Its a big indian family, theyre all brothers and help each other scam ppl
had one of those lasses call at my mum's .. I was there and took over, and just patiently took in all the stuff she told me to do on the windows machine, despite my parents only use linux and no windows in these homes.. anyway.. after a good 20 minutes, I just started telling her to fuck right off and hopefully someone fucking **** her at the end of the day and what not.. they called one more time apparently then they gave up ,)
Sadly no. This is a routine thing for this bunch. Some can be down right nasty, while some super fake friendly while attempting to rape your life.
The sad part is that there's still people scammed for real. No matter how bad their English is and even to me, an Italian, it smells Indian from miles away, some people take the bait and let them get in their PCs and even pay them or get syskied 😔
Ratting them is the only way. Syskeying their PCs, flooding their call centers with fake calls using random numbers generator and force them to at least change number, if cyber police don't close their online activity.

rPi PiXEL is not a virtual machine, its an operating system, hes running the VM (Raspbian w/ PiXEL) on windows 7, that's all.
you cant run windows 7 on VM in a rpi..... so im confused, what is he doing here in this vid? i believe he actually has a windows pc running a VM with multiple different OSes like raspbian and another windows... but im not sure lol
raafmaat There is a VM for Teamviewer to run on as it can't run on a RPI maybe and it is not running on the host as they could destroy it.
Sorry, I worded what I said wrong (fixed) as I was originally just pointing out the VM part. He's running Raspbian w/ PiXEL on a VM (The desktop you see in the window is what PiXEL looks like, using the chromium browser, etc) The windows 7 part is the host, aka.. His computer. There is not a physical rPi in the entire scenario... If hes not on Win 7 himself then he has just named the PiXEL image as Windows 7. (Just covering all my bases as my original reply came off wrong). - The background very likely a rainmeter theme (Like Shield OS) I just never use that crappy themeing system so I couldn't say 100%.
.. and I have no idea what Health Mitchell is saying, teamviewer isn't in this video or even related..

yeah i figured it was probably a windows pc with a VM running rpi , but that doesnt really explain how he popped up the win7 info screen with the processer and windows version etc showing, how did he bring that up from within the VM? normally its impossible to bring up your own PCs programs within a VM wich is emulating a different OS....
also you can see firefox, while there is no firefox for raspbian... (there is a fork called iceweasel tho)
so how did he pull this off showing all this stuff within the VM?

I would suggest Windows XP instead of Windows 7. It has easier access to the "hosts" file, which makes for some fun options for messing with these people :) They often seem to want to go to specific websites, and with the hosts file you can override whatever DNS is being used and make a website point at another IP address. I made it go to a porn site whenever they tried to go to Google or Western Union.
