Massaged raw kale works great in a salad. In a bowl drizzle olive oil over torn leaves with stems removed. Then squeeze and squeeze the leaves in the bowl in your hands until it is soft and tender. Also recomment a squeeze of lemon juice with it. The lemon reduced the absorption of oxylates. Then add healthy toppings
I made a huge vegetable soup today, and I’m so glad to say I included most of the vegetables that are best cooked! Thank you so much. This is a great way to get my veggies in.
This was so informative. I usually cook almost all of my veggies, which were the overall preference here as well. But I make a smoothie everyday with kale in it (and blueberries). And I too prefer my onions cooked, though maybe I can get used to as well! Great video. I just subscribed.
❤ wow Ms nurse and your self are teaching me a lot about vegetables and fasting and I thought I knew it guess not all my years of fasting I've been doing it wrong all my years of vegetable eating I've been doing it wrong thank you
So my Grandpa used to eat onions like an apple. He would just take a bite out of it chewed up and swallow it. It was pretty crazy and he also liked raw onion sandwiches and I actually do. Enjoy those too. But he was definitely an onion and garlic fanatic and eating them raw.

I'm a big proponent of adding raw veggies to your smoothies. I have a large smoothie every day... one day I add berries and the next day I add keto veggies, switching back and forth like that to maintain super health.
I have to eat most of the veggies cooked because of digestive issues. Glad to know spinach is also better for you cooked. And I honestly did not know you could eat zucchini raw. Carrots are more nutritious cooked??
We had a bumper crop of homegrown Kale last year. I dehydrated the leaves, froze them and have been adding cupfuls of the dried leaves I to soups and casseroles all year long. I figured it was better to get it down then skipping it.
So this is great beneficial video I don't follow your channel but I did want to watch this but I think you should also be putting how they should be cooked. Because people don't understand the way things should be cooked the right way. There's things that can be cooked the wrong way. There should be a video on the right weight of cooking these vegetables.
Great video. I love your vitamin D 👌🏽. 2 Question 🙋🏽♀️.. I thought eating certain vegetables like peppers etc can over time create micro tear in your gut lining. What vegetables are those or is this even true? Finally you are still not shipping to the (USVI) territories & my supplies have to go elsewhere before being reshipped to me. Can you please fix that?
I found your videos today, I ha a question.. I have painful knee arthritis, Because of that I don't eat tomatoes, potatoes eggplant and as a mexican, also all peppers. But I was told that black pepper and cayenne are ok. Am I doing the right thing? I do miss the bell peppers and tomatoes the most. What is your opinion on this Dr. LivingGood?

Overall I would not be worried about eating lectin containing foods unless you know you have sensitivities to those foods. Processed food, sugars, and bad oils are way more important to focus on. Many of the foods containing lectins have a lot of health benefits to outweigh the negatives for most people. Lectins can also easily be minimized by fermenting veggies, sprouting nuts, and cooking the grains/beans. -LGD Team

Tomatoes are really bad for you. Unless you take off the skin and take out the seeds. It really bad for you. I know because they were wreaking havoc on my body with my inflammation and my body pain. So please get that straight to some people and you didn't bring in Brussels. Sprouts which are very good for women who have more problems and hot flashes. And stuff. You guys, are you putting Brussels sprouts in here?

I love onions raw
Cook vegetables in a covered glass bowl in a microwave. They cook in their own moisture and retain about 85% of all the nutrients. Only takes a few minutes and the veggies come out perfect
Some vegetables should not be put in the microwave. example, broccoli loses approximately 97% of its flavonoids in the microwave.
Never tried raw zucchini. Gotta check that out!

I never knew you had to heat veggies to ''unfreeze'' them. I was doing it completely wrong, I was letting them thaw out in the fridge.
Thaw is the correct wording vs unfreeze
