Ollounder (LEEZ, who wrote almost all the songs of this band also with Ollounder, unfortunately left on one of the recent albums) is responsible for absolutely all the guitars of all Dreamcatcher songs. He is one of the most important parts of the Dreamcatcher team. Leez was responsible for the softer sound of dreamcatcher, and Ollounder is the "hard rocker" (By the way, it is rock and metal that are the main and central concept of Dreamcatcher) and it was his concept that almost always dominated, so I guess you shouldn't be surprised if he left for an exclusive contract with another company (they're both geniuses, but we don't know what kind of drama there was between these two of our favorite guys.Every single song, every single one, is written by these two guys (but like I said, on the last albums, only Ollounder has acted as the main composer and main producer)
The mystery figure at the end, we THINK, is Jiu from Deja Vu! Part of the promotions for this album was revealing that all their storylines-the Nightmare series, Deja Vu, the Dystopia trilogy, the Apocalypse trilogy-are connected through parallel universes, and Deja Vu is one story that directly relates to this-the members are trapped in a cycle of watching Jiu and Yoohyeon fight for the crown. So by destroying the crown in this MV, that old cycle is finally ended. Other theories are that it’s a character from the ARG they’ve had going on in this arc, but I like the poetry of the first option.
How did Siyeon get a vibrato at the end of that note??! She's insane, her vocal chords should be studied. I'd pay any amount to be in that studio session!
Dreamcatcher is truly such a unique group. I remember when “Piri” came up on shuffle for the first time and I was legit headbanging in my car so hard that I was slightly nauseated afterward lol some other really excellent songs you’ll probably love: Maison, Boca, Vision, Piri, and Reason! I personally would recommend Boca first, the musical change ups will give you whiplash in the best way. And the vocals are INSANE (not shocking considering they’re insane on every song but still). Love watching your videos, it takes me back to when I first discovered a lot of these artists and the joy I felt listening to them for the first time!
Gahyeon destroyed the Crown from OOTD after Siyeon threw it away thus ending it's evil reign of terror. The lore behind the story in the two songs, OOTD and Justice, is very elaborate and convoluted.
