      Its not a helpful melody, and is somewhat distracting. Where he is speaking and you hear little or no music, to me,it is better. Also there's no need to edit out all the silent pauses... which makes the pace a little too fast/unnatural. I'm all for editting out some silent at spaces but not wholesale... if it was a podcast and overly editted this way it would not be very pleasant

    You’re a genius. You also just described my employer to a T. I tried telling my sales manager a year ago that the company’s metrics are creating a fallacy. He’s been brow beating me down ever since to fit their mold. I have nearly 2 decades of experience and know how to pivot like nobody’s business to get deals done. Can you do a video on how to tell your sales manager to F off? :)

    • @ElectricSwordFish-i4k
      @ElectricSwordFish-i4k 4 дні тому

      🤣🤣🤣This is a game. The easiest response is to just say "yes boss" and keep doing your own shit. You could circumvent them and go straight to the senior manager which will piss your direct report off. Need more info to detail something to your specifics.

    • @MrYoungzay
      @MrYoungzay 3 дні тому +1

      Use the Decision Map in the video
      1. Deviation- Does what you’re trying to get him to change deviate too much from norms? If so how can you frame in a way where it doesn’t?
      2. Novelty - Is what you’re proposing noticeably new? New in a safe and/or positive manner too and you need to be able to show or articulate that
      3. Necessity - Is what you’re proposing necessary? And can you frame/position it in a way where he can see why it’s necessary? (In a way that lines up with HIS existing agenda(s))
      4. Conformity - Can you show how his peers are doing what you propose? (Even if you haven’t met them and they’re from another company)
      5. Social - Will people notice and can you frame it in a way where he’ll get the credit for it? (Obviously you’ll get whatever benefit you want as well) but also keep in mind the law of power from the 48 Laws of Power (forget exactly which 1) to never outshine the “master” so let him get credit because in your mind you know what benefit you’ll get
      6. Investment - Can you SHOW (the brain 🧠 is more visual than word based) and articulate how this is worth the investment? (Even if it’s just a time investment or energy investment)
      These should greatly help you but you can expand on this by also using the Myopic that he talks about in the video and asking the questions (in as respectful and as subtly/covertly a way as possible) to help him overcome his own biases

    After watching it three times in a row right after you published it it, I lived the whole day (October in Israel) go through business meetings and other things, seeing life through these things you have explained. Completely different perspective. And this is why I always tend to focus on these things. Like when people say something, I try to perceive it in accordance to what I think their angle is. I also try to be conscious of my own bias. This is so revealing. I probably had the date with most revelations in a long time. You teach things that are not exactly what I was reading about four years but it’s kind of the same just from different perspective. I was just learning things about propaganda and brainwashing while going deep into how manifestation works. This mixture I guess lead me to the state where when I started watching your videos recently I was completely in and it’s not something too complicated or two crazy for me you know. I’m just absorbing because these are the things I was looking for for such a long time. Not that I don’t think people have their own way and their own beliefs, but I always felt like it so overestimated. Like almost everyone I think that all the other people are different and he or she is unique.. I start to ask myself. How can everyone be so unique and everyone thinks that all the other people are the same? 😅 I never worked in sales, though most of people I know who work in sales cannot sell anything to me. While I definitely crave for selling skills for the things that I do. But yeah, brainwashing myself feels so much more efficient than brainwashing others. Because I feel like if their brainwashing doesn’t work for me probably I would not be able to efficiently use it.. so interesting. Your content is brilliant.❤

    Interesting, I have been focusing on my own biases the last couple years through identity change work as an intense personal experiment to see how much I can actually re-create myself as a new character. This is my probably my 3rd or 4th major identity overhaul and at age 43 my biases are much much more hardwired then the last identity shift at age 27. At 27 focus was more about my body’s potential/strength/physical and mental health and longevity. At 43 it’s all about checking in with my biases so I don’t become a stubborn old man rather instead an open easy going old man that people experience joy even through the smallest interactions. Nothing seems more important than developing this characteristic

    Very interesting and very informative. I just wish you could slow down just a little bit. Your videos are so tightly packed with information, they're hard to digest in just one viewing. A little space here and there would really help. It would give the viewer a little bit of time reflect on what you just said to internalize it, before you move on to the next idea you're presenting. That's especially helpful when there's also text on the screen and you're talking over it - the information density is even heavier then. Just a thought. I hope you're doing well.

    If I use multiple arrows does that percentage increase? lol This is all very good advice. It is best to be more well rounded while also being able to recognize the value in more closed off team players. Just remember that a lot of times the eagerness to bring all these elements together will get exploited at some point along the chain. You'll get more work so make sure you get more pay too.

    Questions 5,6,7 and 10 seem to focus on Over Confidence and Confirmation Bias, while other areas only have 1 question, except for survivorship which has 2 questions. It seems that the balance of questions is going to result in identifying Over Confidence and Confirmation biases simply because of the weight those areas have. Can you speak to the nuance of how different answers to those questions might NOT indicate an over confidence or Confirmation bias?

    You have a powerful and amazing message but the editing of this video makes it impossible for me to listen to. It’s very disconcerting and strange to not have any gaps or pauses in sentences.

      Perhaps slowing it down one notch in settings, and not looking at the screen while listening can help.

      Rewatch it 5 or 6 times. This is decades of experience crammed into a few seconds. Just rewatch it, take notes on it, reread the notes, and then rewrite them in your own words. Then red those two things each day for a few days. If that's what it takes, then that's what it takes

    Dear Chase, I’ve been following your vids for some time, very interesting and valuable material for me and also for my work.
    This one I skip. Why have a pushy soundtrack running in the background?
    It brings the quality of your material way down.
    Please, -is that really good enough for you?
