Thank you for this. Great content and beyond helpful. I'm a Prevoker main both specs are so interesting and enticing. But I'm so addicted to time magic healing so I'm def doing Chrono first
I'm so happy to hear that! There have been a ton of really kind comments and the video is near 20k views! I'm absolutely blown away, thank you thank you thank you!
I'm personally picking flameshaper for the red dragonflight healing fantasy, but I'm also really excited for the talents themselves! I love new buttons lol. Thanks for another great video.
I know most evokers on beta pushing the 13-15 keys as pres are using chrono warden, interesting take in this video :) I think it has a lot to do with the new chrono capstone stasis combo for the double full party chronoflame but Im not 100% sure
I play a bronze dragon named Sundiall, so i was so so so hoping that chronowarden would be viable since I love the bronze dragon class fantasy. A bit bummed that it doesn't have a big strong single target heal like flameshaper- since one of my biggest frustrations with the spec is it's lack of strong single target panic buttons (I make do with echo+instant living flame/echo+verdant embrace, but it can still be tough sometimes). However, preservation is by and far the best healing spec I've played in WoW (and I've played em all!) and everything about chronowarden screams current preservation playstyle, just dialed to 11 and smoother/faster. I think if my main tank needs extra love I'll go flameshaper, but I'm really hoping for chronowarden to be my main choice!! Ty for the video, you're always my first go to for preservation vids nowadays. I've used your builds/slightly modified versions of your builds for M+ for the last 3 major patches now. Loved hearing your thoughts on the new talents!
I agree, I guess since the bronze flight is all about playing with time. Instead if I see someone's health go down fast, I use Time Dilation. That gives me some extra time to heal them back up.
Hey, I love your videos! I just wanted to ask if you have any tips for healing pugs or groups when the players don't want to or maybe can't stack themselves up nicely for your cone abilities? I find healing on Pres to be quite fun, until i have 2 ranged dps on opposite sides of a pull and the melee further out that the cone abilties won't hit everyone and even sometimes a ranged player may be out of my range completely. I'm so torn this expansion between Evoker & Monk but I can see Evoker causing some grief if it's on the other group members to play around it.
Enkindle blossom is going to go hard, plus engulf being tied into stasis echo combo's is gonna be great for raid healing, dumping your blossoms to build enkindle to get more hps out of the engulf is also gonna be a great positive.
Question/Clarification at ~17:45 when you're talking about Titanic Precision. We only get the extra roll on crits, right? So a normal echo, if living flame and the echo flame don't crit...are only rolling once each for a total of 2 chances at a proc. The flame has to crit to get the extra roll, right? You only get 4 chances if they both crit?
Have you tried going all in on Afterimage with talents like flow state and nozdormo's teachings? With the instability matrix hero talent, maybe even the +30% dream breath talent is worth it?
It might be! I tried the Nozdormu build recently and it’s not great. Now with that much CDR maybe! But temporal is just so much value it’s hard to give up even now. But if it is viable it will be TWW. Might be a silly raid build with all of that lol
@@Bowserthehealer Yeah if you could pump out twice as many empowered spells with all the CDR, does afterimage produce more than the 30% echos? It'll be interesting to see the numbers
I thought the same but tbh, engulf CD is very high compared to what you get in Chrono warden I tried both but Chrono is my choice atm, and you might think that you would use engulf for dmg in high keys but the incoming damages are so high and the window between packs are so low that you mostly end up using engulf for healing which reduces g out put. I've done way more dmg with Chrono warden but usually for that work perfectly I don't get the nodes related to disintegrat and just use Chrono flame for dmg, it does wonders u should try it ^^
I mean I literally have, there is footage of me using it lol. I found with juggling dream breaths with engulf the CD was rarely an issue. But chronowarden is consistent and very good. I still think flameshaper is better, but higher potential that has more risk isn’t always strictly better. It’s why I say multiple times both are viable. And trust I’m still going to use both
I haven’t heard from anyone I know yet, but flame shaped gets bonus healing on blossoms, but chronowarden gets a ton of flat haste and cdr. Both sound tempting!
reduction cd of chronowarden + mini augmentation > mass healing/dmg flameshaper sooo chronowarden fo m+ is the best option but flameshaper for raid is top.
No I don't think its that simple. THe mini aug stuff is really not strong rn. The CDR Is strong! But Flameshaper heals a metric ton, I think it can make many more clutch plays and when you pug as much as I do? Both seem fantastic!
I obviously don't know for sure, but it feels like Chronowarden is better for M+, and echo raid healing. And Flameshaper will be better for Blossoms raid healing.
I think flameshaper in good hands will be better for most pugs in M+. Both are extremely viable so I encourage people to play what works for them because there is a real chance I can run any of these builds in pugs at a high level. Chronowarden does have an extra defensive so you will see the limits pushed with that hero talent tree. But this is a world record angle not a top 1% angle
I get this comment a lot, you adapt or play something else. Not trying to be rude, but if it’s not worth overcoming it is worth swapping so you aren’t losing your mind trying to play it
Kind of sad to hear my favorite hero talent from a flavor standpoint is the easier and also less damaging one cause I am really interested to try flameshaper from a gameplay standpoint but my entire character is bronze-themed.
@liamdavies2823 I prefer the bronze to any of the other dragonflights so I'm disappointed the hero talent I enjoy more is the "easier, same old pres" one and not the one with the exciting new toys.
Hold on, it’s more consistent damage. When out gearing content flameshaper will do more. When flameshaper needs to heal more chronowarden will def do more damage!
Thank you for this. Great content and beyond helpful. I'm a Prevoker main both specs are so interesting and enticing. But I'm so addicted to time magic healing so I'm def doing Chrono first
Time magic fantasy and dragons got me into this spec before it even came out, I get it!
thanks for the content!! I'm learning so much from you!

Really great breakdowns, best pres explainer for anyone trying to get better with evoker

I should make a range video, just to supplement my other guides. Like, I have talked about it but I have no defining video. I got you!
I’m glad going full bronze time dragon class fantasy is gonna work out for me.
Nice video are you gonna main evoker in tww? also can you make a video about mistweaver monk? :)

Yall are going to cook on blossom, I hope it performs well I wanna see it!

So... devastation gets flameshaper too... can they also stick a renewing blaze on a tank?
Yes!

NEW BOWSER, LETS GOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I'm a simple man. I see a Bowser video, I press like!
Is there an addon that tells you if you have a golden opportunity up?

Neeed that ElvUI string if that's what you use🎉
And how do these work for more green focused builds? Which would be better? Have you had the chance to ask emerald blossom players?
I haven’t heard from anyone I know yet, but flame shaped gets bonus healing on blossoms, but chronowarden gets a ton of flat haste and cdr. Both sound tempting!
traditonal evoker? häh?
yeah in BFA and cata evoker was meta heal i can remember
I still miss that Azerite power where you press living flame and Alexstrasza disconnects you from WoW
Wing Buffet...yum. lol

FIRE breath? dream breath/flight? VERDANT embrace? living FLAME? huh?

Don't forget, they can also get nerfed *after* launch xD
