I just realized upon rewatching this that her correction was actually wrong. I think she misheard it as a "bipinnatifidum" when Bill actually called it a "Pinnatifidum". There's a difference, and the pinnatifidum is not a thaumatophyllum but the bipinnatifidum is.
The first one could be named: Anthurium Rolling Star. It would be funny since in Italy his surname Rotolante means somenthing that keeps rolling/spinning
the saga of Bill interviews has been a joy to watch. each one different but special. each one featuring a man who just glows with kindness and happy willingness to share a great love of plants. i'm a little sad that it's over. i'm going to miss Bill's grin!
It looks like Bill inherited a long game of Jumanji. I remember the interview with Bill at some show and he was talking about the private collection... I did not imagine it was this impressive and wild. Thanks for doing this and releasing this, we need it. PS. This is probably what it feels like for non-plant-people to walk into my apartment. Now i know. PSS. The big Anthurium should be called Anthurium runningoutofspaceii
Anthurium "Sarlacc" for the first one after the multi-tentacled monster in Star Wars because it's MASSIVE. For the second, Anthurium "Exquisite" or, in the same vein as his "Billfolius-Rex" - Anthurium "Unbilleafable" (lol).
I was just saying "Wow" the whole time. I adore Anthuriums. I would gladly volunteer to clean his green house. I think the journey through the greenhouse was more perilous that when Summer climbed mountains in Thailand. LOL
WOW! I've never seen so much gigantic and rare aroids all in one place 🤩 Thank you so much for giving us opportunity to see such rare sight. Btw that unamed aroid if your looking for suggestions try Anthurium Dragons Nest sounds fitting for a prehistoric looking anthurium 😁
Excellent suggestion - a beautifully textured bird´s nest anthurium - and salvinii should donate to the cross a dragon's proportions. A truly impressive collection worthy of another walkthrough - but slower please next time so we get to see all those treasures close up.
so strange...I was waiting for this video and even looked for it in your uploads, but only now was I finally able to find and watch it. the view count suggests that something went really wrong here, didn't it?! I'm glad I could watch it in the end. thank you so much for showing us around!!
Such an exotic jungle! I want to put a sofa and a big TV screen in the middle, let the dogs loose, maybe free a couple toucans and call it my living room 🤗
I love it. Made my Sunday morning the best ever. Thank you Summer and Bill who is now my new best friend. LOL What does it take to get your hands on a piece, No! I mean a small crumb of his collection. I am simply floored.
Glad to watch the follow up video. So Interesting although I am surrounded by tropical plants and trees here in my house in Jakarta, Indonesia. And... I feel the same stickiness of the climate's humidity even though here it's already evening.
As always I am so enjoying your videos! I think the Anthurium x with Big Red Bird should be called "Anthurium Suffalupagaii" (for Snuffy Big Birds Best Friend on Sesame Street) and the Clarinervium x should be "Anthurium Jack of All Spades". This was fun! And I loved the 2 part tour! Good luck with the names!💚💚
First of all, thank you Bill and Summer for sharing. My only problem is this video is TOO SHORT! As you both were passing plants, I was like... "oh, what's that...oh, what's that...dang, what's that?!!" Anyway, on to the fun stuff... let's talk names... He should stick with his brand of naming things with "Bill." I'm blanking on things to call the first one, So I'll just say it should be called "Anthurium Bill-fold"...because that's what it's going to cost whoever buys it...their entire billfold! 😂 But naming the heart-shaped one 🥰 is more fun to play around with...OK, so I know I'm going to waste the next 20 minutes of my life leaving this comment, but I love doing a "play on words!" OK, back to Quarantine Gardening for me! Stay safe and all the best to both of your families!
The first one is Palm beach because the big, long luscious leaves remind me of cool, jungle breezes passing under the cool shade of these dreamy leaves on lazy, relaxing days in the sun.
Kudos to the videographer (Saunder, I suppose?)! It must be really difficult for him to tread on the wet soil while shooting, and possibly getting whacked by the giant leaves! :P
OMG, I'm totally blown away, never thought anthurium and alocasia could grow that big. Thinking of our indoor ones, we were just like lilliputians....Lol
This is huge, the guy and the jungle. Thank-you for this awesome tour. That I'll keep looking again and and again... Tell Bill to name his second creation the anthurium one, tell him to name it DAISY, it is a beautifull name
There should be a plant museum in each city of the world !!! Then private collectors such as him can give s cutting of thier rare p,ants so every one can enjoy in the Museum!!! Great Tour guys thank you to All!!! Nature is healing and fascinating and very Inspiring!!!!
Coming back here in December 2022. When this came out, I was just starting on my plant journey. It’s like a completely new video, seeing it with a little experience. Bill is correct to find the true forms of species anthuriums! So dificult to find true forms for hybridisation.
HUGE credit to the camera operator in this one!
especially at 14:43 😂
Who knows... Her twin might be standing behind the camera 😂
Sander (I think it is him) is absolutely amazing! I admire his work every time!😊
OMG the sound of the leaves when you walk through that jungle... PURE ASMR 😮
“This is now considered a Thamadophyllum” in the bottom corner did send me. This woman is going to give us the correct info we came here for. 😂❤️
I just realized upon rewatching this that her correction was actually wrong. I think she misheard it as a "bipinnatifidum" when Bill actually called it a "Pinnatifidum". There's a difference, and the pinnatifidum is not a thaumatophyllum but the bipinnatifidum is.

He's got boyish candor!
@@summerrayneoakes I can see it. He's an innocent boy inside 😆
In keeping with the ‘Ace of Spades’ card theme for the second plant, I’m going to suggest ‘Queen of Hearts’.
It looks like Bill inherited a long game of Jumanji.
I remember the interview with Bill at some show and he was talking about the private collection...
I did not imagine it was this impressive and wild. Thanks for doing this and releasing this, we need it.

PSS. The big Anthurium should be called Anthurium runningoutofspaceii
PSS the small one should be called Anthurium Gettingonmynervium
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
ITS A JUNGLE IN THERE. Love that he kept it wild and just let plants grow!
Anthurium "Sarlacc" for the first one after the multi-tentacled monster in Star Wars because it's MASSIVE. For the second, Anthurium "Exquisite" or, in the same vein as his "Billfolius-Rex" - Anthurium "Unbilleafable" (lol).

Calx 21 I Agree 👌🏻
Reminds me of game of thrones dragons lol
Excellent suggestion - a beautifully textured bird´s nest anthurium - and salvinii should donate to the cross a dragon's proportions. A truly impressive collection worthy of another walkthrough - but slower please next time so we get to see all those treasures close up.
Thank you so much Silver Chrome and Summer for this spectacular and inspiring tour!
Bill, you have inspired me to know more about anthurium plants🧡
You could have spent hours in there and I would have watched every unedited minute. What a paradise!!
You can really tell when someone loves what they do
This guy is absolutely precious.
I can see that human are tools in Life Creator to make the wolrd green...how amazingly creative HE is just by seeing plants....🌱🍁🌺🌿
A satisfying Aroid tour to watch and am still watching now 😍❤
"Heart of steel" as it is more hardy and resistant 😉🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Omg no, latin names are great like clarinervium, magnificum but these made by public names are awful
Why not call it david
Why not call it david
Bill seems like such a nice man! Love him! Enjoyed seeing his collection. Thanks Bill!
🥺 he has such kind eyes!
Sitting in my home in Idaho... wishing I was warm. This video made my day :)
Such a gorgeous collection! Thanks for another amazing Field Trip video! It’s exactly what we need while staying safe inside💚✨🌿
Summer, thank you for bringing us along, these private collections are always such eye openers. This greenhouse is more of a jungle!
totes!
This is a great private collection. I could sit in that jungle all day... ❤️❤️❤️. Thank you Summer for this great video.
Call one of the plants after Kippee xxx
Try to pronounce Kippeeii though!
Seriously. I love the passion in this guys smile say's it all 💚 his own private Garden of Eden 🥰
so strange...I was waiting for this video and even looked for it in your uploads, but only now was I finally able to find and watch it.
the view count suggests that something went really wrong here, didn't it?!
I'm glad I could watch it in the end. thank you so much for showing us around!!
Yes, it went out too early, I had to turn it to private, and then released it again. So that was my snafu.
@@summerrayneoakes I hope that the views will go up asap!! I enjoyed the video a lot.
I love that the plants are natural with all the imperfections. A fresh take from all those social media marketing schemes.
I miss your ep. 118. Love you both together.. Do more of those kinds of videos! ❤️Keep Safe. What a Collection 👌
Extraordinary! What an interesting man and his nursery. I think I would have been completely overwhelmed. Thank you.
Such an exotic jungle! I want to put a sofa and a big TV screen in the middle, let the dogs loose, maybe free a couple toucans and call it my living room 🤗
What a carefree presentation. Lovely to watch over and over again. Keep up the good work.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
I don’t even know what to say.... it’s just AMAZING! So many great plants in his collection!
Bill's private jungle is breath-taking! It's amazing how large these specimens can grow given optimum conditions.
Yeeesssss I've been waiting for this one!! So cool, what a jungle 🤭🥰🥰🥰
I have a new found love for anthuriums just from watching this episode alone!
among all the gorgeous plants, I love how his dogs following all the way!!!
"I've never seen a T-Rex before so I wouldn't know what they look like" followed by an awkward silence.
Poor bill was crushed that she laughed at the name of the plant named after him.
He was right back in middle school for a moment. I feel ya, bud.
I think she didn’t hear him say tooth, but yeah, that was awk 😂
11:43 for low key eye roll xD
I love it. Made my Sunday morning the best ever. Thank you Summer and Bill who is now my new best friend. LOL What does it take to get your hands on a piece, No! I mean a small crumb of his collection. I am simply floored.
What a lovely man!! Beautiful plants.
His collection just amazing.
Amazing collection! 😍
Plant name suggestions:
- 1st plant: Anthurium Phoenix Rising or Phoenix Feathers
- 2nd plant: Anthurium BILLion Hearts
Haha clever!
Awesome collection! Love the jungle atmosphere...didn’t even know the dogs were there until you grabbed the leash! More...more...more!
The size of these plants are insane! They must cost so much but they are truly beautiful. Thank you once again Summer for taking us with you 🥰
Oh my lord ! Never have I seen anything like these plants ! 💕💕💕💕💕💕
wow. had to pick up my jaw off the floor. bill is so sweet too!!! awesome tour
This was just beautiful. Have to watch it again, lol!
I just finished transplanting in the gardens...now I want to go back out and play...wow, fantastic...
Very informative. Very educational. 💚💚💚
I hope we get to hear an update on what Bill decided to name his hybrids. 😋
The foliage on some of these plants I’m stunned 🌞😋🌎🌿
Pretty wonderful to have a personal jungle!
What a beautiful smiley face of him.... great collection
First plant, Unicorn's Delight, second one Dark Knight. Love all those plants!
What an amazing show, love it!!!!! Thank you Summer.
It’s like having your own Jurassic park, the only thing missing is the dinosaurs.....love it....OMG!
It's a jungle out there. 🥰
I think "Amazing Bill" and "Excellent Bill" are fine names
The second one could definitely be “Anthurium Heart of Gold” or “Anthurium Kryptonite” considering it’s been made to resist pest!
This was awesome! Bill is the man!
Glad to watch the follow up video. So Interesting although I am surrounded by tropical plants and trees here in my house in Jakarta, Indonesia. And... I feel the same stickiness of the climate's humidity even though here it's already evening.
It's really one big jungle of much wished for plants that Bill inherited from his dad. I really love the Philodendrons the most.
He is so lovely person he's smile and laugh when talk about his plants 🤣
As linda suggested, name the larger birdnest type anthurium after Kippee
Kippee's nest
Or go with the dinosaur theme and biggest flying animal that ever lived by our current knowledge anthurium quetzalcoatlus.
all i can say is WOW
I was smiling for those leaves-Rex and Miss Summer smile when she walks through.
I love and enjoyed ever bit of the tour with that massive collection ;I wish him gd health and a determine spirit to live on
As always I am so enjoying your videos! Amazing
It's like an actual jungle in there that's incredible! :)
Heart of Hearts for the second plant that needs a name 😄😍
That rotolante is absolutely gorgeous...God damn
All that in that jungle is amazing.
Keep up that good work.
And thank you.

Amazing how huge the plants are, love the field trips , thank you for sharing Summer!!!
Glad you enjoyed!
Omg, amazing to see the original Dark Lord! I just got my hands on a cutting very recently!
This was hard to shoot.... Single-file....Can't always get the greatest shots of the plants, but he managed. It was hot as hell though!
16:14 Jurassic hearts.. looks like a dinosaur age plant with lovely heart shaped leafs😍
My jaw dropped!!!! I laughed so hard about you saying. I tripped over an earial root hahhaha oml
Love how Bill says... “ya it’s kinda cool” meanwhile we are all having hot flashes looking at these plants!
my goodness, this is incredible!
i didnt even realize the dog was with them
Anthurium horizontorubinusii for the first one; Anthurium distantotriangulis for the second one. Love to see this jungle-esque collection!
Amazing collection!!! If only some of these can fit in my small balcony! LOL
OMG, I'm totally blown away, never thought anthurium and alocasia could grow that big. Thinking of our indoor ones, we were just like lilliputians....Lol
It looks so fun to go through the leaves of that jungle 😜
"Forest Cocktail" because it's in his private plant forest and is a combination of multiple crosses
Aah the clarinervium hybrid is stunning 😶💚

This is huge, the guy and the jungle. Thank-you for this awesome tour. That I'll keep looking again and and again... Tell Bill to name his second creation the anthurium one, tell him to name it DAISY, it is a beautifull name
