Do a word study from the Bible, KJV. use the words religion, Religious and the word TRUTH. Truth is mentioned 330 times, the other two don't get past five. Jesus proclaims himself as the Truth. John 14:6. Ecclesiastes 12 is a very enlightening chapter. For somebody like you seeking knowledge through book learning. You need to start with the TRUTH. It is your only defence against what is presented as the truth. Anyway, May God give you a Damascus Road experience as he opens your eyes to His truth.
The question I am left scratching my head now with, what is the prime mover that moves one to envy if made sinless. Back to Freewill? The absence of the beatific vision would indicate that each creature is given a test to essentially accept God's will or reject it. Thus, the test is to trust God but without having full knowledge of what it means to not trust in God. It is said that the angels were not able to repent but man has a finite life to repent. These are just my random thoughts.
there's a reason why it's nearly universally referred to as the *mystery* of evil. Like many (all?) of the most profound truths of the faith, I think no matter how deeply we analyze the issue of Satan's fall we're left with incomplete understanding. Thank you very much for your insightful comments.

Maybe the devil thought his kingdom of hell was his alternative exalted vocation where he really was Lord over his own kingdom. Those in hell serve the devil imitating the saints in an inverted way who serve the Lord in heaven. The angel's permanent exile caused the Lord's permanent loss of extrinsic glory, causing God a permanent loss. In this way the devil did gain some victory over God. The mystery of iniquity does include the divine participation in the loss of angels who permanently fell into perdition.
@@NuLeif My observations are consistent with the devil's fall through envy. A desire to destory God's plan for man can include a desire to remove God's glory by the angel's fall. Ironically humanity's glory includes enthronement on the thrones lost by the angels.
@@NuLeif I watched the video and made a comment. The reasons for the devils fall are multiple. The devil is the Lord of the world in competition with God. Several titles of the evil one are given in competition with Jesus such as the light bearer and Prince indicating the devil imitates God in his diabolic kingdom of iniquity.

The Rise of Zion, New Jerusalem Church will reside in the Second Coming Presence of the Holy Trinity, living in the ‘Divine Will’. Jesus will Rule with and through His ‘New Jerusalem’ Church, which will be the Revelation 4, 12 Catholic elders and 12 Jewish elders, 24 combined elders, under Messianic Reign on earth, in Jesus’ Kingdom Come on free willed earth. Revelation 11:7 is Satan, coming up from hell to kill and destroy the Catholic and Jewish Churches, and all their teachings from the Holy Spirit over the past 2600 years. The Jewish Church was killed by Satan at the time when they handed over their Messiah Jesus Christ to be crucified. Satan is now killing the Catholic Church through Pope Francis and Cardinal Fernández and the Progressive Vatican ‘Gay Lobby’ Mafia Freemason Catholic Curia. When Pope Francis and Cardinal Fernández are finished, then all the work done by faithful Catholic leaders and Catholic Saints, over the past 2000 years will be finished, with no further guidance of the Holy Spirit to be used by the Catholic Church, only the secular lbgt and any fleshly desires and whims of those inputting into the Synod on Sodality. The Catholic Church will have been killed by the ‘beast that comes up from the abyss’.
Then, in Revelation 11, Jesus’ Second Coming, Comes and God blows new life into the Jewish and Catholic Churches, who are the ‘Two Witnesses’, and Jesus’ Revelation 21 ‘New Jerusalem’ Church is born on free willed earth. This will be the Resurrection and Restoration of the ‘Two Witnesses’, who are the combined Jewish and Catholic Churches on free willed earth, in Christ’s post-Apocalyptic, New Jerusalem Church on earth. In Revelation 21, the New Jerusalem coming down from heaven, is really Jesus' Presence, Second Coming, down from heaven to reside in the Body of His New Jerusalem Church. All State of Grace post-apocalyptic Catholics will live in the Divine Will, united to the Presence of the Holy Trinity, in Jesus’ ‘Holy City’, ‘New Jerusalem’ Church on free-willed earth.
The Revelation 11 ‘Come up here’, as Satan is cast down to earth (Rev 12:9), is Jesus taking over as King and Ruler of the world, as present God authorized secular power, which is presently ruling the world as a punishment from God, are removed as God’s selected rulers over Israel and the world. Jesus will Rule on earth with and through His Church, the ‘New Jerusalem’, combined `Catholic-Jewish Church. After Catholic Apostolic Successors read the Revelation 10 ‘small scroll’, which is a list of Catholic auto-anathemas, while seven Catholic Priests blow seven trumpets, this is when Jesus takes over as King and Ruler of the world. Jesus is not King and Ruler of the world until His subjects, Catholic Apostolic Successor put Jesus’ Laws into enforcement on earth. When they do so, Jesus is immediately crowned and King and Ruler of the world and Messianic Reign on earth begins.

Maybe the devil thought his kingdom of hell was his alternative exalted vocation where he really was Lord over his own kingdom. Those in hell serve the devil imitating the saints in an inverted way who serve the Lord in heaven. The angel's permanent exile caused the Lord's permanent loss of extrinsic glory, causing God a permanent loss. In this way the devil did gain some victory over God.
The mystery of iniquity does include the divine participation in the loss of angels who permanently fell into perdition.

@@NuLeif My observations are consistent with the devil's fall through envy. A desire to destory God's plan for man can include a desire to remove God's glory by the angel's fall. Ironically humanity's glory includes enthronement on the thrones lost by the angels.

@@NuLeif I watched the video and made a comment. The reasons for the devils fall are multiple. The devil is the Lord of the world in competition with God. Several titles of the evil one are given in competition with Jesus such as the light bearer and Prince indicating the devil imitates God in his diabolic kingdom of iniquity.
