How to tell if someone blocked your number on iPhone

If you're worried about being blocked on an iPhone, here are some clues to help you find out:
📬 Send an iMessage: Try sending an iMessage. If it shows as "Delivered," you're probably not blocked. If it's "Not Delivered," there's a chance you've been blocked.
💬 Send an SMS: If iMessage doesn't work, send a regular SMS. Look for the "Delivered" or "Not Delivered" status. "Not Delivered" could mean you're blocked. If the person has an iPhone, disable iMessage in Messages settings to send a regular SMS.
📞 Phone Them: If iMessage and SMS fail, give them a call. If you're blocked, your call will go straight to voicemail after one ring or half a ring. If they don't have voicemail, you'll hear an automated message saying the caller is unavailable.
📵 Mask Your Number, Then Call: Use caution with this method. Dial *67 before the number to hide your caller ID. Your call will appear as "No Caller ID" or "Unknown Number" on their phone. If your call goes through or rings more than once, your number isn't blocked.

It looks like the send arrow is also green which you could test out before sending message. If it’s green right away then you know you’re blocked

Thank you for sharing! That's a great point. However, when you see a green arrow instead of blue, it could also mean we're sending via MMS/SMS, not iMessage. This happens if the recipient doesn't have an Apple device, iMessage is turned off on either device, or there are temporary iMessage issues.

If it says text message and the arrow automatically turns green you are blocked.. also, the icon call and FaceTime will button disappear on their contact .

What if the imessage goes undelivered but the phone rings more than 6 times before going to the voicemail. this happened to me. at first imessages would go undelivered for over 24 hrs, then next day my messages would go instantly delivered. but arfter a few back to undelivered. phone was going straight to voicemail before too, now rings like normal. i dunno what to think.

If it doesnt deliver it means a few things, either your of course blocked, their phone died, or they dont have any connection so if its delivered that means their phone didnt have connection at that time

What if it was initially blue? Then said “ not delivered “ hazard sign. Then said send and text message instead?
