I don't agree. Blue is out at 0:46 and at 0:50 ref called ippon. She was unconscious 4 seconds. And it was mainly her mistake. She had both arms free and she can tap out the all time. If you feel that you have problem in this or similar situations you tap immediately! She didn't it and it wasn't mistake of the ref bad it was only her mistake.

@@judojudo3808 true what she was holding was a pin that when well executed doubles as a chock. so the ref called the pin. That people get choked out is a rare thing since everyone taps out as soon as the feel it. since bothe hands weher free she had all posibilitys to tap out

Theoretically her hands were free... practically you don't know her state of mind when blood flow is cut off to the brain.. it's possible some people loose their decision making ability quickly in these circumstances... the refree can't be standing like this and allow like this...in this case the opponent herself acted as a refree and stopped the match...

@@toserve White judoka didn't stop match herself. Match stopped the ref and the gong (you can hear it). White judoka catched opponent to sankaku jime technique and the ref called osaekomi (holding) and she holded her opponent 20 seconds. If have your opponent in holding in judo you have to hold her exactly 20 seconds as here. Then the ref calls ippon (it is mean point for you) and you are winner. This is rules of judo.

@@judojudo3808 oh ok...thank you for explaining the rules of judo... the point here is... from health care point.. once blood is cut off to the brain the person becomes unconscious and the medical terminology is hypoxia where the brain gasp for oxygen...as seconds go some brain nerve cells may get affected and the effect sometimes will happen as the person ages...
So one can decide which is better..ippon or safety of brain cells.
So as you said when the pin has to be held for 20 seconds even if they are unconscious then maybe brain itself is not there
