I can't imagine how the driver ended up like this. It's not like he missed by a little. Crazy. I wonder if that driver still has a job. Looks like it was a tough pull, but experts make it look easy.
We just got power back and I had to check on Sumter Wrecker after the storms. This recovery used the wrong equipment. You would have to have 2 rotators, 1 Skid steer, 50 traffic cones and 2 police cars ! Great job by Mr. Wilbert and Caleb. Love to see the Pete working !!! Rollbacks are everywhere here in SW Florida. Headed to Miami with drowned cars. Stay safe guys !!
@@SumterWrecker He was joking. Coz people use rotator for even for small jobs. But I agree, rotator would make short work of this. I see similar jobs to this with rotators and spreader bars. They more lift then pull. You guys have any plans for rotator? Or there is not enough hard jobs to spend on rotator?
S W I F T swing wide it Fricking trailer . Could been bad if didn't drive tractor in ditch because if didn't the trailer been down in the ditch for sure . Good Job getting him out
A couple of minutes inattention sure makes a mess of the tractor unit and puts a dent in somebody's pocket book. BTW, this isn't your favourite recovery spot is it, difficult to tell in the dark.
Based on my experience watching YT videos, I would have considered putting winch lines on both sides of the nose of the trailer, and had the other wrecker lift the steer axle and pull it in together. Raising the trailer would have raised the rear of the tractor at the same time.
I noticed as they were doing a side pull the out side front tire broke from the rim, I noticed a cloud of dust when it broke. Do you fix the tire? It was he drive axle.
Nice recovery guys stay safe out there!
Merciful Towing Thanks. I would have loved to had your rotator on this job. Thanks for watching and stay safe
@@SumterWrecker i was thinking the same thing... that's a great spreader bar job! Lol. I'll sell it to ya! Lol
