love this plane! boeing 747 beats any airbus all day
Boeing 747-8 is the best plane, and Lufthansa is the best airline
I think the new livery looks good. It is not as individual as the old one and I kind of liked the retro feel about the yellow and blue. The yellow was so essentially part of the LH corporate look and was around for ages(does anybody still remember the yellow flight timetable??) I wonder if the yellow will vanish completely from LH logos in the LH terminal at Frankfurt?

Just needs the tail - bird logo returned to its golden yellow colour. Who remembers the wonderful BOAC deep blue colour scheme on their VC 10's AND 707's. Also the BOAC cunard on the nose. Well done Lufthansa for keeping the iconic name logo, just bring back the bird !
Great vid. Although when I saw the old livery on the a321 and saw the two together. ..... really going to miss the old one big time!!!
1st off, I've never seen ANY livery on ANY 747 that I didn't like. While I do like the new livery in & of itself, I think I like the old livery better w/1 exception...I REALLY like the white engines over the grey ones. I just really liked the combination of a very brilliant blue w/the yellow Lufthansa insignia on the old vs. the darker blue & white on the new livery...Pls like or comment if u agree or disagree, I'm curious what other livery purists think...Nate- Pittsburgh, PA
the old is EXACT SECURITY CONFIANSA TRADITION LEGEND '' class line breed that is this-? as they are occupied this vulgar livery and of everyone world they change and they go to pique apart they assassinate a VISUAL LEGEND and very BELOVED(greetings from MEXICO )
luchatroka alvarado guajardo yeah I have to agree w/u on that one. If u see at the very beginning of the vid, u can see what I'm talkin' about when an A321 w/the old livery (the brilliant blue & yellow tail) passes right behind the -8 w/the new livery. By itself, I like the new livery, but compared to the old livery, it can't hold a flame to it. (Greetings from the States ;-))
ohh-thank you I agree with you here in MEXICO we also have a national pride with the omnibus buses of MEXICO from 1936 to 2018 retains that same livery without changing image or shields and that is PRIDE CLASS DISTANCE STATUS EXCELLENCE and visual security "and that is 100% elegance without looking for each other and forget their ancestry and voice m thanks LUFTHANSA present in Mexico since the 50s with the DC-7 in 60s with the 707-420 in 1975 DC-10 30s A310-747-200s today 2018 747-300 the flight is daily FRANFURTH -MEXICO city for many years 23 to be exact

Das mit der AN225 ist angekommen, aber dass der Termin verschoben/delayed wird passt mir ^^ wäre zu dem angekündigten Datum in Madrid gewesen und hätte sie - mal wieder - verpasst :D

Don't change the livery ! ! !
I do not prefer the new livery because, the original Lufthansa livery is based on the Bavarian flag. If something is not broken and is doing awesome as it is, don't mess, or change it. The Lufthansa livery is recognizable and awesome as it is, leave it alone and let people enjoy it! If you change the livery from the original, people get confused and say "Hey, is that an 'original' Lufthansa?" . . . Let them say "HEY! . . . That's Lufthansa!"

Tolle Aufnahme! Allerdings noch schlimmer, als dass das gelb fehlt, finde ich, dass die neue Lackierung wirklich in den meisten Lichtsituationen einfach nur schwarz erscheint und keine Anzeichen von einem majestätischen Blau hat. Etwas helleres Blau hätte mir besser gefallen, so sieht es eher aus wie ein Trauerflor. Ein gelber statt weisser Kranich dazu und es wäre ein Traum geworden, aber ich hör jetzt besser auf zu nörgeln^^ Hassen tu ichs nicht, ist auch ganz elegant.

How many millions of euro dollars did this cost the airlines? In my opinion, the original livery looked a lot better than this one now.

Einigermaßen unschön, dieses neue Design kann mich nicht gerade überzeugen, aber auf mich hört ja wieder keiner! :-)
Hopefully they were just flying around to dry the black undercoat and will finish it off with a nice colour next week........Air New Zealand does black and white very well....but this mmmmmm, awful.

Exactly you also have class ancestry and pride for that reason the tradition legend and privilege of being LUFTHANSA of some 2 or 3 in the world that conserve their PROUD identity can not be wrong that pity with this livery without grace line or shine nomas x'' equal all the world and then bankrupt
