A neighbour of a friend of mine bought his son a Raspberry Pi when they first came out. He was a troubled lad with a bleak future ahead of him, but next year he should start a computing course at Cambridge University. They money he has made from Apps that he has written should earn him enough to pay his fees, rent, and a whole lot more. A true piece of magic.
Why some people are commenting about his VOICE and or his ACCENT, instead of the content of the video. Try to learn a new language and we will see about your accent.
English is actually the national language of india next to hindi. We do not need to learn a new language when indians are taught english. The big issue is that the people that teach indians english have been taught english with the same accent for generations. His video is good but hard to decipher without subtitles
Nice video, a bit heavy on the accent, but mostly coherent. Maybe try turning the music down a bit? Anyway, I can appreciate that you actually bought and tested a Pi instead of just compiling info from online sources. (I am aware that this is almost 5 years old)
Wow, this video has been very helpful. It has cleared my doubts about Raspberry PI. I have the same external HDD WD 2 terabyte!!! +mrinal Saha, do u edit the videos urself??
+mrinal saha Seriously, they are so cool. how do you combine all these? you are almost in every field of IT, and you are good at it too. Could u please do a video about urself like Q&A, where you tell us more about urself or guides to help people in IT field. I would be very glad.
That was really helpful. Just got a good idea of the scope of these devices and I really like the idea of a media server. I think I will build one. Thanks.
Great video, you summed it up perfectly ! I wish I had seen this before, would have saved lot of time by collecting bits and pieces from various other sources
IndiCoder have you tried your hand on the raspberry pi? I was able to use it as a XBMC however I am trying to get the best possible alternative for a set top box..
Wow. I didn't know. I just woke up from the year 1984. My TRS-80 is broken. The year 2018 is soooo amazing! Well done friends of the future. As usual... THanks For THinkin!!!!
Hi! thanks for teaching the basics. Could you also help me by telling what can I do if i want to make speedometer of a car and add few other things which work simultaneously(for example, stopwatch or time)? (Please help me out, I'm going crazy)
Thanks bro. It's the most informative video on pi after long time surfing. I had a doubt of we wanna use it as a NAS server . How to achieve required voltage for all the hard drives i connect to the 4 usb ports . Any suggestions please
Colossus built at Bletchley Park July 1942 was the FIRST electronic computer in the World. The American ENIAC was actually based on a single element of Colossus, the binary calculation and had none of the logic operations you would normally associate with any computer. This means that first computer after Colossus would go to the Lion built for food company in England Lyons. Since Colossus was associated with code breaking its existence remained a secret till the 1980's.
I’m getting a pi 3 b+ starter kit with noobs preloaded. I do not have a laptop or desktop only a tablet. How do I turn my pi into an emulation system for video game consoles, keeping in mind all the info I’ve provided.
Nice intro video for RPi newbies. NAS server idea is good, but this is the wrong board. With only 100M network and USB2, this is too slow to be a real NAS. The Ordoid XU4, which has 2GB RAM, 8-core, 1000M network and USB 3.0 support is much better. Using minimal Ubuntu 16.04 LTS, with NFS/SMB and a 4TB USB3 external drive, this can serve up data at nearly full network GigE speeds. .deb packages for RPI can be used on Odroid, as the CPU is still ARM and compatible between RPi and Odroid. I've not tried any GPIO programming on Odroid, so I don't know if the RPi GPIO dev library works, likely not. I've seen reviews of Odroid using it as a desktop computer, and it is decent, with 8-cores. Unfortunately, this XU4 form factor isn't the same as a RPi, but they sell cases for $6 or so if you buy from Ameridroid, so that isn't a real issue.
Look how far we have come with Raspberry Pi 4 Model B 4GB - ua-cam.com/video/bXXPjmG5UNY/v-deo.html
I came here from that video coz i wanted to know more about Raspberry Pi :P
Great video :)

BS Moket. I speak Eng/Fr/Sp and I have a hard time listening to him. What are YOUR qualifications??? Get a life!
Wrong a languange includes grammar and phonetics, or else is intangible.
I dont mean to sound like an ass but I do too have a problem trying to understand him
Irfan Spirtovic honestly I want to know. What is the first then? I’ve always thought it was English
