Great race! Having owned and raced many CR 500's, I could feel the grip strain from acceleration and vibrations that are produced on a tacky track like that. Keeping my eyes open for a good deal on another one.
@nevsta272 was that Ando that came flying past ya near the end? Whoever it was, was absolutely hauling arse cause u are a freak on the 500 and he blew past (but didnt really pull away) 😳✊🏻 I luv watching u guys kill it on 500's, makes me park up my '24 YZ450F and drag out the '01 KX500 💪🏻
@@nevsta272 I have a suggestion for you. Look into "3M Vibration Damping Tape 434" and "3M Vibration Damping Tape 436", which absorbs and dissipates vibration and reduces noise, and is useful for a variety of applications in the aerospace, automotive, construction, appliance industries, etc. Additionally, the "3M Vibration Damping Foil Tape" is a vibration damping tape with polymer adhesive used to reduce vibration and noise in a wide variety of applications. It could be useful in helping reduce vibration on your 500 if applied in the right areas. 👍
Didn't the back side of the track have a tree smack on the middle of it? I recall a tree and riders could go on either side. They probably changed that portion of the old track. Anyone?
super stuff fella, what happened to fans this year? then again i have seen no promo this time round - normally i do, this has caught me off guard and it seems many others or did it pick up over the event?
thanks for putting that up nev great footage i was thinking to myself ando is going to make a bonzai move in a minuite but once he got past he was not much quicker. you doing 125 and 500cc again at foxhill nev?
No.60 rode the ragged edge to stay in front of you.. he snuck in on you. Though I'm still trying to figure out how! You were leading an then out of nowhere he passed you an he must of a had a faster bike or better tires.. cause you only got close to catching him a few times.. he was hauling the mail!! He got lucky!! Honestly I think he pulled a Bradshaw! Cause he waited till there wasn't many laps left when he passed you.. an rode the ragged edge till the end to get the win.. cause your laps where getting faster an faster! No matter he couldn't get away from 272!! An if ya had, had a few more laps you would've got em!! Well if you had wanted to take a big risk of maybe wrecking your bike you could've got em but it wasn't worth it.. ya gotta ride smart which you did! An took 2nd so you'll get em next time without a doubt! Go Neville!! An go team Bradshaw!! No.272 all the way!!❤❤❤❤❤
Actually, I think the situation was quite different. The 60, judging by the fact that he didn't show a wheel before the last lap, was riding within his comfort zone staying on Nev's back wheel evaluating Nev's strengths/weaknesses/ lines waiting for the last lap. I'm sure Nev knew this but when someone is your equal, other than using lappers to block for you, was powerless to do anything. Nev could have taken a big risk & let the 60 by & learn his lines, but when leading it's a big ask to LET somebody pass & try to pressure them into making a mistake. To bad a 3rd rider didn't join the battle, then a whole new list of possibilities would have ensued. Regardless, looks like everyone had a good time & the fight could be renewed in the next moto..fair play.
@Tumid1 to a point, you're correct.. it was indeed a calculated move..it was a last ditch effort and he was riding to the point of losing control, hince ragged edge (Anderson no.60) however nev didn't apply the pressure he could've because they had so few laps left an it wasn't worth the risk of wrecking his bike or taking an injury to try for 1st.. when all he had to do was stay on his tail and finish 2nd.. which keeps him in the points.. so nev rode smart.. so the next time, Neville no.272 Team Bradshaw will smoke em! If you watch Neville, you can see Neville does the same thing.. but he is way more calculated and smoother rider, and wicked fast, so we can agree to disagree..👍
@@Backwoods145 Thank you so much for your grudging acceptance (to a point) of my arguement :) I disagree "he was riding to the point of losing control". I just re-watched the video from the pass to the finish and not ONCE did Anderson put a wheel wrong. He was consistent, deliberate, measured, smooth & stylish. I contend the build-up to & pass were strategic & inevitable. I hope Nev chimes in, but to be fair, I think Anderson had his measure on this day.
@Tumid1 You're right.. he smoked Neville.. but he was riding extremely fast.. an was indeed trying to shake my boy, but couldn't.. Neville is a pro racer, and I've watched him hang with some of the best that's ever been on a track, such as Mike Brown, an others, and still finish in the top 3.. Anderson got lucky.. if you're an Anderson fan, I can respect that, but Neville Bradshaw no.272 Team Bradshaw still was right on his tail.. an if had not been for only like 3 or 4 laps left, Neville would have taken him.. Anderson was riding on the edge and did it well, but given a longer race, my boy would have eaten alive. An I can say with confidence! Go, Team Bradshaw 272!!👍😁😁😁
I’d imagine past 40 they don’t fancy 6weeks in hospital after loosing it trying to do a triple… I actually looked at the track and at 43 thought that’s a track I’d ride as there more ramps over ditches than 40ft table tops and almost vertical faces that Chuck you 20ft into the air..!
Wow, your an amazing 500 cc rider👍. Greetings from Southern California 😊.
Thanks bud 🙏🏻✊🏻💨
Amazing footage again feels like your in the race watching this well done
Thanks bud
Thanks Nev....all the best on the weekend at the VMXdN.🍻🇦🇺

I borrowed a cr500 years ago and remember how that bike would try and open my grip on the handle bars one of the great motocross bikes ever built
Awesome machines 😁💯
Awesome Ride, as always!👍
Thanks bud
Great to see 2 guys riding them how they were meant for 😊
Love your videos NB🇺🇸
😁😁🙏🏻👊🏻
Looks like a fun track! I’d love to ride a 500 on it..but not against Nev😬😬
Great viewing as always thanks bro
Cheers boss
Your tracks are great!
Looks like your racing on a golf course.
What an awesome race! Love 500s
That was a fantastic race! Good ride Nev.
Cheers Alan
Reeds on a modern 450? What a dork

Is there much you can do to reduce the vibration on your 500? How do you handle the arm pump?
Just grips and bars really. Just gotta try roll the turns as quick as possible so when power comes in it’s not super aggressive

Never been a tree in the middle since I’ve been at farleigh since 2010
@@nevsta272 - thanks for the quick answer, Neville. Must have been another track in England. Great video and greetings from Florida, U.S.A!

Hey mate, this is a new event. Was pretty good, hopefully more spectators turn up next year 😁✊🏻
The VMX de Nations is on this weekend 27-29 August at Foxhill
Where's Emig which moto?
He was in 50+

Thanks Dave. Was a good race 😁. Yes same classes as last year
Holy shit, Chad Reed! on a 450, and nowhere to be seen. Must be a decent pace you were going! He also coming to VMXdN?
What class(es) are you racing?
Hey no I don’t think Chad is at Foxhills, he’s already back home. I’m in the team race and Evo 125s
@@nevsta272 Cool, thx man! Be rooting for ya!
dude at 6,58, sounds like he drops the bike as he gets passed
Really disappointing crowd turnout, guess everyone going to Foxhills instead eh!
i keep saying it you belong on a 500 👍
Haha we will see this weekend

Racing 125 teaches the way of the throttle best. WFO or go home.
What a horrible track . Let's just scrap off the grass and call it a MX track.
Haha
I mean I love it, the 500 is radical, but why oh why are they running you guys on what looks to be comparable to a forest access road?!
