That's a portable blow torch but small enough to always have. Imagine if you've got caught out somewhere because you're lost and maybe you took a tumble into a creek and got all wet and it's chilly. This is an easy way to start a fire if you've collected some wood. Especially if it's slightly damp and your fine motor skills are slowing down on you because of the cold.

I think if you used thinner twigs you'd have got a fire going, a bit dubious why the video ended before the flames came up. Not for me plenty of cheaper ways to start a fire.

Here is the reason behind the shipping charge
The Ultimate Match is classified as Articles Pyrotechnic with a UN0431 (1.4G) shipping code. This means that it can’t be shipped with any normal courier. The order needs to ship with a Specialist Dangerous Goods courier and have the correct accompanying paperwork (DGN - Dangerous Goods Note). In time we would like to get these stocked in high street shops which will remove the shipping costs for people.
