      Christian Armstrong in canon maybe but i would still say the old sith empire was stronger
      They had a military society with almost every imperial being trained from a young age as wel as an sith order almost as large as the jedi order
      And the sith took the galaxy like a shadow was it not for the sith emperor being a idiot only wanting power and immortality they would have won in my opinion because they where winning until the treaty of corusant
      Im talking about the sith empire from swtor btw

    Which Holocron design do I prefer? Sith. No-brainer.

  • @andrewroncallo1336

    And the foolish Jedi say that Sith can't be selfless. These gatekeepers, those Sith of old, passing on all that they know to the new generation of force users who seek power. Not out of want for immortality, not out selfish desire or want in something they know they'll no longer need, but to ensure that someone succeeds where they failed. To ensure their order thrives, and that the ultimate succession of their order comes to fruition. Seriously, if I were to have this holocron, I would be humbled and honored that these ancient and powerful Sith of old have sought me out as their successor.....until my demise at the hands of my own apprentice. Such as the way of the Sith, the weak must be rooted out, so that the one who is strongest of all may succeed where we had been flawed.

    • @TheFly212
      @TheFly212 7 років тому +2

      andrew roncallo The Order of Sith Lords is not an un-disciplined bunch. They had a very specific mission and a highly, incredibly elite membership. While a Sith Lord wants all power for himself, the Grand Plan and Sith Imperative still took priority. To destroy the Jedi. And to rule the galaxy. To that end end, each subsequent Sith got stronger and stronger. It's the genius of The Rule of Two. It is unforgiving of weakness. Only the strong survive.

    The Nightsisters Canon versus Legends #Suggestions.

    • @blackshogun272
      @blackshogun272 5 років тому

      Legends stomps it's Canon counterpart in almost every way. Everything in Legends is just 10 times more OP for some reason. And for that, I love it ! It's a galaxy far, far, away with tech that should rival Halo Precursor tech honestly. I have no idea how Star Wars Legends hadn't made multiple technologically advanced leaps in 25,000 years ! But I won't nitpick. I love the lore rich universe and will never betray it for this garbage Canon.
      Have to admit that those Vader Comics could slip into Legends if some things were shifted around. They're too cool and badass to be Canon honestly 😒

    Can you do how powerful is Exar Kun and if he ever made a sith holocron of his own secretly or unless you think he did? He one of my most favorite characters even if his spirit is gone, it doesn't mean it's dead. And yes, in my opinion, he can defeat Darth Vader by the mastery of Niman and the force. I think his SWTOR class is half warrior and half inquisitor. May the force be with you.

    He valued it so much because it ensured his legacy, its pretty much a "get out of jail free card" for the Sith, because of the nature of the Dark side, the holocron would call to any Dark Force wielder(or young force-adept), ensuring that even if every Sith was killed, and their knowledge forgotten, it was the mechanism to restart from scratch, build a new Sith without any traceable connections to the prior sith... in fact I imagine that happened at some point in the almost 1000 year gap between Darth Bane and Tenebrous/Plagueis

  • @unculturedswine7993
    @unculturedswine7993 7 років тому +13

    Honestly if I was a force sensitive in the Star Wars Universe, I don't know which order I would fall under. I mean my morality says the Jedi obviously, but if it was actually real I don't know if I could contain my more stronger emotions. If anything I would be a Grey Jedi, because it's the most balanced between the two sides of the force. The Sith look cool and all but being a genocidal zealot just doesn't seem like me.

    • @TacitSwine750
      @TacitSwine750 7 років тому +2

      Technically you could a be a Sith and not be a genocidal zealot. "Good" and "evil" are both principles. While the majority, if not all Sith members were inheritently evil by the time of their fall to the Dark Side, it isn't stated anywhere in canon that Sith members have to be evil. I could never be a jedi personally. The thought of not being able to bust a nut without being exiled has always seemed dumb to me. I would never be evil though, plus I love the dark look that is always interrupted by the illumination of a red lightsaber.

      I don't know, I just feel like the dark side would be like hella corrupting. Like you could be morally good but still succumb. Like if Sidious was like "hey come to the dark side, you can be a total badass ruler of the galaxy" he'd get me. I guess what I'm to say is I'm weak-willed.

    hey, great video as always! love of in detail you can go sometimes. I have a question but its not very jedi or sith related, its more of a technical question from the star wars universe. I dont seem to understand how the space ships work in star wars, it looks as if the size doesn't actually matter that much when it comes to going into hyperspace. From imperial ships and dreadnoughts to small fighters, they all can go into hyperspace at a touch of a button but of course with high energy loss I would imagine. Obi Wan used an special attachment for his ship to get to kamino in attack of the clones but in Rebels, the ship Ghost has a smaller ship which can detach from it and that one can get into hyperspace. Can you go into detail with this topic? how can such small ships go into hyperspace just like anyother powerful huge ship, don't they need a lot of energy form some big reactors? Thank you!

    • @jaredevans8263
      @jaredevans8263 6 років тому

      Bman296 I totally agree. Even if it's only the Jedi who exist for a time, someone from the Jedi Order will be brave/curious/stupid enough to learn from any discovered Sith knowledge....essentially being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Some Jedi knight, sooner or later, will deviate from the Jedi norms and become a rebel, likely giving rebirth to the Sith order.

    I assume the holocron was more than just knowledge it was the sith belief at its core. A way for sith past and present to live on and continue their mission to seek true perfection. As every sith knows (yet some still try to defy) death comes for all yet through an artifact as powerful as this they not only pass along their knowledge but their very essence to the next Sith Lord worthy to wield such a powerful artifact. In this way all Sith Lords becomes one and all will live on in some way to not just defy death but find true perfection (ideally)

    Minute 2:18 a gay keper?
    Minute 5:07 "To my point of view the jedi are evil!"
    You said the word holocron 35 times

    I had a question. What if someone who works on both the light side and the dark side of the force like a greyjedi gets a hold of the holocron does that mean he will be able to access the sith teachings on the holocron

    This video may contain clues as to how the Knights in the current trilogy we know helped come about. There had to be some corrupted force besides Snoke and his First Order that got At Kylo and the other Knights.

    If I were a Sith Lord in possession of these holocrons, I'd amass them all into one holocron and then make as many copies as I could to simply distribute all over the galaxy and beyond. The potential effects of which could be profound, as these holocrons and their knowledge found their way into the hands of unknown force sensitives to build them up. It would be the ultimate victory, as the Sith teachings and practitioners explode, their numbers swell all over the galaxy. Any one of them strong enough could begin their own machinations, gain power and influence, form collectives, the list goes on and on. There are bound to be hidden geniuses too, and with the collective knowledge of every Sith Lord at their disposal, they would add to it themselves with their own findings. There would be an explosion in dark side knowledge and wisdom, adding to the overall strength of the Sith.
    Fuck, why has no Sith ever done this? It would be the truest path to absolute power and destiny of the Sith philosophy, as Sith teachings found their ways to the untapped potential future Sith Lords and dark side acolytes of the future.

      Probably because to copy the Holocron, you’d have to make your own instead of simply copying it… else the Holocron in the making becomes unstable (look at Bane’s many attempts at creating his…)

    there should be a rule of two . One Jedi one sith . Both trying to gain power to balance and further the power of the force

    You said at the beginning that only Sith could open it. Not Jedi. But then later you talk about Jedi studying it and learning from it. So how would they have done that if they can't open it?

    I don't blame Palpatine for considering it the most important part to his own life he had to think of it as his most precious treasure he would have guarded it as closely as his life and that does mean for eternity lol...thank Luke for his best zombie kill of the century by making his own father do his dirty work by killing him off softy...🤣🤣🤘🤘 and I like how you presented it!
