't drive very well I would say that was a pretty fair assumption given the spot he was in, frankly, I don't know how in the world he got his CDL.
Homeless Nomad Yes sir. I wish I filmed him leaving. He tried to make a right turn from the right side. Thanks for watching our older videos and stay safe.
I would bet that less than 10 % of the winch outs are simple. Well done Mr.Hal
Mr Dean 4357 That is probably a good number. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Mr. Hal things like this blow my mind. What in the world was he doing down there in the first place. Probably following his GPS.
Mr Charles I think he was turning around. Thanks for watching and stay safe
i guess the driver thought it would be a good idea to make a u turn on someone’s front lawn
Classic xl Yes sir but he did not plan on getting stuck. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Mr Daniel That is a true statement. Thanks for watching in Gaffney and stay safe.
Great video. But what makes me wonder is why the driver (company) was running trailer tires on drive axles? Granted it is legal to do so, but you arent going to have the traction you need for situations like this. Great video guys. Keep up the work and stay safe out there
Mr Curtis Thanks and we appreciate you watching our older videos. Stay safe
40 yrs OTR. That man has NO right to be behind the wheel. You were a gentleman to him. WOW.
Mr Symonds thanks and thank you for watching our channel. Stay safe
Retired trucker here great tow truck work but as for the driver its time to find a new career. Cardinal rule don,t go on private property. If he worked for BWM all your work would comes out of his pocket the lawn repair too.
Vega 1975 yes sir very true. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Nobody can figure out what truck drivers are thinking.
Tired old mechanic That is true. Thanks for watching our channel and stay safe
Great job getting him out with minimal property damage. I agree with you what in the heck was he thinking. I can't say I've never been lost but common sense plays a big part and I think I'll stop right here
Bigdawgbusa2 thanks for watching and stay safe
Awesome job well done.
Mr Albert we appreciate that. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Good thing for soft dirt 😊
Mr Clem Yes sir. Thanks for watching and stay safe
MR. Watts !!!! Kinda looks like a ""GPS"" issue as always !!!! The Driver sure knows how to do $$ 50K damage in 5 mins. !!!! Their INSURANCE CO. sure ain't gona like that bill for sure !!! Hope ALL is well with the OWNER when this issue is done !!! ""KEEP IT SAFE "" & have a good rest of the week !!!
Mr KB Hopefully they will do the right thing and fix it. Thanks for watching and stay safe
I hate to stereotype but when he said the driver didn’t speak English it made sense.
Mr Donald thanks for watching our channel and stay safe
I bet the home owner wasn't very happy with that driver
Mr Luke He had a copy of certificate of insurance before I was able to winch and I don't blame him. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Where in the heck was he going . He had no place to go any further forward. Thats probably what got him stuck is when he stopped and tried to back up and the truck sat still long enough to sink down some
Mr Vaughn I am sure. I think he was hunting a fuel stop. Thanks for watching and stay safe
Mr. Hal was he trying to turnaround in someone’s yard?
Mr Jose I think he was. Thanks for watching and stay safe
