Follow with 4e Saga Edition with " Force Unleased " and my gaming shop just multiclass 3e characters up to 30th-level. I know about power gaming mini/maxing and rule lawyers that will bend and brake systems to create overpower superhero PC. Now as for character skill/power learning curves. Each system is different and with the original novel of Empire Strikes Back, many times on film how Yoda drops his head and sighs and Luke took it as a sigh of disapproval in his learning failures. From Yoda's view Luke was learn Force skill growth arcs that took months to years in his bests students over the years in the matter of days and weeks. Please check out the novel series " Coruscant Nights. " I young man in late teens untrained in the ways of the Force running on pure panic fear and Force guided instinct grabs a hand full of repulsorlift field energy to stabilize skyscrapers and throws it at Vader wreaking him. How the guys arm let alone whole body wasn't blood misted coming that close to the field was beyond shock for the two Jedi fleeing from Vader to understand.

You at times in Star Wars have characters that are born with freakish force potential purely on luck. Galen Marek, Revan, Kyp, Sidious and etc and all of these people have either normal force sensitive parents or parents who have zero connection to the force at all. Kyp Durron being a perfect example of that. Just because someone is a skywalker does not mean they automatically have more potential than everyone it’s just that it’s rich in their bloodlines and is most potent within the first generation being Luke himself who being the first son of Anakin inherently nearly all his fathers raw potential. As these family members stretch on for years it varies from person to person but if you force me to choose I’d say Kyp has at minimum just as much force potential as the skywalker(specifically after Luke). Now in terms of jacen, Kyp, and who would win I’d have to do more research on that

Where the in the world did you get those counts from no. Pretty sure that the highest anyone but Anakin had was 18,000 or 19,000 Anakin I think had 27,000 which was why he was so powerful.
I think there's something else to consider, Vader found Galen when Galen was still a child, one that was missed by the Sith because of outside circumstances maybe it was only for a few moments but I think Vader identified with Galen enough so that he decided he wasn't going to die at the hands of some flimsy Storm Troopers the fact he was unimaginably powerful in the force was a bonus and meant he wouldn't have to kill Galen himself at a later point of time.
I am pretty sure had a Midichlorian count of 40,000 as it was stated he had the potential to be double of Darth Sidious also with a portion of his potential unlocked he defeated the Ones while Luke said that only if all the Jedi dedicated their life they could only replace the Daughter while the Sith could only replace the Son while Anakin by himself could embody Balance, The Father.
Galen Marek/Starkiller is a powerful character in Legends continuity. He would easily become one of the most powerful force users in the Star Wars universe. Being on-par with force users like Darth Nihilus and Revan.

I don't think that Galen Marek, AKA Starkiller, is a bland character. In fact he's far from bland because his feats, his connection to the Force, and because he's in touch with himself. At least, in the first game. He was struggling with his own identity throughout the first game. He thought he was Vader's apprentice until he betrayed him. He then thought he was just a mole for Vader until he started growing attached to his Rebel Alliance he created. Then, when he goes to save Kota and the rest, he realizes that he was always meant to be a Jedi. At least, in the formerly canon ending.
My personal favorite. Imagine having Darth Vader assume the role of both your self appointed mentor an surrogate father figure.. bet holidays werent particularly fun for pre games Starkiller either. Unless he was gifted with things like his assassin droid bud, or his personal ship or something so he could be a better enforcer for Vader an arguably Sideous too faining not knowing about Galen when its debabtable Sideous mightve helped in his creation. Jedi or Sith though Vader/Anakin sure does know how to train VERY powerful and dangerous warrior Force Users. Especially, apparently, in the dual weilding Jar Kei style. Darth Vader lost almost all of anikans potential when he burned and lost 3 of his limbs. Vader would ultimately be far stronger than Anikan was in episode 3 but only 80% the emperors power.
In some ways Galen Marek is what Anakin Skywalker could have been is was never roasted. I do hope one day Galen would make his canon debut and help fix the star wars universe.
I think it's best they don't. Let his story end on a good note instead of being disney-fied and trash packed like they did with Boba Fett, Ahsoka, and Luke.

I always felt that Starkiller was meant to usher in a new wave of force users cause when he was a kid and found by vader, there wasn't a lot of young kids adapting to draw power from the force so in a way galen became a sort of counter balance to anakin a sort of force storm aimed at vader to keep the balance until another could be made

I would like to believe in the force unleashed timeline galen was born to be the counter to vader in terms of force power and potential, the second son of the force to try to bring the chosen one back into the light.
Galen is my favorite Star Wars character. Not because of his power. I would still like him if he was nerfed. But the idea of a Sith assassin that “falls” to the light was so much fun to play. I hate that they took him out of cannon.
Wiki has Vader finding starkiller in 18bby. Which never made sence due to the diolauge kento has with Vader “u killed my master years ago” meaning that it had to be at least 2 or3 years. Galen looks to be about 7 or 8 when Vader takes him and trained him for the next 9 years. Since the game takes place in 3bby this would make sence since he is said to be 17 during this time. However what dosnt make sence is that the empires stormtroopers in the game look a lot like clones. So maybe this takes place in 17 or 16bby and they had him late in the clone wars, like 21 bby or 20bby. Making him again. 7 or 8 when Vader takes him. Idk
If we were playing as clone of Starkiller, then wouldn’t General Kota have sensed a different Force user? The Force, I would think, would be kind of like a wavelength where the Force user and the clone would be kinda like two different people. Outwardly the same, but different on the inside. Strangely enough, Paul S. Kemp’s take on cloning process seems kinda different. Though, I kind of liked the transfer of the spirit via a tool. It saved the author’s minor mistake.
At this stage of Star Wars I feel like he can Easily fit into the current cannon even with his “OP” abilities (not gonna lie it would be sick to see Starkiller Dual wield Sabres with Lightning running through them). You could put him in as either one of the Clones that was kinda mind broken or one of the clones that wasn’t broken but a back up but in both Cases were put in Carbonite an both could go either way to tip the Balance of the force by a large margin, on the computer it has his call sign Starkiller clone #0117 Jedi hunter Jedi weapon extremely dangerous. Honestly I’d prefer an “OP” starkiller storyline over any Ray story he actually fits. Just Imagine how Acrobatic Deadpool was with an R rated movie but with starkiller with all his crazy “OP” Acrobats, Force abilities and Dual wielding sabres. omG! 🍾
Vader knew he wasn't kewl enough alone so he was always looking for a friend to prop him up. Basically Vader is a dog too scared to act so he needs someone else to actually bite his master. Also a bunch of uber powerful force users seem to have appeared in a span of 20 to 30 years lore wise with more showing up every new story.
I mean let's acknowledge the Elephant in the room Vader was expecting a child when he turned and to find a child of not only a jedi but one also nearly as powerful as he was I wouldn't be surprised if Vader saw Starkiller as a sort of surrogate for the child he "lost"

To me Galen Marek was like the dark side Anakin we could’ve gotten if Anakin had retained all his limbs im not sure if Luke is the best comparison.... when compared to somebody like Starkiller with that much power and unlimited abilities i’d say Anakin but as a full fledged Sith but not conflicted as he was in ROTS. It makes sense that Vader would train Starkiller in the most brutal and harshest dark side training since he was a rare specimen who could wield the force like no other except for powerful figures like Yoda, Sidious, and Anakin/Vader himself since Vader lost his duel on Mustafar and not as powerful as he could have when he was Anakin but then came Starkiller as the new force wielding protege
I thought Galen is as strong as the legends Luke in the return of the Jedi. Midiclorian count is shown, yet I think that the clone has similar strength potential as Luke at the end of episode 6.
before watching this through, my guess is that this is a creative manifestation of vaders inborn regret of everything, yanno? so raise this guy up in secret to ultimately be able to kill sidious? it sounds simple but thats so complex for what anakins story is, he probably doesnt even know why he wants to kill sidious using starkiller he probably thinks its just to take the throne but really its his regret, right?

I think people dismiss the power of being a parent too often. Anakin never got to fulfill his role of being a parent and i believe during his transformation from anakin to Vader, that it was a lingering sense of pride with him. I believe this also plays into his obsession with Starkiller and eventually with Luke. He was so blinded by the dark side that ofc hed gravitate towards trying to bring them over to his side when really he just wanted to fulfill the role he never was able to live out because of his brainwashing by Palps.
Starkiller was the dark side Anakin 2.0 I’d say that bcuz he comes off more like another Anakin i just don’t think Luke is the best comparison to a character like Galen Marek cuz remember it was both their attachments that became their prime motivation in the end Vader obsessed over Starkiller bcuz they had so much in common he was the reflection of what Anakin could have been at his full power

Darth Vader lost almost all of anikans potential when he burned and lost 3 of his limbs. Vader would ultimately be far stronger than Anikan was in episode 3 but only 80% the emperors power.
In some ways Galen Marek is what Anakin Skywalker could have been is was never roasted.
I do hope one day Galen would make his canon debut and help fix the star wars universe.

I always felt that Starkiller was meant to usher in a new wave of force users cause when he was a kid and found by vader, there wasn't a lot of young kids adapting to draw power from the force so in a way galen became a sort of counter balance to anakin a sort of force storm aimed at vader to keep the balance until another could be made

Galen is my favorite Star Wars character. Not because of his power. I would still like him if he was nerfed. But the idea of a Sith assassin that “falls” to the light was so much fun to play. I hate that they took him out of cannon.

Wiki has Vader finding starkiller in 18bby. Which never made sence due to the diolauge kento has with Vader “u killed my master years ago” meaning that it had to be at least 2 or3 years. Galen looks to be about 7 or 8 when Vader takes him and trained him for the next 9 years. Since the game takes place in 3bby this would make sence since he is said to be 17 during this time. However what dosnt make sence is that the empires stormtroopers in the game look a lot like clones. So maybe this takes place in 17 or 16bby and they had him late in the clone wars, like 21 bby or 20bby. Making him again. 7 or 8 when Vader takes him. Idk
If we were playing as clone of Starkiller, then wouldn’t General Kota have sensed a different Force user? The Force, I would think, would be kind of like a wavelength where the Force user and the clone would be kinda like two different people. Outwardly the same, but different on the inside.
Strangely enough, Paul S. Kemp’s take on cloning process seems kinda different. Though, I kind of liked the transfer of the spirit via a tool. It saved the author’s minor mistake.
At this stage of Star Wars I feel like he can Easily fit into the current cannon even with his “OP” abilities (not gonna lie it would be sick to see Starkiller Dual wield Sabres with Lightning running through them). Honestly I’d prefer an “OP” starkiller storyline over any Ray story he actually fits. Vader knew he wasn't kewl enough alone so he was always looking for a friend to prop him up. Basically Vader is a dog too scared to act so he needs someone else to actually bite his master. Also a bunch of uber powerful force users seem to have appeared in a span of 20 to 30 years lore wise with more showing up every new story.
I mean let's acknowledge the Elephant in the room Vader was expecting a child when he turned and to find a child of not only a jedi but one also nearly as powerful as he was I wouldn't be surprised if Vader saw Starkiller as a sort of surrogate for the child he "lost"

To me Galen Marek was like the dark side Anakin we could’ve gotten if Anakin had retained all his limbs im not sure if Luke is the best comparison.... when compared to somebody like Starkiller with that much power and unlimited abilities i’d say Anakin but as a full fledged Sith but not conflicted as he was in ROTS. It makes sense that Vader would train Starkiller in the most brutal and harshest dark side training since he was a rare specimen who could wield the force like no other except for powerful figures like Yoda, Sidious, and Anakin/Vader himself since Vader lost his duel on Mustafar and not as powerful as he could have when he was Anakin but then came Starkiller as the new force wielding protege

I think people dismiss the power of being a parent too often. Anakin never got to fulfill his role of being a parent and i believe during his transformation from anakin to Vader, that it was a lingering sense of pride with him. I believe this also plays into his obsession with Starkiller and eventually with Luke. He was so blinded by the dark side that ofc hed gravitate towards trying to bring them over to his side when really he just wanted to fulfill the role he never was able to live out because of his brainwashing by Palps.

Second, If you think Galen is bland then you think all of Star Wars is bland, because Galen alone encompasses the whole story by embodying Vader, Luke, the clones & Ahsoka all at once.
