One of my favaourite pieces written for symphony orchestra. A true gem in orchestra repertoire. Moves every time you listen to it or conduct it. Hope it makes people days as good as it makes mine.
Glad you enjoy it. I've always been a sucker for interesting orchestration. One reason I fell in love with Saint-Saens' Symphony No. 3, also on this channel.
Thanks for the music to the Haydn Variations on such high resolution score video. Love the work you are doing. I was just wondering how the music to these videos are licensed. Is the original owner contacted and asked if the music can be used? Is the music taken from a specific place where copyright is dealt with? Do you just take the music from somewhere and put a disclaimer in the description and UA-cam marks that the music is not owned? Would love to know.
Well, the majority of the music that I use is taken from UA-cam itself. Now, UA-cam has agreements with record labels such that their music can be played in UA-cam videos, and the record label receives the resulting ad revenue in compensation. Even if I were otherwise eligible for monetization of my videos, that money would still go to the copyright holder of the original recording. I do have a disclaimer that I do not own the component parts of the video as standard language in my descriptions, and if you look below the, you can see the license and publisher listed by UA-cam, along with a link to their version of the original recording. There are still sometimes problems, with a few of my videos getting blocked, some of them by accident due to the automated system identifying the wrong performer. And, I'm more than happy to take requests for future videos.
