The Fat Electrician did a 1 hour video on the greatest sniper in Vietnam, Carlos Hathcock. It's a great biography of not only Carlos Hathcock but the MarineCorp Scout Sniper program and sniping in the US military. You really should watch it.

    Howdy from Texas.
Back when I was in the United States Army I was trained in feild navigation and how to read a topical grid map. As well as how to call for fire and all the language needed to direct the fire left, right, fowards or backwards after the initial shell landed.
We had a female lieutenant in my platoon who consistently called the fire directly down on our location every single time we had an exercise. And to make things worse she had a huge chip on her shoulder over being a female in a male dominated profession. Which meant no matter how many times I or my fellow soldiers tried to explain to her that she was theoretically killing herself and her own platoon. She would never admit to being wrong and refused to even consider that she was wrong.
As a result. We all declared that if we were ever forced to go out into a real world military mission with her in charge. She'd be our first priority target simply out of self preservation. She got lucky that we were never deployed with her in actual combat.

Wow, how did she get as far as she did with so many serious mistakes and arrogant attitude? Overconfidence and pride is a terrible quality to have in the military.

You want the training to be HARDER than the missions. You improve when working with the best. No gimme missions will give the skills needed to preserve their lives.

Sometimes you just need a break! John you remind me of my army brother that I lost this year. He was a project guy always doing something kind and generous and hard-working. You don’t have to apologize you just one person and you’ll get it done👍🏿🎄

On a different , but related note , when I was a teenager I would work every summer when I was out of school with my uncle , who was a steeplejack . We worked on big industrial smoke stacks up to 500 feet high WITHOUT ANY SAFETY EQUIPMENT . The first thing my uncle taught me was , never make any unplanned moves because one wrong move could be your last .The mental strain of having to focus upon and pre-plan your every movement all day long was extremely exhausting , but developing the ability and habit of doing it has benefitted me for the rest of my life .

You two might watch a good documentary on Carlos Hathcock, who was known as "White Feather ". Or of the Finnish sniper, Simo Hayha, quite possibly the most prolific sniper in history. There are a lot of videos on UA-cam about both of them.

Hey I'm a military veteran you need to check out the new sniper scope that came out recently it basically changed the whole sniper program now they can send out a single sniper because the Skype really takes in everything into account the wind it's just basically technology I can't explain it you can watch a video on it just search amazing sniper rifle scope or something like that you know but you really need to check it out basically I think the way it works is it's able to check barometric pressure even tracks to Earth's rotation and takes it into account because some bullets are shot so far away really rotation of the Earth can throw it off enough by millimeters and miss the target it's crazy but the scope is able to take all that into account and you literally just have to aim straight on to the person and it automatically adjust if you need to aim high 20 ft it all exactly just for that so basically it takes in The wind earth rotation everything and calculates it it's a crazy technology

As a military veteran I'll tell you this much I pray for all you military veterans out there dealing with crazy things This world's getting bad and people don't realize it how bad it is and how close we are to wars that I pay for all my military veterans out there and thank you guys for watching military videos but it's amazing because God actually makes all types of people just shows you just look at all the different personalities in life you have people that are snipers and people that are bus drivers but everybody's needed everybody has a purpose in life but the reason most people don't find it it's because God has a purpose for you and when you ask God to show you that purpose he will especially if you believe in Jesus his son who died on the cross I promise you look up the history of God that's what made America great All our money I like cash and our coins say and God would trust the Constitution the reason you all love America is because of things that God did he made America a wholesome loving country but it has gotten horrible and I think God that Trump got in and I pray for his safety and I pray for you all to pray for your safety because it's something happens to Trump the things in the Bible will move in even faster and I know Jesus is coming no doubt in my heart so I pray for y'all and I pray that y'all don't believe in Jesus that I love you all anyway I love all humans God said love your neighbor as yourself whether they're said or not and Jesus told Christians to go out into the world and teach people about how to be saved by him it's called the gospel so when you hear about the gospel and I'm not talking about man-made religion I am not in no man no religion I believe in Jesus Christ is my savior because that's what the Bible says and the Bible's never been wrong

Historically , European armies followed the moronic practice of having tightly packed masses of troops stand in lines out in the open and fire at each other with very inaccurate rifles . Americans , who had hundreds of years of experience as hunters and fighting Indians came to appreciate marksmanship and having cover and concealment .South Africans are somewhat similar to Americans in this , which is why the Boers were able to do so well against overwhelming numbers of British troops during the Boer War .

Don't feel bad guys I'm from South Carolina and usually down here who put up Christmas lights in November lol but usually my family puts up Christmas lights the weekend after Thanksgiving and then we take them down the week after New Year's usually but right now I still have a few things I have to put up for decoration so we got all the presents wrapped and we got all the trees up and most of decoration but we have a few things so we really got behind this year it was just things just speed up this crazy y'all probably feel this and I'm 47 military veteran and I'm a Christian and it just seems to be just like God said he said you know in the end times and I'm not trying to be all gloom and doom But that's how it feels exactly why God describes it that's what's amazing just seems like before you know it it's like Christmas again and when I first turn 30 then 35 and 40 every 5 years it seemed to feel like things really sped up and it's weird it's just things get faster and faster and my grand my parents my grandparents always told me that or you get the faster time goes so we need to enjoy the life God gave us and that didn't they I tell people Jesus is the way to heaven Bible says it if I was never been disproven I'm a military veteran I have researched Jesus extensively I have looked at all the proof and seen the proof in my life saying Jesus did miracle and saving me in the military keeping me from dying many times of my life even from surfing accidents and on and on and on keeping me out of jail when some of my friends went to jail and I had this voice we call it the Holy Spirit Tell me in my head to not get in that car and I wouldn't get in it I just knew it's like the conscience called the God conscience we all have it but the more we go through life and deny God the more the voice goes away but most children will believe in God and nobody even told him about it you know about God but it's written in children's hearts and when they die if they do die my sister died at 2 years old and I know that I'll get to see her and have one day and that's awesome
