I even went back in the video to double check the moves, cause i thought quick is using hacks. He just 5 headed all of us😅
It blows my mind that Chillin didn't send out Regirock when Zekrom was literally asleep. He could have gotten one guaranteed minimize, likely 2, and by the time that 2 were done he might as well do the third to fully raise his evasion by 6 stages leaving him able to do the minimize rollout combo he wanted.

No if you switch there is no guaranteed sleep turn for minimizing, sleep is only guaranteed one turn and that would be the turn for switching.

@@soracorinnax3 Sorry the term champions probably wasn't the best, I meant a "Best Gym leader of each Generation" tournament once they had done Gens 1-8 of Gym Leaders to find the ultimate Gym Leader :D
@@DrunksRFun Oh, now i get it ^^'. Because you said only Gen, i thought you mean only the whole Generation, like they already did. But you meant only Gen 1 Champions/Arena Trainer battle only against Gen 1 Champions/Arena Trainer and that with each Gen. Now that i get it, i like your idea :D. This will be a huge Series and would take some time, but it would be nice to see it ^^.
Challenge idea:
First Pokémon caught is a random encounter. All future catches are fully evolved over world based on the type of the first move on the previous Pokémon. So if your first catch is a Suicune, and its first move is Explosion, your next over world catch has to be a normal type. Would be DECENT.
Ooh that's a good one, but the moves would have to be totally random and not type based like usual. You might end up all one type teams

Yoooo, just woke up and saw this in my UA-cam feed. Let's goooo!!
Idea: The White Elephant gift exchange. Catch the 1st pokemon normally. On the second catch swap one move at random with the two mons. On the next catch mons 2 and 3 will swap a move. Continue this for however many mons you want to catch. At the end, the last mon and the first mon swap a move. For deciding the move just use a random wheel set to four. Whatever it lands on you swap. Could number it to 5 and swap abilities. Could also do a whole bunch of things like swapping abilities, types, BST. Lots of possibilities here.

You could also do every gym leader from the first 8 gens then choose all eight winners and do another bracket and see who’s the strongest gym leader overall.
I think that’s what they’re planning, guaranteed content and the little tournaments are a fun concept
Electric Terrain boosts the power of electric moves by 20% and prevents grounded Pokémon from falling asleep. Also, if a Pokémon has the Ability Surge Surfer, it's speed is doubled if it is grounded on Electric Terrain. Also, Rising Voltage doubles in power while grounded

I can’t lie I always find myself on team chillin. Quick be playing a game of technicalities a lot.. (Musharna being “blue”, “missing” obvious catches. Etc) i just appreciate how chillin no matter what sticks to the stipulations and doesn’t pull any sketchy shit
This challenge really should be double Elim with a losers bracket. Not only will that mitigate the poor match-up chances, but then we also get more episodes with more matches 😂

I found both of your channels for the first time a few weeks ago and I’ve been binging your videos! Amazing content and I’m loving this gym leader tournament!
I thought that the rule was whatever moves the Pokémon come with are what you have to use. He shouldn’t have had sleep powder or ice burn, his magnezone in the video came with zing zap, overdrive, parabolic charge, and charge. That ice burn literally had the biggest impact on the match, but shouldn’t have happened.

Sheer Force ONLY affects moves with secondary effects. Moves like Parabolic Charge and Giga Drain would be unaffected

In a vacuum Manectric is always superior to Luxray.

It is interesting to hear Quick worry about Rock/Ground types because there's only two fully evo'd Rock/Ground types, Rhyperior and Golem. The others are NFE (their respective prevos, Onix, Larvitar, and Pupitar)

Day 37: One of you catches 12 random Pokemon and decides which team each one is on. The other one uses the Move Relearner to decide the movesets of all 12 Pokemon *without knowing whose team they go to*
Think about it, you could let your opponent sabotage a Legendary with terrible moves, only to find out they got it instead.
New challenge idea. You each get asked 8 questions in a general knowledge quiz. If you get the question right, you get to catch any Pokémon who's name starts with the first letter of the answer to that question. If you get it wrong, you get a random encounter from the grass which MUST go on your team as a forefit. Then you build your team of 6 and battle it out.
Chilln, you lost the moment you put that Lunatone out of the squad.

Challenge Idea that got a heart last time I sent it:
You pick a random starter only knowing it's highest stat, for example, if it's a blissey, you say "a special tank pokemon" or if it's something like regieleki "fast pokemon" I think that might be fun!
Manectric counter to Quick’s rant is a better battler in every way than Luxray
And shinx squad don’t say anything about intimidate because even at -1 physical attackers will still smash Luxray and a better intimidate Mon paired with scarf or specs manectric will be wayyyyyy better in the long run
Manectric is a mythical Japanese creature called a Raijū. A thunder beast that often appears as a wolf/dog/racoon/weasel. With Blue, white, and yellow fur.
Video idea! You both do random battles against ai or each other is doubles form, if you win you get to pick 2 pokemon for yourself and 2 for the other person up till 10 pokemon you pick your 6 then fight!🎉
Luxray is definitely a worse Manectric btw. Neither can take a hit, but Manectric at least can outspeed. Not to mention, Luxray’s movepool is dog. Psychical electric moves are trash compared to Tbolt and Volt Switch. (Luxray does get volt switch but does not have the speed to use it) Even with held items, Manectric just has more options that complement his stats/movepool. Luxray is one of my favorite designs but they did him dirty. He needs a mega with better speed and dark typing

Challenge idea:
Perhaps a metronome based game of chance and trade. Use metronome on legendaries spotted over world, damaged pokemon join opponents team, unaffected or otherwise become yours. Maybe both trainers get a single pokemon trade at the end for some spice.
Quicks legend was asleep for like 10 turns and you didn’t bring in Regi and minimize?? That would have prob secured the W

Did... did he just throw this? I mean... 6 rock types, All of which can learn ground type moves, and not a Single ground move Except sandstorm? Against a team of Electric Types? Mudbomb, earthquake, magnutude, bulldoze, Even mud slap...
Then he says "Rock types are Terrible."
No sir... Rock types are fine, a bit slow, but otherwise fine mons... Bad Movesets Are Whats Terrible. Also, omastar can learn Spikes,(or toxic spikes) which could have doubled the entry hazards... and then there's moves like Accelerock, smack down, etc...
Rock type actually had the advantage here... but bad planning and movesets cost it the win.
The movesets are randomised preferring their own type. So the chance of a rock getting a ground move are the same odds as the rock type getting an electric or flying move.
Water shuriken can hit 5 times. Surging strikes is the one that guarantees 3 crit hits.
Also that playing around Zek was legit.
