The battle has just begun...
Very nice love to see it in person , a lot of work there nice job , love to see it all completed , thanx for the journey.
Congratulations. Uniquely beautiful. Great action!!!
Very Impressive. Great workmanship throughout.
Thanks for the update. Looking good.
WOW! I see many hours of fun in the future for you! I for one would like to see the progress of your layout, please keep the videos coming.
Just picked up a set for my boy and I to start building together. Going to build our table tomorrow and begin our layouts. Where or how do you get the sound system? The kit I bought came with a dcc controller, from my understanding I can control switch points with that, which is pretty neat. Awesome setup.
Hello Diesel Power, all the engines in this video are dcc sound equipped - I think there are Tsunami1 and ESU decoders on board...
Cheers, Volker
I like that part of your scenery
Thank you very much! So you see - there is some scenery... ;-)
Coole Anlage. Habe ich schon life gesehen. Genialer Landschaftsbau
Fantastic!!! What a piece of enginering!! How did you make the 'rockscape'!!!
Put ALL the cans up front & leave the rear wells MT. Running that way is VERY prototypical!
Hey what's the dimensions of your layout if you don't mind me asking?
I like see the train in live
You used WAGOs. Smart man !
you should make updates

Are you going to add scenery?
Hello - Yes, I will add scenery on my layout... Having enough time is a real problem ;-)
Looks like you need a few more cans to fill all those empty wells. LOL If you want to run it like the real RRs, fill all the wells up front & the rest of the train is a bare table.
+Andy Jackson Sorry Andy, I am a poor german guy and I do not have enough cans... ;-)
I wish I was poor enough to afford a layout like this!!! great job.!!
Gale wells, you sucked the thought right out of my head, very funny. I wish I had his talent too, even if it was just to do the rock work I’d be happy.
Do you plan to hide your helex or leave it open?
The helix is now hidden but i have a room inside the helix so I am able to manage derailments if necessary...
Impressive to say the least. What's the length of your mainline & incline of your grades? Do you hold regular working sessions with friends?
The rock work is nice, very realistic.
Thank You, Skip. The total length of the mainline is about 340ft long - thereof I have 120ft of visible mainline on the upper deck. The grades are 1.8 percent (small helix), 1.6 percent (big helix) and again 1.8 percent on the visible areas of the layout. I do not hold regular sessions yet - my friends do not share my hobby, so I work and play by my own.
+BNSFUPRailroader One could say lucky you. You've undertaken a big project by yourself. Congrats & good job.
Its all staging and helixs.....where's the rest?
+Amtrakeng Hello Amtrakeng - watch the videos ;-)
+BNSFUPRailroader I did!! LOL...it seems like a lot of work for a few feet of mainline run....how big is your room??
The viseable mainline on the upper deck is about 120ft long - the viseable mainline in gore canyon (lower deck) is about 12ft long.
And yeeeeees - I need a lot of stagingtracks....LOL
+BNSFUPRailroader Where do you live?
Maybe shoot a video of the entire layout end to end...seems o be in just the one room....don't get me wrong, its gorgeous to be sure...but I keep thinking theres more somewhere that I have not seen...LOL...
Hey, watch the cab ride video of the entire layout! I know, there is a lot of staging and helix stuff for the very first beginning - but later on, there you can see the entire viseable section of the layout... That's all, I only have one room, which is about 13ft x 30ft. Oh, by the way - I am coming from Deutschland and I am a great fan of the American Railroads and of your country!
great layout just a tad overpowered with all those empty cars (don't hit me with power move☺)
