Agreed this is pretty darn good. FYI, while I'm not much of a fan of theirs, Panic at the Disco did a pretty damn good cover of this years ago that I still jam out to from time to time. I think it was live in Denver. I recommend

Wow! That was unexpectedly cool. I heard this band for the first time and honestly I'm tired of covers of Radiohead. But it was extremely cool, professional, emotional and very powerful. Amazing.

Well, god damn, see I thought they’d do a good job on this when I saw it but never knew how good it was until now, this is amazing and these guys killed it. I’m now wishing they had a whole covers album because this was great.
Theyve covered a few pop songs and theyre way better then youd think trust me, look up “pop goes punk pierce the veil”
If you told me that Pierce the Veil would have maybe my favourite LAV of the year I’d laugh you out. But damn did they do it justice. Captured enough of the original but put enough of their twist on it to sound like them.

ptv got me into emo, i appreciate the genre a lot more now ❗️
i think what makes this cover so good is that theres none of those "ugh" or "ouch" moments where the singer covering the song tries to prove, subtley, theyre better than the original singer and completely singing out of atmosphere. whereas vic and the band are playing very unified, theres no moments where youre waiting for it to get to the good part. its the whole cover. between the vocals and the instrumentals, its simply a beautiful song.

Wish we could see an actual performance. This studio music video thing is always a tease. Can nobody else in the band sing and try to do the backing vocals? A band at their level shouldn't have to rely on so much post production and be okay with overdubbing some backing vocals. Wish it could be raw. Missed opportunity.

lol they’re a post-hardcore band. It’s their version of the song, not a cover to sound exactly like Radiohead.
LOVED this. The attention to detail is superb. For example, the high-hat hold at 4:05 made me so happy...I've always wondered in the original recording if it was an error or intentional, yet you replicated it perfectly! Thank you.

Not joking when I say this but this is one of the greatest covers of all time.
Is the LetLive's drummer before?
The genre they perform usually takes a bit of flack but looking at the covers that genre or type of artist seems to not only perform them best in terms of timing, tone and just musicality in general but sometimes when they want to make the cover their own. Not to say their aren't fantastic artist of all genres and throwing one out there is Jessie J. But there are tons of great artists just weird the emo bands often get made fun cause of "how they sing" when ain't nobody else getting up to that range. Adam Lambert probably the exception. But it's just a style like any other.

It takes a lot to get me to admit that a cover of one of my all-time favorite band’s songs is actually any good. Pierce the Veil just proved me wrong. This is absolutely one of THE BEST covers I have ever heard, not just of a Radiohead song, but of ANY song. My 18yo son sent this to me this morning and I had a huge smile on my face by the end of listening to it… totally made my day! You guys f*cking slayed this song! 🤘Just beautiful 🥹
