Beginner question for you. Did you weight paint the joints to sections of the shirt? For example are each of the eight bones weighted to 8 sections of the skirt and smoothed between each section? Or do you not need to weight paint the sections because Unreal will dynamically move the corresponding vertices based on the blueprint logic?
Hey! I'm just starting to study animation in UE and I want to ask why you chose this connection path, and not through Anim Dynamics? Is it calculated faster or something else?
Anim dynamics is for simulating bone physics, but in this video he is not simulating any bones, he is demonstrating how to offset bones in the rigged skirt using control rig. So it's not really a "anim dynamics instead of" situation. You could use anim dynamics on top of what he is doing on the video.

I'm not sure how to follow about the name of the bones. I'm using the Epic unreal rig skeleton. What are the respective bones names?
